Not much time to catch up but just wanted to say to Chocolatedays that I think people need to hear both sides to keep balanced so I think you should tell how it is. I'll find the thread and have a read, see if I can help xx

Hey Ready, I agree with the idea that reducing stress could help with conception. Maybe losening up leads to more sex or the body being in better condition. However, I get mucho frustrated with the idea that somehow the sperm are all knowing and queue up in a parking lot in the vagina waiting for the owner (us) of Hotel Egg to stop taking an active interest in their fertility/ taking note of body signs before they can proceed??

MrsMC how are you feeling. Did you book your holiday?

3cats as a child I got abdominal migraine and there is a family history of migraine. SO I know it's a toughie. Hope you're doing ok.

Seaside how was your London trip? Were you glad to get out?

Chocolatedays ? I found a thread on spotting in Pregnancy but the poor lady lost her baby so it must be another one Everything crossed for the IVF. Holiday not booked yet, money?s an issue Ab migraine sounds horrible.

I had a chart spot at the airport briefly last night and now I have forgotten it all so will have to look again.

Also?.I am ?probably pregnant? woke up at 4am, needed a wee and thought I?d better temp too as I normally get up at 6.15 so I rooted around in the dark for a test and did it ? there was a line not the strongest of lines but mostly definitely there. Funnily enough, I didn?t get any sleep after that. I feel numb really, I went through every emotion in the hours of lying there; as you can imagine I am very scared about the thrombophilia and the risk to the baby, I don?t have a haematology appointment yet and I don?t know what to do. I have left a message for my GP to call me about ?something important? I hope she is not too angry with me for disobeying her advice to help. I haven?t had any spotting like last time so I am reading into that that this time might be different; more fool me but what?s the harm in staying positive? I am really excited, just scared.

MrsMcJnr - First thing I did this morning was look at your chart, and I saw yesterday's temp rise and I thought to myself "MrsMc has cracked it again - best go and look at some threads" and LO and behold - You've ruddy well cracked it again! I am so happy for you chick!! How truly wonderful!

Don't tell your GP that you went against her advice, just tell her you weren't actively trying, it just happened - meant to be! And then make sure that they look after you sweetheart!

Oh, I am grinning from ear to ear - wonderful wonderful news. I woke up feeling sombre because of things going on in my life at the moment that are a huge stress and worry - but your news has really lifted my spirits! And restored my faith in the world! (((((((hugs)))))))

Cityangel - Welcome back chick!! How's the jetlag working for you? I was cracking up at your Hotel Egg analogy - I wonder if our Concierge sometimes gets confused and sends the sperm to the wrong room?

Thank you so much you are all so sweet to me spoke to GP and she was a bit frosty at first but said she'd contact haematologist and call me back. I'll feel much better after I've spoken/seen consultant I think

Cityangel - I don't want to bring down the thread - but DH didn't get a new contract, so we are in limbo land for a while, will be putting the house on the market, and moving again, god knows where to next - just when we had got settled. So feeling pretty stressed at the moment - could be why I haven't conceived yet - all this stress hanging over us?? .... Anyone think that is possible? Or am I just kidding myself?

Oh and city - meant to ask, have you started in your new position yet?? wasn't sure if it was before or after your holiday? how's it all going?

MrsMc - Don't mind the GP being frosty - so long as you get the care you need, that's all that matters

Hey there City hope you are still feeling the benefits of that holiday! Consultant?s appointment is on Monday morning, it is such a relief that it is so soon! Another faint line this morning. This time on the brand that showed BFN on 9 and 11dpo so hopefully things will continue to get stronger. Hungry as hell and constantly burning up!

MrsMC holiday feels like a distant memory with this crap weather. I hope you're feeling alright and the weekend is ok.

I am sure you have some but don't forget your DVT socks for flying and maybe use them on long journeys as well. We always wear ours.

It is really annoying how crap the weather is isn't it? grr! I think we'll head over to Spain to visit my folks instead of going somewhere else now. It falls just around the time I MC last time and I don't want to be somewhere strange if it were to happen again. We plan to take a few days out on our own and head up the Coast to a nice hotel

I'm feeling a bit silly. Shouldn't have said I felt positive. I started spotting yesterday and again today. AF due tomorrow .

Lets hope the xray thing clears me out and makes it happen next cycle.

I had a letter from the hospital requesting 4 more thyroid tests. A seperate one for fertility purposes.
I have to have them this week.

I think the tests are a repeat of the thyroid test I've already had plus more detailed thyroid tests. Plus a seperate blood test envelope saying 'hypothyroid-fertility issues'.
I can't get through to the GP this morning. I'll keep trying.

Funny though as my GP said that the thyroid results were not high enough to effect my fertility and to get re tested in 2 months.

I think I'll stick with the hospitals stuff and have them done now.

No AF yet this morning. Got a -nve test though. (with a cheapie test).
Even DH said 'are you pg, you don't have the spots you usually get at this time'.
I have one or 2 spots but I usuallt get a huge breakout on my jawline and neck in the build upto AF.
I just wish AF would arrive now if she's going to. Don't keep me hanging on all day.
