Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

BFN for me this morning! So disappointed. AF isn’t due until Tuesday though, Is there still hope?

Hi all,

I joined this bus at the beginning of April but have since been a bit awol due to holidays and work stress. Anyway currently expecting AF for Wednesday and not much of hope for a BFP as I was away from the country for the second half of my fertile week.

Despite telling myself not to, started early testing. Yesterday got a faint line on a CB early indication one - having read about these I now count it as a false positive and will never waste money on these again.... This morning clear cut BFNs on a Superdrug own brand and Poundland cheap one. Gutted and annoyed about the evap line on the CB. Anyway, onwards an upwards, I've got some digital tests in the cupboard, will use those if AF is late. Will avoid wasting money on a FRER just now as due to missing half of my fertile week chances of a positive as low anyway. Also, I should manage a couple of extra days till AF comes.

Just tested again.. again another strong bfn.. this is just annoying now I’m clearly not pregnant. :(. Cervix is high and firm now. Had quite a temp drop today so guess af will be here soon. I felt pregnant yesterday.

Oh and I’m fed up of buying expensive bloody tests for them to be wasted on bfns. I was so excited buying these ones last night though when af hadn’t showed all day. The frers on Amazon seem cheap compared to the clear blue Iv been buying!

@Chel1888 i felt like that last month so bought some frers and cheapies. I will try not to use a frer until a get bfps on the cheapies.

@Mimilicious013 thanks hun, yeah it's a pain. Especially as last month I ovulated on cd17 and thought I'd finally regulated my cycles to 30 days. It makes the wait between months very long and I am very envious of people who finish af and bang are in fw! Ah well, looks like I finally ovulated yesterday so should be in tww. Better late than never!
@snowbrigade sorry about the bfn but you're not out yet. Fingers crossed.
@Chel1888 sorry it was a bfn again. That sucks. It's so cruel how similar pregnancy and af hormones can be. Defi stock up on some IC or home brand ones for next month.

@Yummum19 I was due AF on Saturday, and got my first (very) faint positive on Thursday, so I'd say you're definitely not out yet.

@Alex2790 I don't really feel like I have any symptoms... I had quite a lot of lower back ache, and have been experiencing a dull ache in my womb region. No sickness. Temp still high though. Boobs feel fine.

@flyingplum That made my day! I'm sticking around until the month is out. I'm sorry to hear about those ladies who have had their AFs already, but I'm rooting for all of those still on the April bus with all of my heart. I'm desperate to see more BfuckingPs for my April ladies!

@Chel1888 I've found the Amazon ICs just as sensitive as the FRERs. The intensity of the lines on the ICs and the FRERs have been exactly the same, if not, a little darker on the ICs. I agree, the FRERs and Clear Blues are extortionately expensive just for a little plastic house for the strip to go into.
Also, my cervix went high and firm the day before BFP, and I had a 5 degree temp drop that day too. Don't count yourself out until AF shows.

Aww, thanks @applesauce1! I think I have AF symptoms, things feeling unsettled in lower abdomen. Didn't have much hope this month cos of the times we were in the same place to DTD but still a bit gutted. Ah well. Next month!

I got high fertility from the clearblue test on Thursday so I think I ovulated on Friday and I've been away for the weekend. My partner was ill last week so we did not DTD at all! :( Theres no chance the egg would still be hanging around today would it? I think it is probably too late for us this month argh!

Think im on the tww now. Af due on our first wedding anniversary. How amazing if we got our bfp then. Im gonna try really hard not to test.

@pob13 I will have to stock up on some cheapies if af comes. Oh that would be lovely if you got a BFP on that day!

Ok so Iv joined you in ring bearing tests lol. So after 2 mins and it being negative this morning I got pissed off and put it in a draw... didn’t check it up to 10 mins. Now Iv come back and there is a faint blue line for positive 😐 Iv been googling and Iv read evap lines are grey but if it detects any hcg they are the colour of the dye??? Iv had a tiny bit of pink spotting today 🤔

Didn’t work... hopefully this does ..

All of my tests look negative until about 5 minuets and seem to get stronger at about the 10 minute mark. I nearly threw my first big fucking positive in the bin before realising a faint line had actually developed.

@Chel1888 Daddy Apple can see the line too! How are you feeling? Have you got another test to confirm and did you keep the wee (not the strangest sentence I've said during the bizarre journey of TTC)?

@applesauce1 oh god really why did i throw it in the drawer like it had been naughty. Hahaha. I also threw my wee down the toilet in a huff 😂😂😂 I will do another test tomorrow. The pink spotting is throwing me off the scent though thinking Iv got af coming in full force soon

Haha I did the EXACT same thing. I imagine that the sight of me chucking a pot of wee down the loo with an angry flourish is something chic and stylish to behold.

Tomorrow will come soon! Don't over-hydrate this evening so you have a nice strong wee in the morning.

Oh and not drinking at a wedding reception 15 minutes walk from your house is nearly impossible to blag not drinking at. I got heavily questioned by more than one guest, even though Dadapple was "drinking for two"...
