Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right? Grin

Hi @2018isanewyear I'm in exactly the same position as you - MMC at 9.5 weeks and then finally got my BFN today. I've no idea what's going on with my body - when I'll ovulate or when to expect AF etc. Have been using CB OPKs and have had 5 days (!) worth of flashing smileys so hoping to get a static smiley soon. My app seems to think I'll ovulate in the next couple of days but I imagine that might be based on my last cycle (regular) when I imagine this cycle will be anything but. We've been trying this week as I decided to just go for it but this waiting for ovulation is driving me pretty insane!

applesauce1 · 26/03/2018 23:15

Welcome to the bus everyone!

And ... tumpet fanfare I have cystitis! That usual post coital bathroom scuttle to perform a jizz evacuation and a pee has been replaced by legs in the air for 10 mins. It was always going to happen I suppose...

Anyone else experiencing this?

Welcome to everyone jumping aboard. I love that there are so many of us supporting each other! Obviously I'd prefer to see BFPs, but I'll take any positives right now!

Aph413 · 27/03/2018 10:14

I might as well join here since I still don't kniw what my cycles are doing. FF app currently suggesting my cycle is 60 days which would leave me in May. However I've been getting a lot of ewcm the last 2 days so fingers crossed things are returning to normal for me.

TTC: #1
Cycle: #4 (month 7)
CD14
BFP? Could be 13th April or the 13th May. When it gets to the 13th I guess I'll know.

Eyedontknow · 27/03/2018 14:45

Hi, can I join as well?
TTC #1. Cycle 2. CD25.

According to my app, my FW is 23-28 March, we have dtd on 22 and 25, and from the 26 I have had light bleeding/spotting which is unusual. Anyone know if it's possible this is implantation bleeding or most likely due to dtd? I thought it was a result of dtd but it's gone on for 2 days now. Hmm Confused

I have abnormal cycles and OD has been anywhere from CD 19-47, but has frequently been on CD21.

clairehr · 27/03/2018 20:19

How is everyone this evening?

And a big welcome to all recent joiners!

I have unfortunately had to attend a funeral today so not feeling up to much today DTD-wise. How does everyone get in the mood if they're just not up for it? Or, do you sometimes just let some days go and make up for the next day (like me)?

DaisyMay25 · 27/03/2018 20:22

Hi @clairehr sorry you've had a bad day. I don't blame you not wanting to DTD. I don't think I ever get in the mood just see it as a job I think. We gave up DTD this month on CD 16 due to the antibiotics I was on giving me thrush (so so annoying) making up for it the day after is always a good shout! Unless you're too tired

Chel1888 · 27/03/2018 20:29

Hi everyone. Anyone else on the tww now? Im on 3dpo i think!? And got some weird CM today very white, thick and creamy.. sorry tmi lol. I was like what the hell is this. Pretty sure i dont usually get that so hoping its a good sign! fingers toes crossed.
sorry about the cystitus @applesauce1 bet thats horrible.
@clairehr to get in the mood i kind of just start getting him in the mood and i get into it haha

clairehr · 27/03/2018 20:31

@DaisyMay25 Oh thrush is so frustrating! Hope it clears up for next cycle should you need it!

Glad I'm not the only one who just lets some days pass if it's too much! I normally get in the mood as it seems to help. Definitely giving today a miss and moving on with enthusiasm tomorrow :)

Rumblemumble · 27/03/2018 20:40

I’m currently 8dpo and having to sit on my hands to avoid getting the cheapie tests out! Going to hold out until the weekend I think. Does anyone manage to just wait until AF is due to test? If so tell me how!

Chel1888 · 27/03/2018 20:47

@rumblemumble im going to make sure i wait until the day after af is due if it doesnt come. i feel im going to have to sit on m hands too!

EverythingNow · 27/03/2018 20:48

Evening everyone! Hi @mimilicious hope you’re ok lovely!
@clairehr, sorry about your day I don’t blame you not wanting to dtd.

chel1888 I’m in the tww too, 9dpo today......

..... and I caved and bought a test from Sainsbury’s today!! I don’t know why it’s a) too early b) they’re not very sensitive and c) blue dye so of course I can see a shadow of a line! (Not a real one I’m sure!) but it was only £3.50.

It’s like an obsession!

applesauce1 sorry to hear of your cystitis, I get regular bouts, which ramped up to monthly when ttc this time. Cutting out sugar and some alcohols has I think helped, that and washing and weeing before and after sex! Miserable tho!

clairehr · 27/03/2018 20:59

I'm a self confessed POAS addict and symptom spotter. Been really good recently and waiting until AF, or until she's due (late this last time).

Mimilicious013 · 27/03/2018 22:35

evening ladies and hello fellow newbies
@clairehr, sorry you have had a bad day.one day break is okay in my books as long as you jump on your oh tomorrow.
waves @everythingnow, was wondering how you were doing hun?another faint line, fx it's the start of a good bfp

Mimilicious013 · 27/03/2018 22:45

hie @daisymay and @PasstheafterEights how are you?
hope you are getting busy tonight @bubblybit and gl on catching the egg.
good luck to all those in the tww ((it's the most stressful part of ttc)) .well dh will only be back tomorrow so we will only have 2 days before ov

LP17 · 28/03/2018 10:11

Hi all!

Just checking in. I'm CD8 & we have agreed to try SMEP so tonight will be the first night on the plan. Also I have discovered it's best to drink the grapefruit juice a few hours before DTD as this makes it the most effective? Which is good because I had it with breakfast yesterday and it was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

Got my first 'baby bomb' yesterday - my friend is due in Oct. Very, very happy for her as she had an MC at 11 weeks last year. But at the same time, felt a tiny bit sad for myself as she is a good friend and it would be wonderful to be pregnant around the same time as her. Does anyone else have any friends that they think it would be good to be pregnant at the same time as? Am I the only person who has such weird, forward planning thoughts?!

stackhead · 28/03/2018 11:57

@LP17 I think it would be lovely to pregnant at the same time as any of my friends, it's a shame that me and DH are the only ones (that we know of) TTC - no one else has even indicated that they're close to being ready for babies!

Deffo not the only one with forward planning thoughts!

DaisyMay25 · 28/03/2018 12:14

Hi @Mimilicious013 did you take a nice break from TTC? I'm good although was hoping I wouldn't be on anymore buses by now. How're you doing?

Mimilicious013 · 28/03/2018 13:26

I enjoyed the short break @DaisyMay25, thanks. but deep down l hoped for a sneaky bfp and sadly nothing. so sorry you are still around too hun. hope no more spotting for and everything crossed it's our month . our last chance of 2018 babies
