BFP or AF due 19th January

Really enjoyed being on the Christmas day testing thread even though I was out before the 25th. I thought it would be good to start another thread for peoplw to join me in the TWW since the January buses are such a long period and some people are 14dpo and some like me are counting down the hours to the TWW. I ovulate on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th. Opks are very low at the moment but hoping to catch a surge. Still trying to DTD everyday (we are newlyweds), keep forgetting to take our vitamins and to use preseed but hoping just to get lucky on our second cycle.

I can't stop eating! Hoping it's a genuine symptom, but not getting my hopes up. I don't feel pregnant.

@ange211 I had a metallic taste yesterday! Happened three separate times during the day and didn't stay for long and haven't had it again today. So not sure if I can really count that as relevant or not, but I've never had it in my life before lol it was pretty gross!

@glowingtwigs my AF is due on Wednesday too. So far I've tested twice and both have been negative of course... I tell myself I won't test again till Tuesday but even I know that ain't gonna happen. I wish I had some poas self control lol.

@ohio91 I'm not keeping any tests in the house now! Have decided if no AF by Thursday I'll get one! We live in the middle of nowhere so getting tests is a journey, so much easier to resist! Also, every time I've been convinced I'm preg they've been negative so it's just disappointing! Metallic taste sounds promising for you though... fingers crossed!

In the night for some reason I feel preg but in the morning I don't at all really!

It's getting to the bit I hate! First week of tww is fine for me because I categorically know it's to early to POAS but 10 days dpo tomorrow so urge getting greater. Have 6 FRERs burning a whole in my bathroom cabinet! Hoping to wait till Wednesday.

No symptoms so far except for being a absolutely ravenous. Just ate over half a French baguette with cheese, could eat again to be honest!

I am starving too but just did a test and BFN. Starting to think all the symptoms are psychological. I feel so utterly crap. I know we are not out until AF shows but if I am feeling nauseous and tired and sore I should be positive and if I am not then surely there is not enough of the hormone in my system to be making me feel like this.
Feeling very sorry for myself and very hungry

Me & DP had mmc back in May 2018. Due to some issues that arose after it we weren't able to ttc until December. Currently just over half way thru our 2WW and AF due on Friday 18th. Fingers crossed for us all!! 💞

@Soexciting I'm sure you're on the same sort of dates for me, I'm DPO8 so just keep staying positive, it's probably too early to test. Just try to hold out a little bit longer and keep staying positive!!

Sorry to hear about your mmc, fingers crossed for Friday, I’m due AF too on Friday. Had a few mild symptoms but hard to know if it’s just in my head or something else. My biggest symptom with my first pregnancy was sore boobs, I don’t have that this time so trying not to get my hopes up!

Sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish @Soexciting , have a nice snack and stay positive, it's probably too early! It's really difficult not to symptom spot. I've been comparing my notes I made on my app from August when I was pregnant and a lot of the same symptoms I have now but then I also had in October and November... 🙈 it's just so hard to tell and the waiting game is so hard!

Been so bloated and uncomfortable feeling over the past few days and had pulling sensations and sharp cramp too. Insomnia has kicked in when usually I get unbelievably tired before AF is due! I know this is probably all in my head & I'm waiting for her to turn up as she always does... can't help but get a little carried away hoping though.

It's funny because when I had my DD 7 years ago, I thought I miscarried as I bled heavy on week 6, then found out I was still pregnant after having bloods done as PG tests always came back negative 🙈 I don't remember worrying so much back then!

@ChocChip01 thank you!! My boobs are fine but nipples are really tender but I don't wanna get myself worked up! I wasn't back into a regular cycle until December either so my symptoms are all different than they were before! Not sure what to expect but shall report back on Friday! Xx

Not sure if I have ovulated this month as I have sacked off the OPKs so i may be out before I started. However not losing this glimmer of hope!!! Mood swings have been crazy this week and slightly sore boobs. Fingers crossed for everyone! Can't wait to see everyone's BFP pics! Always gives me hope!

Ok sack off what I just said. Literally just been to the loo and I've started spotting. Fml. I guess that's hi and bye everyone! 😂

@GinaJabowski thank you for your positivity! I think it is just AF though as my cycles can be irregular; so this is just a shorter one. Actually fairly happy as I start Clomid on CD2 of my next cycle so sooner AF comes the better!

Well if it's helps anyone stay positive, my last pregnancy I tested negative despite having nausea didn't get a bfp until I was a week late!

So I said I wouldn't symptom spot but I'm lying on the sofa and my legs ache so much. I haven't exactly had a strenuous day to deserve to feel like I do! Anyone else ever had this? Also I feel like AF is coming (same discharge, stomach ache, back ache and hot flushes but I still have another week until due!!). Feel like it's going to be a long week trying not to think about it!

I think I may be out! 🙄 Just got hit with a real dull achey lower back about an hour ago. Could be how i was sitting on the couch but pretty sure it's similar to how I felt last month before AF showed up. I'm due af on or around Wednesday so could line up with that. I came off cerelle in September and have had AF show up each month since then but 3 months of periods isn't enough for me to really know what normal pre-af symptoms are for me! Wish I would quit symptom spotting, I feel like the Sicky feeling I have is literally coming from my own brain. Why do we do this to ourselves??? Nipples hurt, areolas seem a little bit darker (I've never paid much attention to them if I'm honest), feel somewhat queasy today, lower back is aching, had a metallic taste in my mouth 2 days ago but nothing since ... Could be AF could be pregnancy. Negative tests so far 🤷🏻‍♀️ hate the tww!!

Have been really disheartened for the last few days because I was sure I was not pregnant so stopped pregnacy symptom spotting BUT I've been having strange sharp pinching all day. I can't say I have ever experienced the feeling before but who knows, I may have just not been paying attention other months.

Ivery now become hopefull but not entirely convinced either.

Hello all. I posted right at the beginning of this thread but haven't been back since- been trying (entirely unsuccessfully) not to spend too much time obsessing during the TWW!

@Kins00 I feel your pain! How are you feeling? I tried the CB digital ovulation tests for the first time this cycle too. Cycle normally 32 days, although last month was randomly 36 days. Had nothing days 12-14, then flashing smiley face 'high' for nine days from CD15-23 but no peak! I was testing twice a day once I got the flashing smiley too. Gave up at that point, mostly because I'd run out of test sticks. So if my cycle is back to its normal 32 days I should be about 12 DPO today, but frankly I've no idea. Not a single symptom either. Trying to resist the temptation to test in the morning...

Sorry so many of us are feeling disheartened as the end of the TWW approaches. Fingers crossed that the next week will see good news for lots of us.

@Syncope still no early symptoms! Did an Internet cheapie this morning and a BFN of course. I'm not feeling lucky this month so just going to wait now until AF shows her ugly face! Hope. We get some BFPs on this post this week!
