August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

@AmyRhodes if the first one is dipped and the second one might not have been done properly then I would definitely trust that very strong line on the first one! Congrats!

Turkey basted me 3 times! Due positive opk today, so will repeat today and tomorrow.

Back still killing me, but I'm not giving up!

Unfortunately I'm out this month. AF arrived today, CD28. According to my app we DTD at the "right" times, but oh well. Will see some of you on September's bus xx

So far BFN but I know it's too early. I'm Far too sensitive to every little feeling in my body thinking it's a symptom. So far I've had stuffy nose, lots of twinging and pinching, headaches, and sore ( . ) ( . ). But yesterday started what can only be IB at this point as there's still almost a full week before AF and it's darker and very light. Feeling hopeful.

Hopefully @KatBeCool. I also enjoyed your boob diagram.

Yup, my OCD pshyco phase is kicking in!

I've got achy pains on the left side, and going by my app I'm 3dpo.
I don't even think I'm that far along, but this month is just one big confusion.

Can you even have implantation at 3dpo?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Was going to sit this one out this month after two chemical pregnancies in a row but 12dpo now so through the worst of the 2WW and feel like I’ve accepted that this is just a month to get back to feeling normal.

Tested yesterday and had maybe a v faint line but also had some red bleeding for a couple of hours so I’m not going to bother again unless af doesn’t show up.

Massive congrats @TheMagicTorch! Remember you from the last bus. Def gives me a little hope

My temp dipped today (1dpo) so FF has adjusted my ov day to today... Managed to DTD again, so I've given it my best shot. Now the TWW really begins!

Oh i now realise it's too early still for implantation, @Wishful30, oops! Maybe oestrogen surge before progesterone kicks in?

Yes, I am wondering. Tho the day it's pinned my ovulation has a dip too.
Unless.... the meds have made me ovulate early and then I have done naturally 2days later.. on time 😳
I had one fully mature follicle one side, and one slightly smaller the other side..

@Wishful30 I really know nothing about medicated cycles, so does that mean it could be twins?! How would you feel about that? Either way, your chart's looking good!

I am a hormonal mess today!! I'm 7dpo, and I have been crying all day, knackered - had to have a nap! All of which can be signs of impending AF! Only 6 days to go, and I know it's ridiculous but I'm already thinking it won't have worked again, I think it's because this time last year I was excitedly in my first tww and here we still are. I need a bit of positive mental attitude!

But Dr Google says..... 🤦🏻‍♀️ in rare cases with medicated ovulation you can ovulate twice 😐 twins are more common but not a greatly high percentage.
I wouldn't be impressed to begin with. I have a spine condition and rheumatism, and live 5 flights of stairs up in a flat, so am hoping for just the one!!

It's my first month off the pill so I know I shouldn't expect miracles.....but it's hard not to! I'm using glow and I started getting flashing smiley faces using clear blue on weds last week exactly as Glow predicted so naturally got all excited that all was going to go well, but then that's been it! I'm still getting the flashing smiley faces but no static ones I was supposed ovulate yesterday, I only tested first thing on Sunday and first thing Monday (both flashing smileys), do you think I could have missed my LH surge or do I just have to accept that I'm only just off BC so I didn't ovulate this month?

Hi @Heidi414! I don’t think it’s unheard of to ovulate first month off the pill but I know for me personally it took the best part of a year to get back to normal - some ovulatory cycles in that time, but some not.
Arm yourself with knowledge and don’t worry if it takes a few months to settle - dr told me up to a year is perfectly normal!

Hi @Spottyyellowdress ! Thank you, I'm just so impatient! I think I will have aged decades from stress by the time I finally get pregnant 😂 i was on BC for over 10 years so I think you're right and I'll just have to be patient with this body of mine

@heidi414 god don’t I know it - I came off the pill about a year before we got married, took a year to get a normal cycle and been ttc for a year since then - never imagined it would all take this long!

Hope I’m wrong and you get lucky straight away!
