Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

Temp drop this morning, god knows what’s been up with my cycle this month.

Congrats @applesauce1 and very sorry to read about the other negatives.

If AF doesn't arrive for me today then I'll be officially 'late' in the 10 cycles that I've been tracking so will test tomorrow.

Had no cramps this month like I usually would get before AF. Also had pain in my leg. Boob pain has come much later for me, and I've been very weepy this week.

I would love a Christmas baby as my first.

Now I'm looking at the FRER in daylight, I can sort of see a line. I didn't look at it in daylight in 5 minute window, so is it just an evap line? My wee was very weak this morning... over hydrated myself yesterday!

I'm not testing until I'm late which will be tomorrow. Having a few twinges down there now though so expecting AF to arrive. Only time will tell... x

I'm having twinges too. Yesterday I thought I was having full on period cramps but I just needed a poo.
It was while I was waiting for 4 hours for a pee to do that midday FRER. I've faced many challenges in my life, but doing a poo without doing a wee was truly a test of mental determination and pelvic floor mastery. I am proud of myself.

Finally got peak on my opk tests after 8 days of high 🙈 lol x

I went out to dinner with a couple of friends who already have kids last night and when I mentioned we’d been trying for 9months now with no luck they were both really shocked... can’t stop crying today, mix of impending af plus the realisation that it’s geting more and more likely something’s wrong.

@Spottyyellowdress oh dear! Sorry to hear that. Have you ever been on the pill? I know things have changed since, and my mum is probably considered a dinosaur now, but it took her 2 years to fall pregnant with my older sister after coming of contraception. Then I followed really quickly. Don’t judge your body by other peoples. We’re all so different. Big squeezes to you. Be kind to yourself. Eat some cake, drink some tea/coffee(/wine!!) and breathe. Xxx

@babybeany thank you, just what I needed! Feeling a little more rational now.

I have, came off about two years ago when we got engaged thinking about trying after we’d got married - it did take a year for my periods to become regular again and they’ve never been the same as before I was on it, so maybe that does have something to do with it.

Oh bless you @Spottyyellowdress Some people just don't get it. It took me 10 cycles to get pregnant with DD and there was nothing wrong with us! This time round I had a CP on cycle 6 so I'm now cycle 8. It just takes longer with some of us unfortunately- it doesn't mean there's always something wrong. I always just say that DD was worth the wait

I'm currently 10dpo, have absolutely nothing else going on, no sore boobs etc, no signs AF is coming but also no signs I could be pregnant. How early do you all take a test?

Im torn I have loads of tests in the cupboard but I know if I take one and get a BFN I will be gutted. And I don't want to take one too early and risk feeling crap for the weekend. (I'm off to visit my parents - leave tomorrow morning)

Shall I do one tomorrow morning before I leave or wait till I get back Tuesday?

Hey @sodababy2 also flat and uncertain, think you just get to that point in 2ww after a number of months :/ think I ovulated Tuesday, right on time if so - AF due 17/04 so 3 days behind. don't think it would change the first EDD though would it? basically please don't not be my twin I need you clings to soda's ankle

Day 24 of what was usually as 28 day cycle until last month where it was randomly a 36 day cycle (bfn’s Sadly)

AF due anytime from Wednesday 11th I think. Today I’ve had awful backache and cramps which I assume means my period is on its way but who knows.

On a plus, I’m finally becoming a lot more laid back with the whole process. That is, until someone I know announces they’re pregnant and I turn green with envy.

I'm almost 100% sure i'm out this month. low and hard cervix, and discharge has notched up again which is usually the precursor to AF for me. If i was a betting woman, i'd be putting a fiver on her arrival on sunday down the bookies... Went out on day trip for OH's birthday yesterday and drank a whole bunch of beer to commiserate. On the plus side, one of my old school friends is about to pop, so have been able to indulge my new found squidginess over baby clothes by buying too much stuff for her bump :D

Hi everyone, so glad I found the April bus! Recognise a few names from the March bus thread!
This is my 4th month TTC since I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in December. I also had a chemical pregnancy last month all I want is a sticky bean, have everything crossed that it will happen soon. Currently on cd13, meant to be ovulating in 3-4 days so planning on dtd everyday for the next 5 days to cover myself and then onto the TWW 😩😂

No real idea when I am due because my last period didn't really appear - I had the slightest amount of spotting but that was it. In the end I gave up waiting for it to appear and decided I was onto a new cycle!

Been taking OPKs and yesterday and today are both positive (I think...) so I am hoping that I will get a BFP around the 20th/21st.

Not holding out much hope though because of the dodgy period last time.

The constant thoughts about what is happening down below is driving me mad!

@flyingplum my cervix is also low and firm, so I'm hoping that isn't a sure sign of not being pregnant for both of us!

@Glera I am also suddenly experiencing jealousy of pregnant women. Even celebrities.

@clairehr I hope so! Daddy apple isn't excited yet. He's protecting his heart because he really wants to complete his Pokemon evolution from boyfriend, to husband, to daddy. What is a 'glowy one'?

@Spottyyellowdress Big hugs. I'm sure they didn't mean to be insensitive. It does amaze me that so many people manage to fall pregnant without taking their temperature, poking their cervixes or tracking ovulation at all. The odds seem so stacked against pregnancy!

@PassTheAfterEights I'm 13dpo I think. Cycle day 35, but didn't get a period until 38days in Jan and 45 days in Feb. It's going to be so frustrating if this isn't our month because we have to wait so long to ovulate with my eternal cycles.

@applesauce1 - I'm trying very hard to be quite calm and not go crazy this month. I'm going out tonight and found myself plotting to go an get a FRER to test in the loo before i meet my friend so i can decide whether to have one glass of wine or half a bottle...but it's too early really. I think I ovulated on the 26th or thereabouts, and I promised myself i would wait until Monday, so I will wait until monday. As regards the cervix thing - i don't think it's a sign, actually. a high, soft cervix indicates pregnancy, but the internet tells me that it may not actually retreat back until some weeks into the pregnancy, so don't get downhearted! I just have a whole bunch of other things that suggest to me my body is gearing up for AF. Increased discharge, a final end to post-ovulation constipation that I always have (sorry if tmi!!! no boundaries...) and a general 'feeling'. but I will make myself wait until monday. TBH, i should make myself wait until tuesday...last cycle i tested on the day my period started. BFN and AF cramps in the same day was a bit miserable!!

@PreparingToBeAMummy have you taken a pregnancy test recently? Don't want to get your hopes up but OPKs can pick up HCG and your spotting could have been IB?
