hi ladies from the old TTC thread, time to start a new one you think? Its gone way past 500!

Right.go on then, a little bit of magic is fun!

am off to Glasto this weds, and aparantly its good luck to run around the stone circle 3 times.

I'm doing it once for myself and some of my TTC buddies, but if you fancy a little of the glasto luck your way... pop your name here!

Treenie - glad you're feeling better!! Sperm can live for up to 5 days so your last few bd sessions should still be in there waiting for the egg anyway so I wouldn't worry! Also I'm sure once a day doesn't make it run out!! Good luck!

Am on cd28 today. But who knows whats going on, might have to give in to the ov tests, but im all confused.

I know what you mean nomoremagnolia, and of course I mean no offence either.

I am really down in the dumps at the moment... never felt so pessimistic in my life. Normally I am the Positivity Princess - but the bubble has burst, tomorrow will be CD1 of Cycle 11 and I just can't see a time when I will be pregnant. It's sad.

ready, as the hippy of wisdom fresh back from glasto, here is a hippy hug and some love. Its really crappy isnt it? Im early days, so can only sympathise my lovely. My poor friend is in your boat too, shes been trying for 18 months and is getting so down and stressed. Im sure it will happen for both of you, its easy to say dont get stressed, but its scientifically proven that stress isnt great for ttc. try some relaxation techniques, yoge, or maybe some running/walking to boost your emotions.

it's kind of like hitting rock bottom though - bad (awful) when you're there, but at least it's the lowest you get and then it gets better.

When do you get your test results? I'm going to docs at 5pm today (eek) and am feeling quite nervous about it!

i feel all confused myself, all crampy,all sicky,so tired, maybe im just knackered form glasto. Maybe AF is on her way tomo. oh i dont know, its all a bit annoying.

Oh Ready and Nomore I feel so sorry for you both. Haven't even been ttc for a month and I'm going off my head with worry and anticipation - must be horrendous a year down the line.
Not having an experience or wisdom to share all I can say is that you've only really explored the natural route (I think?) and there are no so many treatments to help you - IVF etc. This is by no means the end of the road. Waiting is hellish when you want something so badly, but at least your not five years down that road - I know a woman who took 17 years to fall pregnant and spent a fortune on IVF. You are nowhere near that and it's highly unlikely you ever will be.
I don't know if that helps at all but I think it's nice to know people care - even those you don't know i.e. us lot. No matter what you are going through in this ttcing game there is always a woman somewhere who can relate - and she's prob on here somewhere!

I can chat away about the stupidist things and not feel stupid. I can talk about my worries and not feel daft or annoying.

Noone knows im ttc, and i love it that way!

also, can i ask a really gross question about vaginal grossness as i cnat seem to find it anywhere on here.

I know about the sticky stuff meaning ov can anyone tell me the stages of it? pls?

Fi I can't really help you with this I'm afraid as only every had a very small ammount of if it. I suggest googling and you might get pics - ewh I know, but will help.
But remember mucus is not the be all and end all. I would say for you on cd 28 do another test tomorrow and if (and we hope not!) AF does come then keep a very close eye on things next month and note it all down.
Also you have to watch a programme on BBC 3 tonight at 9pm called make me a baby - quite informative last week I found.

in my experience, it took a few months for the pill effects to leave my body. ds1=4 months ttc, ds2 =5 months ttc.

mybe you dont get ewcm? what your getting now is fertile have you checked your cervix, too? if your fertile, it will be high.how are you checking your CM? i find it more effective having a rummage round for it iyswim?

I was told by a friend that its best not to do the deed all the time, as the sperm dilutes ( cant think of a better word!) is this the case? or is sperms at its best potency all the time they ejaculate? sorry sounds so matter of fact, but dont know how else say it!!!

i checked it with my fingers, sorry this is gross i know. Its creamy and exactly like the 1st one described, i only checked it the last few days and its been like this. I mapped my cd from the 1st day of my last period, which wasnt an actual preiod i guess, it was a withdrawal bleed, so this could be the start of things?

koocoo-every 2/3 days is best, for the best sperm!

fifi-i found ov tests stressful. you might not be having a true cyle this time, because its so close to you coming off your pill.you might be though, so keep going! if its like the first one, then you are fertile. get the sperm in there for when an egg comes!you an get the pre-ewcm for about 5 days efore ewcm. some women dont get ewm at all; so then the last day of creamy is fertile.

is that ok?
