Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

@italianwifey Tested this morning so no chance this cycle really. Just feels like AF is sat waiting to surprise me rather than anything else. It's happened every time this year so far, either 1, 2, or 3 days late. Sigh!

@clairehr maybe you're one of those whose pregnant but won't get a BFP until late. After your comment last night I've ordered just folic acid & a b complex vitamin rather then a multivitamin to see if it makes a difference for me.

I'm 95% sure that AF is coming (early, what a treat!!) so at least I'll save money not POAS. Have just downloaded FF app & ordered a BBT thermometer so at least I'll be able to see that I'm actually ovulating. Might take a while to get used to but I guess this is a process that just won't be rushed

@helbel Is it just the stress of trying you think? I used to be soooo regular, both on and off the pill, now it's just silly.

@LP17 wondering if I need to stop taking those vitamins and just take separate supplements too.Might keep an eye on how you get on if you don't mind?!

Yes fingers crossed @helbel42 , I know lots of people who it took 8/9 months so I don't think it's too unusual!

@clairehr my best friend didn't get hers until 3 days after AF due so just wait and see! I hate the waiting though it's so frustrating. I think I'm not really in with a chance as only managed to DTD once before ov... but hey ho! Trying to be more relaxed about it this month to see if that makes a difference....

Definitely crossed my mind @clairehr I just didn't think I was all that stressed! Im obsessive and insane about it don't get me wrong but I just wouldn't have said stress had actually hit yet x

@helbel42 I joined the Natural Cycles BC group on Facebook (for people who are pregnant or TTC using the app) and so my latest insane thing to do is compare my graph to other people's - pointless I know! Everything crossed for you too.

@LP17 I've been tracking my BBT since January and really like how you can use it to detect that ovulation has definitely happened. It gives you the reassurance that you've definitely DTD at the right time.

Latest 'symptom' to add to sore breasts and cramping 7dpo: I went for a 3 mile run yesterday and did 7 miles today and was absolutely knackered after each one, which wouldn't normally happen!

I'm finding the pressure a bit much and think that can definitely have an effect. Poor husband is now feeling the pressure too I think and struggling to perform the past few nights we are in fw and in our fifth cycle of properly trying, not long I know but the past few months we only managed it a few times in fw so maybe not giving it much of a shot? Am also susceptible to cystitis which is a real passion killer. Does thee passion exist when TTC? Very hard to try to keep the flame alive and be spontaneous sometimes. Dh said earlier he wishes we hadn't delayed it as he is worried he is too old. He is 44. Sorry for the downbeat message xx

Have recently started temping too @polkadotjersey, do u leave it in your mouth until it beeps? My temperature has jumped around a bit socnot sure am doing it right!

@Roobles79 Yes, I leave it in until it beeps. If it's jumping around a lot the thermometer might need calibrating. From memory, I took my temperature three times in a row and that seemed to get it working properly. Now I just do it once when I wake up.

@TryingForAges the official advice is every 2-3 days just in case the window moves a little. I think there are a fair few shagathons going on in fertile week (everyday and even twice a day) with the MN lot though!

@clairehr I'll keep you updated - they're arriving tomorrow as I'm fairly sure AF will, so should be able to report back over the next month.

@polkadotjersey which app do you use to keep track, if you don't mind me asking? I've downloaded fertility friend as I've seen a few people on here referring to it...

Does anyone else find that they spend the whole day before af due anxious x

@LP17 I use Natural Cycles and find it very easy to use.

@clairehr I'm in roughly the same boat. 17dpo I believe, no AF, bfn. Good luck to you! I think I'm just stuck with randomly long cycles rather than this being a late showing BFP though.

@Alex2790 I tend to get anxious the day or so before AF as well. Before I was even dtd I would get really anxious think to myself, AF isn't here yet, what if I'm pregnant?! Then obviously AF would show up the next day.

@TryingForAges we roughly do SMEP and as soon as I get a positive opk we dtd for the next 3 days. This month we were on holiday so got a few more in there...but then ovulated late anyway!
@Babybeany too early for me to POAS but I'm definitely symptom spotting! 🤦‍♀️ I hope af has stayed away for you and @LP17.
@helbel42 I'm going to try and wait to test Thursday. I am just getting all the tests now but they didn't refer me until I had been trying for almost a year after losing my tube with an EP rupture. I'd say to keep trying for a bit longer.
@polkadotjersey i also obsessively check my chart although not really sure what is good and what's not!
@Eyedontknow sorry for the long cycles. I hope af stays away! I started seed cycling in an attempt to shorten my cycles. Just Google it, it's pretty easy. It shortened my first cycle by 3 days, this one is looking to be longer again but I think my delayed ovulation was due to holiday. It's all about naturally balancing your hormones.
@clairehr sorry for the bfn and the rubbish waiting.
@Roobles79 do you temp at the same time each day? That can affect temps alot. Also yes the beeping lets you know it's finished so try and not move until it beeps.

@Eyedontknow Its so frustrating isn't it?! Especially when it definitely doesn't feel like it's going to be a BFP either, just waiting for AF to rear her head. I went and bought tampons, chocolate, and wine from the shops today ready. Cashier looked at me like 🙄 haha!

Okay really need your opinions!! I’m CD22, no idea when or if I’ve actually ovulated at all this month, getting super positive OPK’s still and now I feel like I can see a faint line on this hpt but at the same time I don’t think it’s possible? Idk what’s happening. This is beyond confusing!! Any advice is appreciated very much

@hayleyfx I think I can see it too! Do you have an FRER? Your OPKs may be picking up HCG 😊

Omg thank you all! 😀 had a MC in December and a chemical pregnancy last month so I’m incredibly nervous to test again! Fingers crossed it sticks 🤞
