Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Soooo... just had a little cry to myself locked in the bathroom this morning (I'm going to blame hormones). OH told me all about the dream he had when he woke up this morning; us, in a new house, with a full babied-up pram; and then turned to me all wide eyed (you know how they do!) and said "I REALLY want to make a baby". Think my heart broke a bit. So scared I can't give him what he wants. Anyone else have major down days sometimes?

@applesauce1 to me they all look like good lines to me. I've only had an evap on an ic once all the other times were pure white so I think a deffo congratulations is in order!

@clairehr yeah all the times hun. Sending massive hugs.

@clarehr Sorry you’ve been feeling rubbish too...I’ve been exactly the same this month, just couldn’t stop crying yesterday. I hope you’re feeling loads better soon...as lots of other people here said, be kind to yourself, nothing is your ‘fault’ and sometimes, it just takes time.

@Pob13 and @Chel1888 - I read somewhere in a diff thread that the deal with the rings is to give the camera something to focus on.

@clairehr - argh, sorry dude. Don't put all the responsibility on yourself though. Us women immediately assume there's something 'wrong' with us. It isn't necessarily.

@clairehr Claire, I'm so sorry that you're feeling so tortured. There's so much pressure to get pregnant. When you get to a certain age, people keep giving you sideways looks, wondering why you are making this strange choice to not have a baby yet.

I solemnly think that the stories we are told as teenagers that a particularly sexual look from that no good young man will get you knocked up with twins immediately has a lot to do with the pressure and expectation that comes with conception when you're actually ready.

Please share how you're feeling with your husband. He's your teammate and partner in this journey and would want to know how you're feeling. Xxx

Had a well needed lie-in this morning (yaaay) but then AF started. Not getting my hopes up again until I'm a few days late now. DH is probably more disappointed then me. Cycle 10 now 🙄

I really hope this Squirtle sticks around... I told my mum, and she has now told me about all the cousins I have who miscarried. Cheers, Mum!

Thanks everyone! Appreciate the support, and knowing that I'm not the only one who feels it.

Have spoken to OH about it now whilst step children were busy and he's been so good... and I've told him we'll having a biology lesson later, just to check we know what we're doing Can't harm!

Just starting the 10 day wait (I'm basing that on cervical position) so currently 4DPO and counting 😇

Sorry to all having a hard time. We are having an extension done at the moment and it has been unbelievably stressful so far - I hold little hope that we will be able to conceive until after the work is done, so considering giving it a miss the next few months just to take the pressure off 😞

@FingersXssd83 Af in full flow this morning here now too, and onto cycle 10 for us as well...maybe that will be our lucky one?!

@applesauce1 congratulations yayyyyy, is that 4th BFP now for the thread?

Think I'm out for the April bus, 7 days till AF is due but getting my pre AF feelings. Gutted! My partner works away and couldn't of timed his rotation any better for this months ovulation, unfortunately I definitely won't be getting a Bfp for the next couple cycles due to our jobs. 😭

Aww very sorry to hear that @Spottyyellowdress Are you trying for your first? I'm 35 in the summer, really wish we hadn't left this so late. Feeling a bit low today tbh, DH is being his usual lovely self about it all x

Sorry to everyone who is out/AF showed it’s so disappointing. Fingers crossed for better news next month. I’m currently on CD14 and O is in 2 days so I’m pretty busy 🤣 dreading the TWW 🤦‍♀️

t minus 2.30 hours and still no sign of af yet today... cervix still high and squishy... temp had dropped a little this morning. i feel like an investigator trying to piece together a mystery lol.

Cd22 here and still waiting to see if I've ovulated. I hate waiting. Worse than the tww... not knowing if you're in the bloody tww!

@boboelephant think ill go and buy a test today and test tomorrow morning if af doesnt show today. Had 2 bfns this week at dpo11 and 12 with CB early response so probably my body just teasing me anyway. Is it best to do a frer even when you have missed a period?

Also i feel like such a weak hormonal woman today... so tired and fragile feel like i could cry at the drop of a hat and need to be cuddled haha.

@applesauce1 yaay I knew it! I forgot to opk this afternoon will try and hold then test in a couple of hours as don't want to miss the surge only dtd once this fw so far

@applesauce1 bit congrats!!! Your idea of “pregnant” or “yes wine” cracked me up. Someone needs to sell that test because I would buy it for sure!

Sorry to those who are having a rough go or for whom AF have arrived.

This is cycle #1 for my DH and me, and I’m on CD9. I’m feeling way less crazy than I did before my first off-mirena period came, other than wanting badly to know what my cycle is going to be like. I am not looking forward to the 2WW when I think the crazy will ramp up again!

@Chel1888 my understanding is that once the period is missed you don't need a frer as you should have enough hcg. I've just used the Morrisons 2 for £3.50 or IC's in the past and they've done the job. Although some people do prefer to use frer or cb. Ahh hormones!! They're a pain!!

Nothing to report here, 4dpo, I'd forgotten quite how slowly the tww goes!!
