Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

@hatethesnow I'm taking pregnacare tablets and haven't noticed any difference in my cycles. But it does make my wee slightly neon!

Hi @PassTheAfterEights - cycle twins again! If we conceived this cycle EDD will be Christmas Day as well!! CD 12 today. Usually ovulate CD15/16 so getting on it this weekend. Noticed first ewcm today.

@passtheaftereights as it's my first month and I have no idea when I would normally ovulate I'm just going to follow my app!

I use the Flo app to track my cycle and that's got a 2 week 'fertile period' starting on the 3rd April which would be CD10 and is predicting ovulation on the 10th (CD17) so i'll just use the tests from CD8 or 9 until I get a positive, to get an idea of when in the cycle it happens.

That sounds about right from what I've read so far anyway :)

ttc is indeed a downer @sodababy2 but glad you got back into it and gl to you too.

seems like a lot are getting busy this easter . really praying that it's Christmas babies for everyone

Just checking in..I've had 4 days of flashing smileys so really hoping for peak fertility & then ov soon, over the bank holiday weekend would be perfect! Had some good EWCM yest & today too so all good signs!!

Those of you doing opks do your DH/DPs know your doing them? I feel like him not knowing sort of makes it seem more spontaneous, even though it's very timed obviously!! I haven't purposely not told him but just hasn't really come up...he's sort of in the if it will happen it will happen camp whereas I need to know I'm doing all I can!!

@MrsY87 my DH is fully aware of all my obsessions! To be fair though we've been trying for #2 for 18 momths so it's not really spontaneous at all any more. I just line them up on the dresser now. Haha. Do whatever works for you though!

@MrsY87. My DH is aware that I’m using OPKs but only because we both work very long hours so doubt we would be ‘in the mood’ if I wasn’t getting peak fertility on clearblue! Plus I work abroad quite a bit....think the consensus is usually to try and keep it hidden from your DH as it can make ttc quite mechanical and can be a lot of pressure for him.

@MrsY87 I asked my husband if he'd rather know when is a 'good time' or not and he said he would. It's our first cycle and approaching FW now so we'll see if performance anxiety happens! I might just say this week would be a good time to DTD rather than 'I AM OVULATING IN THE NEXT 24-48 HOURS SO WE NEED TO DO IT NOW!'

@MrsY87 I tell DH about OPKs - we're on cycle 8 now and had a m/c 2 months ago so both desperate for it to happen and want to do all we can.

I didn't use them for #1 as we were v lucky it happened in the first cycle but did for #2 as it took us the best part of a year so became less spontaneous and more mechanical. I suppose he's probably guessed I'll be using them again this time and is just letting me get on with it! I think I'll go with similar this week/weekend @polkadotjersey rather than being too specific!!

So I’m 8dpo today and have the feeling af is on her way. Have started to feel a bit crampy down there and also quite irritable today which is normal a few days before af I also had a feel of my cervix and I’m sorry if this is tmi but it feels extremely low like just on the inside of my vagina. I’m not sure if this is something to be worried about or if it’s normal having had a baby already. Anyone else had this?

@chocoholic1 not sure about the cervix position hun i dont think u need to be worried tho? also youre not out until af sings lol.

CD21 and iv woken up to a barrage of symptoms today!! horrendous backage where iv had to put a heated wheat bag on and nausea! iv had really bad nausea with both my pregnancies one was MC im really not looking forward to that again if thats the case i get so ill every day was hoping new pregnancy would be different. Also still had the left side stabbing pain yesterday which i had for a few days. I feel like im pretty sure im pregnant now that iv started to feel really nauseous but i still have 8 days to go til af due.

oh and my temp is going up still. Not sure when its meant to dip before af? But mine is going up and up and up

@applesauce sorry to hear about your cystitis, I often gets this and it is horrendous! Apparently you need to make your body more alkaline as cystitis is a cause of inflammation and too acidic conditions! That's what someone said to me x u can also get some good natural remedies something called waterfall d mannose helps too x

Morning all. I'm away till Monday and Natural Cycles predicts I won't ovulate till Wednesday (Day 17) but last cycle I ovulated on Day 15, which would be Monday. DTD last night and this morning before I left, and Clear Blue OPK is still saying low fertility, so got everything crossed I don't miss some fertile days!

Has anyone tried Poundland ovulation tests? I bought some the other day and wondered if anyone has tried them before?

Afternoon, hope everyone’s having a Good Friday!

12dpo today, I had a bfn yesterday on a frer (so much for not resting early!) so I’m not feeling hopeful at all tbh.

Ovia and Glow both think I’m due AF tomorrow but I think she’ll show Sunday (just long enough for a little extra false hope!)

Boobs still sore, no other symptoms though. Some months I’m spotting by now and others not.

How are you @chocaholic?

@babybeany I haven’t used Poundland tests but have used the cheap one step ones from eBay for the last few months. They have worked okish, the line on mine never gets as dark as the control line. I’m in the clearblue active trial group at the min and I had a peak smiley while the cheap opk with the same urine didn’t look ‘ready’ to me.
11 days dpo today and feeling very crampy. going to hold out testing until Sunday but feels like AF is on the way.
