Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

Lissie - so sorry hun (sends a shoulder to cry on & a big hug). My dh is very mild-mannered but I´m sure he´d have wanted to punch the obnoxious f**r.

UpsyDaisy · 04/06/2007 16:14

thank you. was just really shocked! he didnt ask which hospital was doing my HSG, it has to be shrews coz its a bigger hospital, better equipped (ha) and with my history the nurse thought it best that i go there.

tigerschick · 04/06/2007 16:45

So sorry on 2 counts lissie - sorry your period turned up and sorry you had such an awful experience at the specialist. He really does seem to be an arse! Have a glass or 3 of something alcoholic tonight on me

toomuchtimeonline · 04/06/2007 17:56

Hi guys! I haven't been on for a few days.. looks like you've been very busy on here!

Trying - Hi - I'm really new to this thread too and everyone is really friendly! I'm taking my last week of pills before officially ttc this month - I too have been on over a decade. Stay positive I'm sure it will happen for you soon - and in the meantime the MN girls are great for support!

Scorpio - Sorry you got your AF - I'm loving your positive attitude though - I hope I'm as positive as you when my time comes..

Lissie - I can't believe how insensitive doctors can be. I think that they forget that you only go to the doctors for things that you really need help with whereas they see patients day in and day out. It makes me really angry that they can be so insensitive to you with everything you are going though

upsydaisy - lol at raiding the copper jar - we've all been there before - although not usually when avoiding a curse

to everyone else - hello!! your wedding venues all look amazing!!

plummymummy · 04/06/2007 18:11

Hello. Lissie - so sorry to hear about your period coming Also disgusted to hear doctor was so horrible - will read your other thread later. I agree with Scorpio - drinks in order on an occasion like this.

Ok - an update on moi. I went for my scan this morning. There was no fetal pole visable but there was a pregnancy sac, a yolk sac and trophoblasty. The sonographer said it looked promising and about right for dates (maybe measuring few days younger)and I am being re-scanned in two weeks. She said the trophoblasty was a good sign that the pg is progressing well. I was a bit disappointed not to see a fetal pole or heartbeat but relieved it isn't ectopic. Also the presence size of the sac and presence of the yolk is further than I have got with my previous two pgs which I subsequently miscarried. So I have to assume it is positive and keep trying to chill out until the next scan. Dh doesn't want me to go to the walk-in one before the two weeks as he said getting obsessed about it won't help. I suppose he's right and unless I have cause for concern a week won't make much difference either way.

lissie · 04/06/2007 18:12

yay (tentative of course) and {{{{hug}}}}

scorpio1 · 04/06/2007 18:13

Good news plummy! it sounds really promising, your dh is right too...hold off on the enxt one, you will see more.

Yay!

plummymummy · 04/06/2007 18:16

Thanks girls Also I remember having early scans with ds due to spotting (one at 5 weeks and one at 7)In the first, all that was visible was a dot, in the second I could see a sac much like the one I saw today with a tiny bean inside and a heartbeat. So makes sense that this week would be somewhere between. Just missing the jumping bean. He/she will be waiting for me in the next scan

scorpio1 · 04/06/2007 18:18

or they?

plummymummy · 04/06/2007 18:27
