Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

I'm going to test on Sunday (15th) which will be 6 days before AF is due. It is also our wedding anniversary so that would be AMAZING!!!

I don't believe in superstitions/bad juju but equally I am a bit worried?! But I know it would be such a lovely way to tell him...

@Sammy900 if still no AF tomorrow, then I'll test Thursday.

Whenever I do decide to test, I'm predicting I'll get AF within hours of getting a bfn that's how it usually goes, at least.

Well hoping its not the same this time for you....I know what you mean - usually I dont even get the pleasure of hoping for a bfp as cruelly I start af the day I'm meant to test - and I'm at work waiting to test when I get home or something and the witch shows

I might set my expected af date as two days before (and trick myself into having some excitement) as I'm too good at predicting the precise day! :)

I have what feels like period cramps tonight, more on the right hand side but not sharp like ovulation. Just exactly like a tight squeeze. Not sure what that is about but I would be over a week earlier if I did come on?!

This is a bit odd & a bit tmi sorry!

I’ve just been for a wee and when I wiped there was a tiny amount of pink in the ewcm, so I checked my cervix and there was definite red blood there. But I’m CD9, and had negative opk today.

The exact same thing happened last month on CD9, lots of ewcm, spotting and but no positive opk until cd13.

Any ideas what it could be? Seems a bit early for ovulation spotting but odd that it’s happened twice in a row.

@Owlpatrol sorry tmi but it always comes out with me! Even with a 15 minute hip tilt! 😂 I don’t think there’s too much to worry about x

@Everythingnow I have had the same. Sometimes your cervix can be soft and get a little too much impact (uuh hummm!! 😂). If it keeps happening then make an appointment with your gp. X

@owlpatrol & @babybeany me too. A while ago there was a thread in the sex bit about feeling the 'stuff' come down the following day! How is that possible?! Did they not move (wee) for 24 hours?!

Anyway like someone said; it only takes one. I like to think there is one super sperm that has shot ahead of the others.

Thanks @Boboelephant - I'm good. Tested, BFN. Think I've got dates wrong slightly, but think that means also missed FW. Ah well...next month, more shagging 😂

@Sammy900 - am trying not to, and convince myself they are just AF symptoms I never noticed before...

@Pob13 - I notice, ahem, leakage the next morning. Not, like, substantially, but enough...never been a fan of it. Where does it hide?!

@bubblybrit. I'm good :-) I'm only cd12 so I could have another 20 odd days left until I'm anywhere near testing lol. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you though x x

@owlpatrol - what position did you finish in? I sometimes find that if my DH finishes on top then more seems to come out. You have to think though, literally as soon as your DH finishes, those little guys are heading straight to where they need to be, within seconds, they come out at a great speed force, like when you sneeze lol.

@LookingAtTheStars89. Thanks. AF due today so fingers crossed that she doesn’t show. Haven’t taken any test as yet as wanted to wait until af due this month. It’s annoying when you test early and get a bfn but think ‘ah well it’s probably because I tested too early!’ Makes the arrival of af even more painful.

@owlpatrol I was worried about this a couple of months back, but I've read in a couple of places that if there's leakage then it just means there was plenty of... stuff and it's just the hmmm excess! So... good work Mr Owl Patrol I'd say 😂

How's everyone doing?

I was a bit worried for an involuntary cycle this time as I haven't had a clear positive opk so I'm going to test again today but I'm cycle day 15 so I don't usually ovulate this late. I think I just missed the surge unless I haven't ovulated this cycle which would be rare but I've got my day 21 blood test next week so I'll find out anyway this time

@owlpatrol I usually manage to miss my surge, I think it must be early early morning or late night as when I'm close I test twice, but very rarely catch it! Although stress could be delaying O day of course too!

I'm currently day cd23 10dpo and awaiting AF on Saturday/Sunday. I really don't feel positive this cycle though, not even any real feelings of AF making her way let alone a BFP.

AF turned up this morning, so that's me out again this month fo sho. Thanks for the support, and maybe see some of you (but hopefully not all of you!) on the may bus :)

@PassTheAfterEights how are you doing? Any symptom spotting? I woke up at 4:30 this morning feeling slightly nauseous with slight heartburn. Although I drank 4 glasses of wine last night so it is probably just a small hangover?!

Thaks for the feedback on temping. Started temping today let's see how that goes. CD 10 today. Gonna have to get on that BD train tonight! Not really keeping much a mystery to hubby, thermometers, sperm friendly lube and mumsnet chats

@boboelephant hahahaha a lie down with pants on 😂 taken it easy for the last week, both LOVING the effects of normal human hormones after about 15 years on the pill though! Literally feel like a teenager! Won't be going back to Yasmin even if we do ever manage to sprog. Eek roll on your scan, really hope they do find a surprise bean in there!

@babybeany good on you, you'll have @sammy900 to hh on sat! If you do go for FRER they're cheapest in the double pack on Amazon, about £3.50/each, still spenny but trustworthy. Predictable BFN on this morning's cheapie but not reading into it, too early. Relief to POAS!

Hope the heartburn eases - had a couple of days of cramps, might be implantation but I had them the last two cycles too so again not reading into it. Now just a heavy feeling, faint back ache - this time the last two cycles I had raging sore and huge boobs and bad backache so maybe good news, maybe too soon to tell. Before my BFP had very vivid and disturbing dreams, a tugging sensation in uterus and no discernible change to boobs, and a line on a FRER at 9/10dpo, so the next couple of days will be interesting!

Well I think I might be out this month 😢 Af due today although not arrived as yet....DH wanted me to test before he had to leave for a few days for work. BFN on a FRER. Don’t think I got my dates wrong as got a static smiley on clearblue so know that we dtd at the right time. Bit gutted to be honest. I have my birthday lunch on Sunday with all my family and was already thinking about ways to announce the pregnancy. Ridiculous I know!! DH has now left to catch his flight. So sitting on my own feeling very sorry for myself and cross for getting my hopes us!

awww, sorry @bubblybrit, that sounds rubbish. I keep catching myself fantasising how I'll tell the OH. Trying to make myself stop as we're only 3 cycles into this, and i'll drive myself crazy by the time it actually happens at this rate!

I’m sorry af got you as well @flyingplum. I am only 5 cycles in. Think I just feel a bit stressed as I’ll be 34 on my birthday and we are ttc#1. Sick of everyone saying ‘oh you are 34 soon - are you planning to have a family/you better get a move on before it’s too late’. It’s really depressing so now I feel as if my time has passed and I’ll never have a baby. Which I know in reality is ridiculous but just feeling a bit low.
