Have been lurking but not posting sorry! Anyone else think we ought to start a new thread - it's not July anymore and soon it won't be August either!

flosspot CD4, 4th cycle, mc June
nomore CD15 21st cycle (2nd w Clomid) ttc #1

Hey flosspot - all your feelings are normal, especially so soon after your miscarriage. You are still grieving. I didn't feel better about other people being PG until five months after my mc. Are you ttc your first? I am and yes it seems unfair when other people don't have to temp/pee on sticks etc but wouldn't you rather be in control of your fertility?

I worry too that I don't OV as I have never had regular periods (although was on pill for long time) and wonder whether my last pregnancy was just a rebound after coming off the pill. But we both have to be comforted by the fact we DID get PG - and in all likelihood we will again.

Don't you just hate it when people say try to relax? But try to relax!

I am on second day of Clomid today and feel no adverse reaction - when would I start to get side-effects if I was going to?

nomore CD15 21st cycle (2nd w Clomid) ttc #1
nh101 CD3 1st cycle, MC March

no idea nh- maybe you are just one of the lucky ones...I am a blubbering wreck. I mean i will literally cry at anything. grrr. As you say- we have done it once....

nomore- should have said that for roll call, we are talking about cycles on Clomid. Although so sorry you are on cycle 21....we've been trying for 18months. Isn't it hideous?

Hey lulu- watchadoin?

Hiya NH101- well as far as I know clomid has "worked" in that they think I am OVing. I do get AF regularly now and they did a prog test in the middle of my first cycle- I never saw the results for that as he said that as long as I am getting AF regularly then I should be Oving. Clomid hasn't "worked" in that I am not pg, so after my next cycle (start soon) I will have surgery. There were suggestions that I had scarring caused by the ERPC or maybe endemitriosis (which was tentatively diagnosed many years ago).

I am just hanging on to the fact that our MC were a sad event and that we can still get pg. It is awful, though, I know as you are so upset about losing a baby and on top of that you feel like it has screwed up your body! Take care and try to stay positive!

Hi all i am new to mumsnet and i have just been prescribed clomiphene 50mg. I would like to know how successfull it can be as i have been trying for a baby for years. I had to beg my doc for the tablets as i do not fit the criteria for treatment from the NHS as my fiance has a child from a previous relationship dreaded postcode lottery. Ive only been given 3 months supply so i am kinda hoping it will happen very fast.

wizzywig · 28/09/2007 17:47

hi shazbot, im sort of new to this thread (only posted in july). its crazy to hear about having to wait years just for clomid. its just a cheap tablet and then some scans for monitoring. its not as if its something hi-tech like ivf. aagh the nhs-fertility situation in this country makes me mad but very grateful at the same time. my 9month son was conceived on 5 months worth of clomid (100mg). anyway ive been ttc since june (so around 3 months) and ive had two day 21 blood tests which show im not ovulating again so i got my prescripton from my gynae today for clomid. here we go on again! everyone better hide cos next month im going to be the crazy clomid woman!! good luck everyone, i'll be thinking of you while im keeping those legs in the air. xxxxx
