Morning folks!

Interesting stuff about the stomach muscles nomore! I thought that the stronger they were the more likely they would be to pop back into place - but that is based on no medical evidence - just that my friend who was a size 8-10 and had a washboard stomach pretty much pinged back into shape 2 weeks after giving birth

Since I'm pretty new here I thought it might be good to do a roll call of who's still on this thread so we can all catch up - if I start does everyone want to join in? - could be embarrassing if you all ignore me - also feel free to add in anything more interesting that you can think of..

Treenie - age 27. Married nearly 2 years.
Came off the pill last week so now on cd 7 (if counting from first day of af, which I think is what I'm meant to do)
Waiting till after next af to start trying. If for no other reason than the fact that I have a long haul flight to go on in late December and if it happens first time I might be too far along to fly back! Think I would be very near the 32 week limit so not risking it. Also must add that I am (clearly) an obbsessive planner!
So not technically trying yet but not long to go and very much enjoying all the chat and advice on this thread - have been reading it for months before posting.

new to all of this but not to children (have been a nursery nurse for 14 years, working as a nursery nurse in a hospital, a nursery supervisor, and as a nanny))

Love the excessive planning Treenie! Me and DH were the same last year when we were trying to decide when would be best but realised that there is always something you need to organise around (like weddings or long haul flights) so we've decided to just bite the bullet and see what happens! I'm not booking any more hols now just in case though - they will all be last min bookings

nomore - age 29, married 5 years, ttc 18 months currently undergoing inital fertility tests before being referred (dh has v. low % of properly formed o~ so will need assisted conception of some sort, waiting on my results before we can proceed)

Fi - CD is cycle day. You count CD1 as the first proper day of your period and then if you have a regular 28 day cycle you ovulate around CD14ish.. I think!

so then, if everything went according to plan, and my AF was being a very good girl, i would be fertile like................... 14th june.....................which is???????????

ive been having period pain like cramps though.
feel like im coming on every now and again.

Nomore - sorry to hear you've been trying so long when did you find out your DH had low sperm? What kind of assisted conception do you think they will offer you?

Did you watch that program on TV the other day (embarrassing illnesses) where all the men gave up booze and fags and ate lots of fruit, veg and fish and they increased their sperm count and viability massively? There's always hope that one of the things you're trying will work since a change in diet had a massive effect over just a few weeks..
