Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Morning ladies, I hope you don't mind if I hop aboard. We'll be TTC #2 from 10 April (according to the Ovia app!) so I still have another period to get out of the way before that! Question time - are people doing it every day or every other day when TTC? NHS says every other day...but other sources say every day? Any thoughts? Good luck to all in 2WW, sending sticky thoughts xx

Joining the April bus, a very unusual march for me abnormal spotting and cramping. This has never happened before and has thrown my cycle off as it was 5 days early but I'm going to take that I have had AF as I'm not pregnant! Ovia predicting I will ovulate around 1st - 3rd April with Af due 15th.

I had my implant removed at the end of Jan and my cycle seems to have settled down pretty quickly to a 24 day cycle.

Just checking in...on CD11 and got a flashing smiley on a CB digi opk this morning. Hoping not to get a peak til the weekend or at least Thursday as I know DH will be busy at work this week so we won't get much chance to DTD til the weekend! This is cycle 1 and I said I wasn't going to get obsessed but finding it so hard not to!!

@lolacola13 I'm no expert by all means! Haven't tried it yet myself but I think it improves CM so I guess prior to ovulation? Do correct me if I'm wrong though! I also heard pineapple after helps?!

Grapefruit juice is at Tescos and most supermarkets make sure it's not from concentrate I mix it with pure apple or other fruit juices (3/4 gf 1/4 other) just to help taste and then it's a nice drink. I drink a pint a day around fertile week and it defo helps with cm!! X

Came off the pill in December and started properly trying in January. It's my fertile week currently and I'm due to ovulate Thursday so we've had a busy weekend trying and will keep going until this weekend to cover all bases 😬 according to my app I should test 12th April so hopefully I'll have some good news then!

Just been told a close friend is pregnant. Unplanned as she is on the pill. It hit me hard. Feeling like life really isnt fair right now.

@Pob13 sorry to hear that... doesn't mean it won't happen for you though, fingers crossed this is your cycle this month x

@Rach @lolacola I got some from Sainsbury's (100% juice). I'm CD6 so going to start drinking it this afternoon to help with CM.

Hi ladies I'm hoping on the bus too! I'm 36 ttc first child on 1st cycle of ivf after failed iui x4 , just had my ET today they put in 2 blastocysts, will go back for blood test on 4/4/18 for pregnancy result. Fingers crossed and babydust to you all.

We were going to wait to TTC until we'd mortgaged up, but after a hope this month (40 day cycle but using protection) and a feeling massive disappointment after a BFN, we decided to start trying now rather than wait (i've been crazy broody since we got married in October but was trying to be 'sensible').

I'm not massively holding out hope that I'll get a BFP quickly, my BMI is on the high side and DH has a condition that might make things difficult but fingers crossed!

Taking the seven seas pre conception vits and have started swimming 3-4 times per week to help shift a bit of weight. Will wait for a couple of cycles before I crack out the OPKs

Weird one this month - positive opk on cd 16 and then a bit of spotting this morning which I’ve never seen before. Already feeling like af is imminent - I don’t think I’ve ever been so bloated and irritable in my life. Even my knees look fat!!! All stacking up to look like it’s on to cycle 9 I think...

Aloha everyone new that joined there. Ivjust jumped on the grapefruit juice train . Good lord it's tart . Every little helps suppose ! What do u guys recommended for fertility lube some are crazy expensive .

Can someone explain pre seed to me and should i be using it?

@Pob Pre seed is basically a sperm friendly lubricant, it mimics fertile CM (correct pH and all that jazz) Haven't used it myself yet, but have only heard great things about it. Boots I believe stock it!

Currently watching Tom Hardy cuddle dogs - think my ovaries are about to explode. FW starts tomorrow - woop!

@clairehr jealous! I'm cd 5 and fertile window still a week away...I ovulate day 18-20. I am dying with impatience xxxx

Cycle: 1 after MC at 10+2,

We were lucky enough to conceive quickly first time round. We have decided we want to try again right away, got my negative pregnancy test this weekend so unsure if I should wait for AF before we try just due to dates get and me testing every day 10 days from now if not 😂

I'm quite anxious to go through this again (I was bad enough before) so going to need some help staying saneish

@lolacola13 Just keep practising ;) passes the time quite well I've found, haha! The waiting is torture though huh? AF was late last time and it tore me up waiting for her to visit! We're going away this weekend and I should ovulate Sunday. Would be romantic to conceive in the place we met, my energy is going into that 😊

@2018isanewyear Welcome! Love the name by the way! I have had 2 MCs and the first made us realise just how much we wanted it, but jas also made us paranoid with symptom spotting and POAS, so I know how you're feeling. Everyone here super supportive so hopefully we can all keep you sane.... ish
