BFP or AF due 19th January

Really enjoyed being on the Christmas day testing thread even though I was out before the 25th. I thought it would be good to start another thread for peoplw to join me in the TWW since the January buses are such a long period and some people are 14dpo and some like me are counting down the hours to the TWW. I ovulate on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th. Opks are very low at the moment but hoping to catch a surge. Still trying to DTD everyday (we are newlyweds), keep forgetting to take our vitamins and to use preseed but hoping just to get lucky on our second cycle.

Congrats for the bfps. I'm not testing until I'm certain that AF isn't coming, so I won't know until next week. I've got a feeling it will be a bfn anyway.

Just wondering, if I had awful morning sickness in my first 2 pregnancies, is it possible that a subsequent pregnancy could have no sickness? Just feeling discouraged by the lack of nausea.

Thanks everyone! Still not getting too excited... Worried incase somehow it was a false positive (even though the line was deffo pink!) And THEN worried incase it doesn't stick 😭 oh boy this is going to be a stressful journey!! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else! It's still early for bfps, everyone is different! I was disheartened when I was getting started bfns the last few days because I know other people get bfp as early as 8 or 9 dpo! Keep the faith 🤞🏻

So, I have had a feeling like a pin sticking into my uterus, it has been constant since yesterday. It's not painful, just annoyingly uncomfortable. I am 10dpo.

I also have a very unhealthy habbit of drinking a can of Pepsi max at lunch time. Today however, it tasted awful- like having money in my mouth if that makes sense?

There are other things too but TMI I suspect.

Anybody else experienced this?

@payperview yes you can have a completely different experience even if your other pregnancies were similar with the morning sickness.

@ohio91 try not to worry, ... although easier said then I know.

@user258 that can be an aversion symptom, so where you normally enjoy your pepsi, your surge of hcg hormones can make you no longer like it. I was reading this yesterday, .. you can crave sugar/salty/spicy/protein/calcium things due to pregnancy and then have an aversion to the same thing you had a craving for days later due to hormones (they seemed a little unsure if it is because of hormones was the gist i got, it could be a variation of things but generally its hormones)

Hi can I join? Bit late to the party!
I'm ttc #1 and this is our first proper cycle trying. AF is due on Thursday, I caved and tested on Sunday (negative), so don't think this is our month but still a tiny bit of hope until AF arrives!

I have had spots on my chin appear now, ... this could be due to pregnancy buuuuut it could also just be due to AF or the herbs i have started taking, as always the symptom could be for various reasons ugh. I really dont feel pregnant and have had no dreams to indicate that i am (last time I dreamt about blood which meant being pregnant, it turned out i was and the dream happened on what would of been the day of implantation it seems)

Another BFN for me this morning... not much in the way of symptoms apart from a metallic taste in mouth and feeling super hungry (but I’m always hungry especially when bored at work!). Roll on Friday when AF is due! Anyone else testing today?

@ChocChip01 I'm going to try and be good and wait until AF is late, which would be Thursday. Not holding out much hope- boobs are less sore and I feel a bit crampy... feel v unpregnant and like AF is going to appear.

You are both very good not testing. I made the mistake of buying a load of internet cheapies for a couple quid. Fingers crossed for you guys!

To those who have been pregnant before what is morning sickness like? I am having hot flushes and my face is going tingly like I'm going to be sick and get the extra saliva in my mouth but having a drink keeps it at bay, I haven't been sick and don't feel ill like it's a bug. Also do the symptoms come and go or have them all the time? My stomach and backache come and go and my left boob is sore but my right isn't as bad and that comes and goes too. Sorry for the long message but any help would be appreciated. 😘😘

@chochip01 a metallic taste in the mouth is usually a good symptom to have!

@sal1987 extra saliva is also a good symptom to have, it sounds pretty good so far with whats going on for you, .. a lot of these symptoms can happen with AF due too unfortunately but extra saliva is good.

With my first I didn’t have morning sickness but felt dodgy. A bit like I could be sick but nothing ever happened.
Little drinks, little and often food and ginger apparently all help!

@ChocChip01 I’m the same with cheapie ones (Superdrug had them on sale) so I just used them all up and now I just have a FRER and a CB both still in sealed packets. I’m less likely to drive myself nuts on those to “just see”.

AF due tomorrow or Friday so will just wait and see for now

@sal1987 I’m the same just the left boob sore. Normal pre-AF soreness is usually both boobs sore.

Ladies help me before I go off my rocker! Af has still not made her full appearance. This is highly unusual for me.... A quick Google says spotting can happen up to 3 days before af but never for me....I'm thinking I'm still in or am I clutching at straws???

Ange if you ovulated (and conceived) later than you thought, it may be why there’s no sign of AF yet but too early for BFP. Fingers crossed that you are still in.
