Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Tested this morning on a frer, bfn. Apps had predicted AF for Sunday or Monday, so I must have just ovulated much later and this is just another longer cycle (already on CD42!). Hoping it means we just didn't DTD at the right time rather than any other underlying issues.
Another positive note is it's recommended you take folic acid for 3 months before conceiving and this concludes my 3rd month of taking it.

@babybeany FRER'd this morning and BFN, bit miserable. Last FRER tomorrow am, if another blank I'll wait out for AF/POthe cheapies :(

@boboelephant not sure but I bet there'd be something; bloods are supposed to be a lot clearer than widdle?? Fx for tomorrow babe x

Sorry to those whose witch has turned up today. FX for this cycle! Just bought an FRER, will take it Monday if AF doesn't rear her head this weekend, but I'm not feeling positive at all, especially with BFN yesterday on IC and no feelings of anything stirring.

Think we'll be skipping next cycle too as due date would be too close to step-son and ex-wife's birthdays

@Passtheaftereights it is a bummer, isn't it? I have one more frer, but hesitant to use it tomorrow. Probably will wait until the end of next week.
@boboelephant the last time we dtd is now outside what would be fw if AF was due today, how long would late implantation take to show up on a hpt? Was planning on treating myself to some this weekend

@Eyedontknow hmm if you didn't dtd during fw then you unfortunately probably didn't catch. Hard to say though without knowing when you ovulated and when you dtd. It's just that as implantation can happen between days 6 and 12 post ovulation and then can take a few more days for the hcg to build to read on a hpt. So that's why some people can get a bfp at 9dpo and some not until 15dpo. See what I mean? Either way definitely treat yourself to the 🍷! Bubs wont get any of that until you're about 6 weeks along and the placenta has developed.

@PassTheAfterEights sorry for your bfn. I reckon it’s a little too early to tell yet though. Best advice is to enjoy a vino whilst you still can. It’s the weekend! Maybe enjoy it and then test again Monday? Let me know what you decided xx

11DPO and now got brown discharge. Anyone with a BFP under the belt whose had implantation bleeding able to say whether or not this is ok/normal? Otherwise AF is 5 days early and I'm delusional again.

I have bought some tests though (they are upstairs taunting me from the top cupboard) eeeeek

I got ovulation wrong, I’m actually ovulating today (cd20) it’s so late because of the chemical last month I’m guessing. Couldn’t dtd tonight and haven’t for the past 3 days either but my OH’s crohn’s was playing up so I can’t blame him, didn’t want him being sick on me! 🤣 Counting myself out for this month now but already getting excited for May, thinking of getting preseed!
@bubblybrit so sorry that af got you! Next month will hopefully bring better news for us 😊

@Sammy900 hope you're just too early! It's not over until AF arrives.
@PassTheAfterEights no AF isn't due til Wednesday but the pain in my boobs has pretty much gone and I had some cramping yesterday with brown discharge or whatever

@LP17 don't want to get your hopes up but that sounds like implantation and on the boobs thing, mine only hurt ahead of AF - with BFP have no pain and only fractional heightened sensitivity. Don't lose heart anyway x

@PassTheAfterEights thank you. This is our 3rd cycle trying and we don't have any children so nothing to compare it to. I'm 12DPO today and hoping to wait until AF is missed before testing (my husband has locked the tests away ). Fx!

@LP17 mine's the same, takes a lot for him to believe a line now too. We're three cycles post MC having been trying since Dec so not a wealth of experience but defo think it sounds like you might yet have good news - I get the cramps either way but they were more like pings and pulls and twinges ahead of BFP than more dispersed AF type pain, and my boobs seem to be the reverse of the norm, very sensitive to progesterone and not at all to hcg. You're a day behind me and I have a ghost on a FRER this morning so fx you will be in luck next week!

Cycle 2 (it's actually been longer but we timed things completely wrong so i've discounted few months
CD 4
BFP due 24/4

We sadly had a miscarriage in February and it took a while for my body to recover from it so this is first month of trying after AF after MC. We've been using ovulation tests. Anyone else?

Nice to see some familiar faces on here waves hoping this is a lucky month for everyone.

@PassTheAfterEights thank you for trying to keep me upbeat. However AF cramping has started this morning now too. Gutted! Really wanted a baby this year. Sorry to hear about your mc. We mmc’d last July and have been trying since. I am really regretting being on the pill for as long as I was. ☹️ Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone 🤞 x
