Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

I’m trying my hardest to stay positive for this cycle. However I am starting my monthly break out on my face a week before af is due. Don’t think a Christmas Day baby is on the cards for us x

Congratulations @applesauce1 that is fantastic you must be over the moon!! Baby apple is on its way . Have just caught up on all the convo, hope everyone is doing OK x I had AF in the end so trying the every other day business this month and will see how that goes. Currently cd8 am going to also try temping this month I think too. Anyone else with me?

Evening ladies,

5days till AF is due, feeling the usual AF symptoms of feeling miserable, got a strange feeling in lower abdo, not cramping or twitches but the feeling AF will soon arrive, bigger boobs but not sore. 😔 CD20, I only have 24 day cycles., I did a test yesterday which was negative and with my AF symptoms I'm 99.99% sure I'm not pregnant this cycle 😞

I've got some cheap Ovulation test strips in from amazon ready for after AF arrival, not sure how they work though. Is it you get a couple positive days then you should ovulate the next day? I've seen some people on here use ones with smiley faces?? Are they better?

Good luck to all those still waiting on AF not to arrive and fx for the next cycle of those that have had AF arrive. X

@Roobles79 I'm temping and really enjoying it weirdly!! It's quite nice if you see a pattern and kind of reassuring that things are happening like they should!

Af due on the 26th for me...trying to stay positive but only managed to dtd once so far this cycle

@Roobles79 I temped when we were ttcing DS and liked seeing the pattern and confirmation of ovulation. I'd do it again but DS doesn't sleep too reliably so Im not sure how well it would work however if we don't get lucky after 3/4 cycles I probably will try temping again and hopefully DS will be sleeping better!

CD26 and 7dpo but having backache so assuming that AF will be on her way soonish. Think my LP may be short at the moment, hoping it will lengthen out in a few cycles given this is on my first cycle after having had DS & stopping bf.

I'm on cd 19 but not had my temp spike for ov yet so naturalcycles keeps pushing my ov date back, I've had 3 days of positive opks so not sure what's going on. Dh is knackered bless him but I'm on a mission this cycle, just hope I actually ov!

@hatethesnow yes that's basically it. The smiley faces are the clearblue ones that are a lot more expensive but supposed to be more reliable / clear.

I’m due AF on 28th. And FW (according to Glow) starts again today.

I’ve got the thermometer by my bed but I fail to use it every single morning! Is it too late to start tomorrow for this cycle?

Me too @Owlpatrol , think that's my date for AF with my weird short cycles!

@EverythingNow I don't think too late - you could have missed ovulation but maybe not and either way I found it really helped me to figure out my cycle a bit and tell if I'm ovulating or not - I don't think I did the first cycle as it was all over the place!

@Roobles79 I keep trying to temp but forget! It's too hard to remember every morning and to do it at the same time!! Going to try really hard this month tho!
Also trying to dtd every other day for the 2 weeks I could be fertile!

Thanks @Rach0110, I'm due on the day before you and @Owlpatrol so fingers crossed back at you! Got a negative opk this morning so I'm suspecting I've not ovulated but still trying to go into the tww positivity and will be peeing on all the sticks I can get my hands on in a week or so! Just hoping something went wrong with my temping.

I put my thermometer on my phone as it's my alarm so pick them both up in the morning to switch alarm off, works for me so hope it might help someone x

@rach0110, I’m cd 9 today and have been having positive opks around cd13 on average but I’ve had the odd cycle where I’ve got a positive cd10/11 Yesterday’s were negative (unsurprisingly) so hopefully I have a few more days til O.

Very definite BFN on a frer this morning. either my period is just playing silly buggers and is late, or I miscalculated OD this month and so AF isn't actually due yet and so am testing too early. But if i miscalculated OD, then there was no DTD at the right time, so ho hum. Ah well, looks like i'll be able to get nice and pissed on my birthday at least :D

Oh @EverythingNow I would deffo start temping then, for some reason I thought you were later along! Can't hurt I guess!

@helbel42 you never know about o - it could just be that you are going to o a bit later this month! Hopefully it happens soon :-) I hate the waiting! Dreaded 2ww coming up for me soon but not feeling too positive this month as I was away for the weekend so only managed to BD yesterday then hopefully today and tomorrow....

Very possible, just odd I got 3 positive opks and then a negative today, but who knows! Natural cycles is predicting it today and glow says it was yesterday but with a message that my temps didn't vary enough. Those highly fertile days are tricky to pin down, think I've got it and then everything moves! x

@Rach0110 very hard to stay positive, I'm up and down every month, but sounds like you are in with a good shot! x

@helbel42 ah okay so are you just waiting for your temps to rise? You never know, some people just have a longer cycle! I'm not feeling too hopeful about this month but we will see! I'm trying to look on the positive that at least if I'm not pregnant by July I can enjoy myself on holiday!!

Yes, and it wouldn't be the latest ovulation day I've had if it's in the next days or so but I'm just confused by the positive Opks, three days in a row x

July holiday is definitely something to look forward to! We've got one next month, should be during fertile week too, can't wait x

Is it mad to be looking at cute ways to tell DH I'm pregnant when I don't think I am? I want to buy a babygrow that has an 'in joke' for us on it that I know would be such s sweet way to tell him... but what if I never fall pregnant?

@JustLikeTheySaid I do the same!! Every month for 5 months during the TWW I've been on Pinterest looking at cute ways to tell DH and parents! Just got to keep hopeful and positive. Defo have the same fear of what if it never happened, I think that's normal! X

I feel like I should be prepared in advance because I would want to tell him straight away and not have to wait for delivery... But then is it very bad juju to have a babygrow waiting somewhere, hidden just in case?
