Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right? Grin

Thankyou @applesauce1 I will keep you posted Grin

clairehr · 24/03/2018 19:01

Hi @Roobles74 and welcome :) No idea about CM either I'm afraid, I'm a self confessed symptom spotter at the best of times so don't allow myself to read up on it any more 😂

Roobles79 · 24/03/2018 19:39

Thanks @clairehr Smile I am starting to get a little bit obsessed with symptom spotting. Blush. My mum says she can't understand why its taking me so long to conceive, she terrified me and my sisters when younger that we would get pregnant at the drop of a hat and little did we know it takes a while and a lot of effort sometimes! I suppose I am older than she was and I don't think she took the pill. It was different back then x

clairehr · 24/03/2018 19:53

Apologies for getting your name wrong Roobles!! I was always terrified too, my mum took me to the doctors for the pill when I was quite young and school drilled it into us too! Little did we know!

TTC is hard! But then I guess when you want something so much it's also harder to be patient!

FrowningFlamingo · 24/03/2018 20:37

Hi, just checking in as was mid AF when I first popped on.
Heading into fertile window shortly but DH and I are both really ill with colds. I think it will be the least romantic sex ever - if we can summon up the energy at all!!
I’m trying to avoid taking day and night nurse as they can dry up the CM but makes me feel so ill I can’t face DTD it’s a bit of a catch 22!!
I’ve been having the grapefruit juice though, diluted with tonic or sparkling water which seems to make it more palatable. DH keeps putting gin in it too which probably isn’t ideal Grin

clairehr · 24/03/2018 21:53

@FrowningFlamingo waves Aww no, I hope you both get better soon! And that you're not too poorly to miss out on your fertile window! Great idea with the grapefruit juice! Hadn't thought of diluting it, will get to the shops tomorrow!

Lauraliverpool · 25/03/2018 08:40

Hopping on too please

Age 37
TTC# 2
Cycle #2
Cycle day 9 according to flo

Came off cerelle January and have been trying properly since February, only been able to input one period on flo so no idea of how accurate it will be. Have bought pree-seed to try as we used conceive plus when we were trying for our son. Have got ovulation tests which so far have been negative so will keep testing each day as no idea when I'll be ovulating. Fingers crossed for an April bfp. Xx

helbel42 · 25/03/2018 10:37

Hi, long time watcher, first time posting. TTC no1, cycle 3, cycle day 3, age 33

Hope it's ok to join! Smile

Stephisaur · 25/03/2018 11:43

Morning ladies, hope we’re all well. Looks like I’m entering my FW as I’ve woken up to EWCM this morning. Typically, DH has decided to be ill lol.

Got a really weird stitch in my pelvis today too, not really sure what that could be but at the doctors Tuesday anyway if it doesn’t go away!

stegosauruslady · 25/03/2018 13:00

Hello! FW DTD is going very well here. Trying to give ourselves the best possible chance of a BFP for our holiday!

I ran a half marathon this morning!

Stephisaur · 25/03/2018 13:11

Wow stegosaurus that’s fab! Was it a race or training? X

stegosauruslady · 25/03/2018 13:44

Stephisaur A race! My second official half, my legs are killing me now.

Stephisaur · 25/03/2018 14:08

Fab! Look after yourself this afternoon then :) xx

EverythingNow · 25/03/2018 16:15

Well done stegosauruslady that’s an epic achievement!!!

I’m 7dpo today, AF due to arrive on Sunday. And now comes the part where I really need to sit on my hands and not start buying tests. Even as I’m writing this I’m thinking of buying them!

I find the FW goes really quickly, the first week of tww goes quickly but from 7dpo-AF it just drags!!!

applesauce1 · 25/03/2018 16:45

Amazing, @stegosauruslady ! I'm so impressed! I did a pathetic 3 laps round a rugby field for sports relief and felt that I might possibly die on the second lap, so I am in total awe of you.

Loving the second dinosaur username on the thread! Hoping that "Life will find a way" for all of us this month.

DH got home from his stag looking like a binbag of margarine. Managed to get pull him out of his booze coma by whispering a sexy story in his ear. He's now back in a boner coma. I accidentally messaged my sister saying, "Mr Apple is home now. Baby mission complete." and sent it in a group message that includes my mum. Oops.

polkadotjersey · 25/03/2018 17:25

Well done @stegosauruslady! I am supposed to be training for a half in May but have been too distracted by TTC plans and house buying to focus on training. Just do better this week!

@applesauce1 You must made me burst out laughing on the train. Congrats on your completed mission Grin

Natural Cycles has me down to ovulate a week on Wednesday but I ovulated give days earlier than it predicted last month (think the Mirena is still affecting my cycle somewhat). Will be temping and CM watching like a hawk this week so we don't miss it!

helbel42 · 25/03/2018 17:34

Yes, well done @stegosauruslady, that's amazing and made me drag myself off the sofa to half heartedly do 20 mins on the cross trainer! Having a terrible AF this month so just want a blanket and large bar of chocolate!

FrowningFlamingo · 25/03/2018 18:16

Thanks clairehr we managed, off the hook until tomorrow Grin it was a welcome distraction from feeling ill to be honest!
Really hoping for some baby dust this month, I feel like cycle six is significant in some way!

Boboelephant · 25/03/2018 21:09

Hi all, can I join please? I was scanning this thread and have been snorting with laughter. I am cracking up at your posts @applesauce1. Another relatively new but now avid cervix checker here and massive over sharer with DH. Lucky him 🤣
Age: 35
TTC #2
Cycle 4 since ERPC. Been trying 18 months and had an EP and MMC
CD 9
Hoping for a Christmas miracle!!

Chocaholic1 · 25/03/2018 21:51

That made me laugh out loud @applesauce1

I’m 4 (ish) dpo today and already climbing the walls don’t know how I’m going to survive the next 10 days.

Bring on the Christmas miracles @boboelephant

DaisyMay25 · 26/03/2018 08:46

Just thinking running makes me wanna nap...

I'm CD21 today (approx 7dpo) af not due for another 8 days and I've started getting cramps, they started last night. I'd like to think it could be implantation cramps but the witch turned up four days early last month. I'm stressing out!

LP17 · 26/03/2018 10:03

Happy Monday everyone!

I'm CD6 today and going out to get some dreaded grapefruit juice at lunchtime. Very impressed with DH who has gone out and got some fresh lemons to drink lemon water every morning & also pomegranate seeds as these are apparently also good for male fertility?!

Fingers crossed for everyone who is already in the 2WW - mine feels like it's forever away!

lolacola13 · 26/03/2018 10:40

Where does one purchase grapefruit juice ?
