A wonderful bunch of ladies supporting each other through the ttc journey when trying for a first baby after 35.

Welcome back @oxted2018 hope you had a fab holiday and af stays away.

Talking of symptom spotting psycho @bambionice80 I have it majorly. Keep swinging from defo getting a bfp tomorrow to af is coming. My rhr on my smart watch has increased over last two days by 7bpm. I have sore boobs some cramps and peeing more... I am convinced (well for now anyway) that I am going to have a very hard crash tomorrow when af shows her head .

Oooh tent baby! Think of the potential safari-related names! He he he! Fingers crossed!

Plans of giving OH a bfp for his 40th serm to be out the window, cramps are here like a kick in the belly, and spotting pretty heavily. Bang on FF prediction. Booo. Oh well bring on the boozy london trip on Wednesday, and cycle 11 ttc.
I had myself pretty convinced for a bfp this week. Felt totally different in the run up to today - had achey boobs, zero cramps, very light brownish pink cm, even bought a new box of Frer tests from anazon. But it obviously wasnt to be.
Was supposed to be going to slimming world tonight. Im off to bed with a cuppa, might see if OH wants to bring some chips home!

@Blondcat @CNizzle I’m with you there. Lots of minor cramps and spotting. I’m convinced it’s on it’s way.... so much so I’m going to hold of testing until later in the week. But they do say the symptoms are so similar for either! So keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you 🤞. Good luck guys and any others 💗😊

Sounds like it could be an exciting week for a few, hope all the mixed signals are erring in the bfp side of things than af side.

I'm in the tww now but my temp hasn't risen to confirm ovulation yet. I wasn't very diligent with my temping this month though so it looks a bit erratic. I have sore boobs though, so that's a good sign my progesterone has risen.

My friends fifth cycle of ivf has failed :( I think they're having one last go.

I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for them to get that news, @79andnotout. One of my dearest friends struggled with infertility for years, through miscarriages, an ectopic, and IVF. They finally were able to have a child via a surrogate and I was over the moon for them.

Urgh, sorry @CNizzle 😰 Looks like I cross-posted with you last night! So sorry AF might be here 💐 At least you can have a guilt free (boozy 🍸) trip to London though...

5 failed cycles of IVF sounds beyond tough @79andnotout 😔 I hope you're friends are OK, whatever they decide to do next.

@Carley32 I've read that brown/pinkish tinged CM on the lead up to AF can be a sign of implantation, but it can obviously also be a sign of just plain old AF or low progesterone too - so why we try and interpret it when preg signs are the same as AF signs is beyond me! 😂 Doesn't stop my inner symptom spotting psycho from trying though 😏

@79andnotout aw life can be cruel at times. I wish them so, so, so much luck for their last try💗 🤞.

@Bambi I know 😂 when you look at it like that there really are no signs of one over the other 🙈😂. I’m sure I’ll soon find out. I am able to test today according to Ovia but I am going to wait until later in the week because I’m pretty sure the cramps only mean one thing.

Morning everyone. So it would appear that I have my bfp hopefully for my rainbow baby. Not even on a frer cheap tesco blue due and wilko pink dye. Equal parts excited and scared at the moment...

That is interesting about the BPM on smart watch. I'm going to give it a go!

I am cramping, a few days early (cycles have been a bit irregular past 3 months so hard to predict AF). It feels like AF coming (poss due sat), but also have a really upset stomach today so might just be that.

I am sitting at work having a sneaky scroll and now with a massive grin on my face @Blondcat - massive congrats! Fingers crossed for you this time. Please stay on thread & keep us posted! ❤️ X

Yeah alright ta @Blondcat. I won’t lie to you, it’s a nerve wracking time. Will you have an early scan? Mine has really helped put my mind at ease, but there’s still an undercurrent of nerves. Statistically, were both going to be fine this time, though! 🤞

Word of warning about the watch. I saw my RHR plummeting on my Fitbit and it’s really stressed me out. I’ve taken it off entirely because it was stressing me out so much.
