Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

BFP due...hard to tell cos of irregular cycles, but AF probably due somewhere around 8-11th April (based on the last few cycles).

heh heh, what a wish! Sadly, no DTD for us today - I'm 180 miles away from other half until Wednesday. However, with my (very variable) cycle length, ovulation is usually around day 19-25, so hopefully we'll catch it this time around! There will deffo be much DTDing from Wednesday onwards...some positives to this TTC malarkey. We were spot on last month, but sadly no sticky bean, but hopefully this month will be a winner!

Realised I also forgot a whole bunch of info from my initial post...am 32 and we're on cycle no. 3 :)

oh, and @polkadotjersey - that's very much my OH's preferred strategy. He's loving the whole TTC at the moment, and it's (thus far at least...) proven to be pretty good for our sex life, which has actually been really nice.

AF due somewhere around 6-10th April (cycles not regular).

I've been using opks for 3 cycles (inc this cycle) & just started temping this cycle.
I got pg v quickly with my first 2, as well as with a mc just over a year ago, so don't know why it's taking so long this time...

It is sexy pants central here from now on, DP is (sadly!) less keen on having all of the sex all of the time than I am but I have ways of increasing his enthusiasm. Currently (we are both not working today) lounging around before my run in all black skin tight running gear...usually results in sexy time later!

Used OPK this month and got a smiley on CD 12, then have had 2 days of temp rise.

@stegosauruslady my DH isn't as keen as me for the copious amounts of sex. Last month, we DTD every day for 2 weeks, then because exhausted (thinking I'd already ovulated) and gave up to wait for AF. Turns out, I had a super long cycle and ovulated the week after we stopped drying. Doh.
This month, we're DTD every other day until AF or BFP

Going out for my best friends party on saturday so should definitely be dtd after a few drinks hopefully! lol x

@Chel1888 do you have a long cycle too? My app Glo seems to think that although I'm ovulating on Saturday (I'm taking my temp this week so should know either way), we have the highest chance of conception if we bone on Friday. This is just as well as DH is away on a stag weekend on Saturday. However, I despise a morning shag before work as I always have anxiety that I smell of sex even if I have a shower... the things we do when TTC!

@applesauce1 hahaha i know what u mean, im sure u dont though lol. no i have a 28 day cycle usually. We are the same ovulation date according to my apps and same AF date. fingers crossed we get BFP's!

Hi all! AF reared her head today - 3 days late after getting my hopes up! This is cycle 4 after 2 miscarriages last year, hoping our next to be sticky!

BFP due 16th April (my parents Anniversary and a year since we found out we were pregnant first time around!) With my fertile window falling over my birthday - all positive signs for us, so fingers crossed.

@clairhr I've seen a lot of messages saying it can improve your CM to help the sperm on their way. I hope it works, no idea on the reasoning behind it though 😂

@Chel1888 hadn't heard that one! At this point (only our 3rd cycle - CD1 today in fact but I had a long 2WW and drove myself insane) I don't think I'd care what I have. I also thought I'd have the luxury of picking & choosing which months to TTC...now I've realised how difficult it can be I feel like an idiot for not starting sooner and will be cracking on until we get a BFP. Hopefully with the aid of grapefruit juice!

Isn't it awful when you're at a hotel or similar, and there are jugs of juice out for a continental breakfast, and you get a nice big class or pineapple juice, and you gulp down your first sip and.... it's grapefruit juice, and your eyes nearly fall out from the dreadful bitterness of it.

RE increasing chances of a girl, I heard that sperms carrying the female equipment are slower swimmers, but last longer. Male sperms swim fast but die young. Therefore, if you dtd on the day of ovulation, more chance of a boy, and if you dtd before ovulation, more chance of a girl. It worked for one of my friends. Very scientific.

I heard that vitamin c taken by a potential father increases chances of conception. Is this true? My DH asked me to pick some up for him yesterday to make his sperms more 'spermy'.

I love this Grapefruit theory - I currently have some sat on my desk at work - can't even DTD until a few days time, but no harm in prepping!

Jumping on after AF arrived today after being 3 days late. 3 days of false hope. Currently feeling very sorry for myself.
