Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Ugh. Flo just changed my predicted ov day from Tuesday (CD17) to yesterday (CD15) and based on other symptoms (massively sore boobs and EWCM) I'd have to agree. Gave up on OPKs after one too many pee covered hands... need to get better at peeing in a pot, or get a bigger pot!

So my first TWW starts today although very little hope as we only DTD on CD13... was hoping for a few extra days to try when DH wasn't working!

Congrats to everyone with their BFPs (I always read it as big 'fucking' positive :-D )

I'm out, AF yesterday. Cycle was only 23 days, worried that it's actually too short.

Thanks @Mimilicious013. No sign of AF yet, but that means nothing to my PCOSy body. Going to pick up a FRER today when I'm in town and will test tomorrow morning if she's not materialised today. Not hopeful though. My boobs have gone down a bit today so looks like progesterone is falling in prep for the flood...

@Chel1888 - just saw your post. That's poo, sorry for the evil blue line of hope :(

@stackhead I was messing around with Ovia and put that I had ovulated earlier than it guessed just to see what my cycle would look like, but then it wouldn't go back to the original predictions until I changed my average cycle length. These apps are frustrating sometimes.

@flyingplum - I'm PCOSy as well. I usually get sore boobs around OD that last until AF, but I've just gotten them now (12dpo?). So either OD was later than I thought or my symptoms change every month. I just never know when to POAS.

@Eyedontknow - for me AF is usually (9 times out of 10) a clear 15 days after EWCM, which would be today. No sign as yet. Boobs are super achy and I have a lot of thin, white CM, but no AF. Even with generally a clear luteal phase, it's still hard to know for sure whether a negative is actually negative, or just too early. Though, if OD wasn't the day I thought it was, I think we missed our chance this month anyway cos I was away at a conference.

6dpo and have got lower backache and some abdominal twinges so assuming that AF is going to show some point soon, which will mean my LP is really short...it used to only be 10-11 days pre DS but given the back ache it looks like it may have shortened even more 😞

Well the dr was lovely albeit the quickest appointment ever....sending me for bloods. We don't qualify for ivf unfortunately if it ever came to it so feeling a bit down about that even though I know that is a long way off. Should be ovulating next couple of days so fx for this month anyway!

@owl can i ask why you dont qualify for ivf? Obviously you dont have to answer.

Hi ladies! I’ve been a bit quiet on the April bus recently. I feel like it can make me even crazier than normal sometimes! Just a quick one for you all, I broke my wrist on the snow 5 weeks ago. I got taken out of plaster today and I mentioned to the dr before my X-ray that I could potentially be pregnant. He said that was fine and X-ray’d me regardless. What are your expert thoughts?

Was a bit naughty last month and went to doctors, lied and said I'd been trying for a year and not conceived yet. The idea was to put my mind at rest but unfortunately I've been told I have adenomyosis. Can't see the doctor for another week and am driving myself crazy on google.
Has anyone heard of adenomyosis or know of anyone who has successfully had a baby with this?

@MrsD7 that is horrid news! I don’t know too much about your condition. I just googled it. Hopefully you’re not in too much discomfort? There didn’t seem to be a clear view as to chances of fertility on line. What has the dr said? What is your appointment next week for? Big squeezes x

Thanks @Babybeany! Doctor has said very little. Called last week and said they couldn't see me for 2 weeks and it's nothing urgent. Obviously my brain is in overdrive now though internet searching and worrying!!
Can't seem to find anything either way on infertility and adenomyosis and I have none of the symptoms so it's a complete shock for me!
Just got to keep trying I guess!! Tests did at least confirm I'm ovulating normally so that's one good thing!

@MrsD7 the fact that you don’t suffer any symptoms must be a good sign. 😊 If the dr said it’s nothing urgent over the phone then I’d see that as a positive too. Stay in touch. I’m on cd20 atm. Holding my breath!! Aarrggghhhh!!!! X

@mimilicious013 feel bad for my pity party now, sorry to rant! Was a grim few weeks, living in a barn surrounded by DH fam just got to me yesterday 😔 we managed to DTD x5 in 4 days pre-ov (have since read this is too much 🙄), mainly in fits of laughter at how achey and knackered we were! How are you feeling today, hope still relaxed - any news?

Hope today went well @owlpatrol & really sorry to read that @mrsd7 quick google looks as though most cases aren't TTC impacting, everything crossed for a good outcome x

@clairehr had the same last month, dull almost burning sensation from ovulation to AF (not a UTI i promise) and boobs were huuuuge and super sore - was certain that was it but not even a hint of a line.

CD21 here, will POA cheapie Wednesday & crack a FRER Thursday. Was full of try-again beans for two cycles post chemical but this month strangely flat and unhopeful.

Dr couldn't tell me much until results back I guess we don't qualify for ivf as dh has previous dc from previous so I'm super sad because that was her!? What about me!?

@MrsD7 sorry to hear about your diagnosis, hopefully the dr can give you some more info when you see them.

@Babybeany I think you just have to trust them re x Ray. If he felt you needed one then I'd have followed his advice too.

@Owlpatrol. I'm glad they agreed to do your bloods but it sucks that you don't qualify for IVF because another woman has already had a baby what about you? Yet another dumb cost cutting exercise!!

@LookingAtTheStars89 I know I haven't even told dh yet I'm sort of preparing myself to tell him this evening but it's totally unfair. Obviously we could go private...after a few years of saving! That said I'm quietly optimistic im glad im finally doing something about it and also the dr was good I feel l can put my trust in her which is a weight off my shoulders now. I love how they are so positive though and she was like oh I'm sure it'll happen naturally anyway... anyhow positive for this cycle anyway!
