August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

No, I've not tested for ovulation! Thought at this stage I might be able to get pregnant without it. But now thinking might be a good idea from next month.

According to my tracker DTD CD10,13 and 16 so what do you think my chances are? I think now it was too early :(

What cycle day are you on @ununpentium ? Did you notice any egg white cervical mucous around that time? It only takes the once and CD16 is a pretty safe bet for a medium cycle length, don’t forget if the cervical mucous is right the sperm can live up to 5 days x

I’m 10dpo and AF is due in 3 or 4 days. I’m convinced she’s on her way, I’ve had lots of AF symptoms and just don’t ‘feel’ pregnant. I’ve had mild cramps since 6dpo

So another symptom to add to the mix, myhusband noticed my areolas seem different (sorry tmi lol). They seem to look like they a spreading out and this happened during my last pregnancy 🤔 🤞🏻 X

That’s interesting. I think mine have too. They look bigger, like a bigger circle IYKWIM. I asked DP what he thought last night and he said ‘hmmm maybe they have a bit’ which means they definitely have, as he is the least observant man ever. I still think it’ll be BFN for me, but I wonder if that’s something that happens every luteal phase. I’ve never paid much attention to it before now.

@Hofty some months my boobs get heavy and sore and that's normal for me pre af not sure about the nipple thing. Why are you so sure your not pregnant? X

@ImpatientMammy we didn’t DTD on my two most fertile days, and I can just feel AF brewing. Hard to explain, just that heavy, mild crampy feeling you get a couple of days before. Sore boobs too, but with the areola thing. Never noticed it before, but it is such a small difference and I wasnt particularly looking before. Oh and I’ve had the usual rage yesterday 4 days before expected AF.

It’s our first cycle too, I know it’s obvious possible to get pregnant on your first cycle, it just seems more unlikely to me for some reason x

they just seem darker and I’ve never noticed this before af!! And normally before af I can’t stop eating but at the min I just don’t fancy anything :/

Only time will tell I suppose 🤞🏻

Ikwym @Hofty, didnt dtd in my most fertile days either.. But they say PMS and Pregnancy symptoms are very similar making it hard to know for sure..

I been having period pains in my leg.. I experience this a few hours before flow every cycle... But ive been feeling it for a few days now. And my boobs are pretty sensitive now.
Not knowing is torture.

Are you gonna test soon or wait for AF??

Just tested on a cheapie, BFN. Which I know doesn’t necessarily mean anything at 10dpo. I’ve got two FRERs but I don’t want to waste them too early. I’m going to wait for AF now.

Waiting for AF to be due here to I'm due Tuesday but normally start through the day so if I'm super lucky I'll test Wednesday morning x

Today is cycle day 25. I did notice a good amount of egg white mucus around day 17!

Fingers crossed for all, symptom second guessing is so tense.

This is my first "official" cycle. Clearly just coming into FW and I am a 50/50 mix of excited/terrified. Keep thinking I am mad to be doing this but will be 31 soon and don't feel like time is ever going to be 100% right.

Also feel a bit daft for feeling like this!

@hofty I’m 10 DPO as well and also due AF on Tuesday. I’ve had that heavy AF feeling like I normally do each month but trying to stay positive. I have a FRER... I was going to try and wait but it’s calling to me! 🙈😂

@CrystalBlaze I think if you weren't scared to create birth and raise a tiny human that's when you'd be crazy!! You've got this xx

@Fae28 what have you tried so far? Are you taking opks, your basal temperature and timing intercourse correctly? Also what birth control were you on before ttc as it can take longer with some types x

@MidwifeMummy161 hi, tracking ovulation via an app and using opk's. But we DTD every other day or every day anyway so i dnt see much point in it. Ive never been on birth control either 🤔

@CrystalBlaze first official cycle here too and like you I’m coming up to 31 (1 month 😭) and thought we had better start trying! OPK tells me ovulation day was today so 2WW begins!!

@Fae28 have you had any investigations yet? Sorry to hear you've had problems, sending you luck.

@sbhf1987 I think we are roughly around the same stage then cycle and life wise! Excited to see what happens

@CrystalBlaze not yet. Although i did get a FSH test from superdrug and they came back ok. We're both going to the gp's soon and thank you ☺☺ gd luck to you too

12dpo bfn. Literally five minutes later, I had a stomach cramp and af has arrived in full force. Has some spotting yesterday but didn’t think I was due yet. Oh well, September bus for me! Good luck ladies if you’re still in the running!
