Really enjoyed being on the Christmas day testing thread even though I was out before the 25th. I thought it would be good to start another thread for peoplw to join me in the TWW since the January buses are such a long period and some people are 14dpo and some like me are counting down the hours to the TWW. I ovulate on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th. Opks are very low at the moment but hoping to catch a surge. Still trying to DTD everyday (we are newlyweds), keep forgetting to take our vitamins and to use preseed but hoping just to get lucky on our second cycle.

@User258 I had that pinching, sort of tingling feeling at 9 and 10 DPO this month... oh fingers crossed this is implantation niggles!

Soexciting · 14/01/2019 07:15

Good morning everyone, hope you are all coping as well as can be expected this week. Thank you so much for your support and kind words yesterday. It actually made me well up, and then feel bad that I am feeling so shit and some of you have had miscarriages to deal with during your TTC journey. I was feeling so sorry for myself and sad, very PMSy my period is not due for a few days but feels like it's on its way.
Negative FRER this morning with an exactly 4 hour hold. Although somehow I am convince that the stark whiteness isn't as white as usual despite feeling my period coming on as I type. Will probably piss on £3.50 each morning until the which shows up.
Have decided to not track or plan be next month, I have an amazing husband and I am happy with him and my life this whole TTC thing is making me miserable.
Sorry that everyone is feeling so out/despondent hopefully chances are there will be some BFPs on the thread we just have to wait and see x

A bfn for me this morning. No sign of AF either but I just don't feel pregnant so I do think I'm out this cycle. Hoping for some bfp on this thread. Babydust for all of you who are still in xxx

showmethegin · 14/01/2019 09:58

Sorry to hear that @Ange211

I caved this morning to BFN on an IC either 9 or 10 days DPO. So think I'm out, or is it too early?!

SuziQ10 · 14/01/2019 10:08

AF showed up this morning.
Just been to Sainsbury's and spent £6 on tampons and pads. Felt very low. Sort of didn't think I'd be here again this month.

Never expected TTC to be so tricky! I'm 28 so thought I'd be ahead of the game for some reason. This is really taking it's toll on me. Six cycles now.

glowingtwigs · 14/01/2019 11:00

Morning ladies. I'm feeling crappy this morning too- sorry to hear about the BFNs and the AFs. I haven't tested but pretty sure it would be BFN, boobs seem to have gone down; I don't feel preg at all. I cried most of the way to work because I want it so badly and stupidly googled graphs of pregnancy rates at 38... the plummeting line makes me panic and it's my 38th birthday on Sunday. Starting ttc in July I 100% thought I'd be pregnant at 38, not on cycle 5 after mc and feeling so unpregnant. Sad sorry for the moan, just feeling so down. DH has sperm analysis this week and I'm so scared.

ohio91 · 14/01/2019 11:58

Ok so... I don't know wether to pinch myself cos I'm still sleeping or actually believe what I'm seeing... Was convinced AF was showing early based off back ache yesterday evening. POAS this morning anyway because everyone always says you're not out until AF shows... Guys it's literally got a second line 😭 and it's pink! Super faint and still so early I don't want to get my hopes up but I think I'm frickin pregnant???? The camera is struggling to pick it up because it's faint but it is 100% there! About to get ready for work and try go on with a normal day! Gonna be a mad woman until Wednesday when AF was supposed to show!! Ahhhh! Keeping it from DH until I can get a digital test.

arrggghh I also caved this morning and got BFN, although still early I guess (AF due Fri). This is going to be such a long week!
Weirdly now I have done a test all "symptoms" I did have for the last few days have disappeared.... so maybe they were all in my head!
Anyway going to try and remain positive, its not over until AF arrives and when it does I have a nice bottle of champagne I got for my birthday a few weeks ago which I will drown my sorrows in Grin

ChocChip01 · 14/01/2019 12:03

@ohio91 Congrats I can see a faint line! If you do one tomorrow it should be stronger. I had a really faint line just like that when I got pregnant first time and didn't believe it until I bought a clear blue digital which spelt it out for me.

GMB2000 · 14/01/2019 12:11

Evap or very faint positive? I’m 11dpo, had constant cramping since I ovulated and insanely sore and itchy boobs. I feel like I am but I can never believe them when I eat faint results like this because they look like evap line. This was after 3 mins. What do you think?

congratulations @ohio91 I am so so happy for you, how many dpo are you?
Wow GMB2000 I can see that line too. Yay to the BFP flying in!

sal1987 · 14/01/2019 13:40

Wow I can see lines on both tests congratulations guys!! @Soexciting don't give up yet, keep testing if you want but I still think it's too early yet, I'm flitting from being pregnant to there not been a chance so I'm just so confused with the rest of the week to worry about it!
Nothing I can say will make anyone else feel better but trust me when I say I completely understand the bfn and the absolutely horrible feeling that comes with it, just be kind to yourself, treat yourself to that bottle of bubbly or that fat piece of chocolate!! You will come through the other side!!
Lots of love to you all 💖💖💖

ohio91 · 14/01/2019 13:51

@soexciting I didn't confirm ovulation because I don't temp and I didn't get a proper surge I don't think sooooo I'm roughly 11/12 dpo. I'm edging towards more of the 12. Every test up until this morning has been Stark BFN. Don't give up hope yet!!!

Soexciting · 14/01/2019 13:54

Everyone on this thread is so nice and so deserves everything they hope for. This is such a distressing journey. Today I had sushi (smoked salmon) and an X-ray (dental). The dentist said that my terrible pain at night is due to grinding through stress. She told me to buy myself a new pillow and book in a massage!
I think we should all treat ourselves, good news or bad

Congratulations to the two bfps!
I so thought I was out after my bfn this morning and some brownish discharge (tmi sorry!) On wiping earlier buuuuuut its totally stopped. AF always starts with bloody discharge for me but gets heavier really quickly. Is it too late for this to be ip? I'm on day 28 of cycle and I thought 14 dpo but didn't use opk so not 100% sure! Argh this is torture!!!!!!

JingleAllTheQuack · 14/01/2019 19:23

Some BFPs already! Congratulations!!

Symptom spotting like crazy and trying to resist the urge to test. AF is due on Saturday, so I'm going to start testing Wednesday, which means only one more morning to resist...

To the people who don't have symptoms or don't feel pregnant - don't lose heart! I read that in half of pregnancies, the first symptom is a late period. You're not out yet!

Hunkyd0ry · 14/01/2019 19:25

Waiting is taking ages. Luckily I don’t have any tests otherwise I would have caved.
Huge congratulations to those BFP.
Deep breaths and cake for those that aren’t getting the results they want.

foreverthe2ww · 14/01/2019 20:00

hi @soexciting

"pissing on £3.50 every morning" made me laugh :) .. im sorry you have been feeling down though. I joined this thred as im due af/bfp on the same day as you.

unfortunately i have had no signs or symptoms what so ever! :( .. so i dont feel i have anything in there growing, although obviously i hope there is, somehow.

i have run out of things to google, today i googled what are the most common cravings in early pregnancy and then decided to google what are the most common food aversions in early pregnancy lol .. so yea really bored of the tww every month, .. im also in the same boat as you with not gonna be actively trying or chasing it after this month, i feel like i just need to get on with my life now and it will happen when it happens.

thats not good that you are grinding your teeth :( .. did you know that when you are stressed you produce cortisol and cortisol reduces the amount of progesterone that you produce which as you know you need that in the tww more then ever, so yea .. you may very well find that, IF this month is not your month then as soon as you are more relaxed and enjoying yourself again it will happen a lot quicker, .. easier said the done i know.

but anyway, lets see what this cycle brings, good luck to us all.

R xx

Also huge congrats to @ohio91 and @GMB2000 Cake Flowers

hopeful31 · 14/01/2019 20:40

Can I ask a question? Is it possible to feel pregnant ? I've had spotting on cd21. Cramps sore nipples sore lower back lots of nausea. Af is due between Saturday (past) and this Wednesday. But the test say negative. But I honestly feel pregnant.
Am I crazy? Or is it possible?

foreverthe2ww · 14/01/2019 21:26

@hopeful31 yes totally possible to feel pregnant and to be it. Smile

Kins00 · 14/01/2019 21:43

I am still count uong with my usual exercise routine until I get a BFP.... This won't be damaging will it at such an early stage? I get nervous every time I do a sit up just incase!!

Kins00 · 14/01/2019 21:48

Also congrats on all the BFPs so far... Hopefully plenty more to come!

@ Soexciting it really does get you down doesn't it! I definitely feel happier since I have stopped halved my googling. I just have a little cry when AF comes then start feeling positive that I am at the start of another cycle.

hopeful31 · 14/01/2019 22:00

@foreverthe2ww thank you xx

foreverthe2ww · 14/01/2019 22:01

@kins00

yes you will be ok to carry on with your exercise as normal. i think the only time it may possibly be a problem is if you never exercise and then decide to try run a marathon, that would be a lot of stress on the body which it wouldn't be used to, but even then it doesn't mean it would definitely cause any problems, .. once the sticky beans are in there they are pretty resilient. Your body is used to exercise though so its perfectly healthy for you to carry on.
