Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

OP posts:
3catstoo · 02/05/2007 13:58

So, Rattling, Seaside and MrsMc are in 2ww. Fingers crossed ladies.
Minxi, City, iwillbe and Ready in pre Ov stg.
Me, day of Ov, soon to be 2ww.

It's much easier with the new thread. At least we can see who is still with us. Thamks MrsMc for that.

Is it me or are there bumps everywhere?
I can't leave the house without seeing a pg women. I'm sure there are more at this time of year.

I'm off to drink lots of water (I have a different problem today which is a bit strange - TMI coming up.......................................................I'm constipated and rather uncomfortable ) Sorry, I had to share that.

MrsMcJnr · 02/05/2007 15:26

3Cats ? I always start too early with both the BDing and the OPKs!! No wonder we run out of steam. Sounds pretty good for today though one good and one best is pretty good fingers crossed. I think your DH was a bit mean, he must know how much this baby means to you and what you are having to suffer to get there. Sorry, I have no right to judge your DH but that sounded like a really mean thing to say Bet you are looking forward to some cheese eating peace when he goes away! ) I think that you only get a +ive when the levels are high enough for you to OV and it?s the trigger so don?t think you can get +ive afterwards (unless 2 eggs are released? But you probably wouldn?t notice as that generally happens within 24 hours of the 1st one being released doesn?t it?) I think a +ive can mean OV anytime between 12 & 36 hours away. I always assume (and normally my software agrees ) that you OV sometime between the last +ive and 1st ?ive.

Seaside ? we are all guilty of predicting what comes next I think! Have to say, I do expect the software to go back to the original OV date once we get further into the 2WW. How are you getting on with the flower essences?

Ready ? glad to have the old positive ever-Ready back again! Think you are right about LH and the OV process but my OPKs say 12 ? 36 hours

Hey Cityangel ? hope you are having a great time! Where are you now? On the topic of the CBFM ? where?s the harm in a little secret?! Thanks for your thoughts. The MN community have been fabulous about it it really helps. Next step is a referral to a haematologist but it could take a while . All other tests were fine including iron which was 86 whatever that means but apparently its fine Haven?t booked the holiday yet but hope to soon. I should be in London for work anyway over the next few months, I?ll let you know, it would be fun to put a face to a name! Damn Champions League hey! Of course, I?m next with my BFP but you can all join me!

Off to chart spot???

MrsMcJnr · 02/05/2007 15:35

Great looking chart Seaside and look at all that BDing I agree, you must have OVd on cd13, everything points to that

Fingers crossed Rattling

Chart looks good for your chances 3cats!

Ready, Minxi & Iwillbe ? looked at yours too

seaside72 · 02/05/2007 18:45

Thanks for all the chart compliments DH says he needs to go away more often!! I have to say this is the best effort we have made since the first three months of TTC last year

But there is a long way to go yet and I really want to keep it going (not every day!) for the next week.

Ready - my moon day falls on CD1 of next cycle if I have another 26dayer this month Rubbish!

And yes 3cats - there seem to be bumps and buggies everywhere

3catstoo · 03/05/2007 09:49

Morning ladies.
How is everyone on this dull and cold morning?
What happened to the weather? I thought it was going to be nice all week.

Seaside your efforts make me feel so unfit .

DH is in my good books again, after giving in to my demands again last night. No football but he did go swimming until 10pm, so got home at 10.30 to a desperate h/w.
I was in shock when he gave in so quickly. He obviously knows when he's beat!

Off for a chart spot.

MrsMcJnr · 03/05/2007 14:37

Hey Seaside lets hope effort = reward

Hello 3Cats it was dull and cold this morning but it is much nice now so glad that you got what you needed last night

Ready · 03/05/2007 14:51

The weather is gorgeous here!!

Hope everyone is doing well... I best go and have a nosy at the charts! Fingers crossed everyone!!

3catstoo · 03/05/2007 19:18

The weather continued to be dull and cold all day. I'm obviously in the wrong place.

seaside72 · 04/05/2007 00:04

Weather was amazing here today - hot enough to sunbathe - but I was busy all day !!

3cats -Dont be - honestly it has taken about 8 months to work up to that effort and I am still a liitle amazed and I think we only managed that cos DH was away CD6-11 and you know what they say about absence! I know I sound pessimisstic but I still think it will be all be for nought - but at least we have proved we have ben able to do it more than twice in the week and get a High score from FF (Ready - you know how I like my gold stars!!)

Anyway it all went pear-shaped last night when we both fell asleep and then woke again an hour later - had a try but DH's swimmers did not want to come out to see me despite great effort - cue stress and a 3am arguement in the seaside bedroom - Knew it couldn't last

MrsMc - if only effort=reward

Cityangel - hope hols are still going well

Ready · 04/05/2007 11:06

Seaside - Really sorry to hear that arguments ensued between you and DH. Big Hug.
Noticed on your chart you have had 2 temps not in the normal time range ? are you having disturbed sleep, chick? Hope you are ok?
Sorry the weather was so good but you had no time to sunbathe ? boooooo!
Chuckle at the gold stars - here

3cats - Very well timed effort ? perfect I?d say! Fingers crossed for you. Is your DH from today? Does that mean you can have lasagne and tortillas without complaint
I?m getting the cold and dull weather today, so I am obviously a day behind you

MrsMc - Please don?t think I am being rude, but I just had to say, that I giggled at ?sore calves? on your chart ? I wondered what the significance could be with regard to ttc. Your temps certainly would indicate ovulation on 18 ? but the EWCM and your normal OPK trend certainly point to 17. Is the software programmed to put the temp pattern first? Hope you are ok?

Cityangel - Hope the holiday is doing you the world of good! You do realise that if you conceive out there, you will be forced to name the baby Orlando or Miami or Atlanta

3catstoo · 04/05/2007 14:13

Seaside sorry about your argument. Is all resolved today?
at your good weather. Not that I am in a position to enjoy it. Another migraine day today .

Ready yes Dh laft at 6'30 this morning. Will be back late Monday night.

Yes it's lasagne for tea tonight!!!!
Although I will be sharing it with 4 friends. I am making the most of DH being away and having a girly night. So I made the filling for the lasagne last night and will put it together later, if this migraine calms a bit. [wishful thinking emoticon].

I had another group of friends here this morning. We meet up only about once a year but decided this morning to try and meet monthly instead, which was nice.

But with that and tonights meal at my house, I feel I have a rushed day with heaps of housework to do. I was still mopping the floor when my friends started arriving this morning .
I'm such a last minute merchant.

How is everyone else today?

MrsMcJnr · 04/05/2007 16:06

Seaside we?ve had quite a few sessions like that, I always hope that some might have escaped and that the effort is not totally wasted but it is awfully annoying, plus it really reinforces the fact that you are only doing it on that particular occasion for the end result, not for the thrill in the experience. I do feel for you.

Ready ? it?s due to varicose veins before and during AF (sometimes so sore I can?t stand) and when I was pg they were much, much worse, had to put my legs up as much as I could and wear support tights. My Mum had them so badly with my youngest sister that they told her she could not have anymore DC because of the risk to her life. I don?t know if this is connected to the blood clotting issue, could well do, it would make sense. Maybe being pg in the winter would be a bonus for me with the support tights? I think the software is based on OPK & temps. Maybe my temp was out on 18th, hopefully I won?t care what day it was soon?.. my ok, slightly worried about how hard I am hoping this cycle but no way to stop that is there. How are you doing?

Hey 3Cats sorry about the migraine I really hope you have a lovely evening with the girls!

3catstoo · 05/05/2007 01:39

Have a fab weekend All.

Ready · 05/05/2007 19:02

MrsMc - really sorry for bringing up your sore calves - how insensitive of me. Not to mention rude. I was genuinely curious though, and had to ask. I hope I didn't upset you petal!? I would say the varicose veins were almost certainly linked to the thrombophilia. Take care of yourself hon.

3cats - Hope you enjoyed your get together with the girls, and your lasagne!

Seaside - Hope you are ok? Drinking plenty of cranberry juice?

Cityangel - Howdee

All - enjoy the bank holiday weekend

MrsMcJnr · 06/05/2007 18:49

Ready - not at all hon, happy to explain, that's why we share charts isn't it? when you next do, you'll see that I was bad yesterday It was crazy, wasn't even first pee but I just had such a good vibe, BFN of course! but still a little but in some ways it has brought me back down to earth a bit.

Must have a spot actually...

Hope everyone is well

Ready · 06/05/2007 19:47

MrsMcJnr - True, but I needn't have giggled! - I can't bring myself to tell you off for testing. You've been through too much to listen to me throwing stats at you! I hope that the BFN didn't upset you too much? (hug) because it really doesn't mean anything at this stage! Did you over-ride the software to get ovulation on 17? Or did it correct itself?
Hope you are doing ok?

Seaside - Hope you are ok hon, noticed your temp went up again - has that made you feel a little less despondent? Hope so flower. Missing you on the threads again - hope all is well.

3cats - Are you all lasagned out? I thought of you this evening actually, DH and I decided to have a light-ish tea so we had Jackets - DH had cheese and beans and I had tuna - and I thought your DH wouldn't be happy with my cooking either - Is it just me, or do the rest of you think of fellow mumsnetters in RL?

Mum03 - Hope you are not too tired after being kept awake. How's the house coming along

City - As always, hope hol is top notch!!

Other charters -

3catstoo · 06/05/2007 21:19

MrsMc those temps are amazing, all in a row. Don't beat yourself up about testing early - we all do it.

Ready I am lasagned out. I had it last night too as I had made far too much for Friday.
No you are not the only one who thinks of MNers in RL. I think it's very sweet .

Rattling sorry to see AF on your chart. Hugs to you.

City hope you are having a fab time.

Seaside Good to see your temp went back up again.

Hope everyone else is good.

seaside72 · 06/05/2007 22:41

3Cats - DH and I joined you in lasagna tonight!! extra cheese for me - yum

3catstoo · 08/05/2007 10:27

Good for you Seaside! Think of the protein!

MrsMcJnr · 08/05/2007 10:51

Hi Ready I was ok by the BFNs, grounded me a bit but I?m still hoping, obviously! I changed the priorities to OPK then temps, they were the other way round, I think that is best for this cycle don?t you? Mind you, I am CD29 today and 12dpo so I have to consider that I am still only 11dpo. How are you?

3Cats the temps are weird aren?t they, the thermometer is working too! Emp was 36.4 this morning an hour early so maybe that?s changed the pattern (had to get up to go to the loo ? good sign? I hope so! ) Hope you are feeling confident about this cycle!

Hello Seaside

Hello everyone else! Have to go to a funeral now but will have a chart spot tonight

Chocolatedays · 08/05/2007 12:53

Hello all - this is a bit a a hijack (though I still temp ... just can't handle being the longest mnetter to remain on the conception thread - not sure if that is true but it certainly feels true a lot of time!).

This is specifically for MrsMcJnr (great to see some promising temps hun... fingers crossed for you!)- OK here goes: there is another mnetter who has just started brown spotting (just as you and I did) - I don't want to worry them but I am concerned for them. Did my post to you help or just add to your stress when you were going through this?
Thanks - I don't like to put a dampner on anyone's hope... that's af's job.

cityangel · 08/05/2007 13:11

Hi everyone how's it going. Thanks for all your nice messages. Hello choc

I'm back from hols and refreshed. Sadly it was AF during trip so no Florida conception!

It was great to have access to MN most of the time I was away. I am not temping for one month only just recording bd. Can't use the CBFM either as got back on day 8 and it can only be forced forward to day 5 and I don't want to confuse it.

I suppose one month off won't be too harmful but I will miss the info.

We must be due some BFPs soon. Who is next to test?

Ready · 08/05/2007 18:33

Chocolatedays - Oh flower, it breaks my heart to hear you say that... (hug) I hope that you are ok, and if you are temping, we would really love you to join us. But understand your reasons for not.

Cityangel - Cycle bud ? lovely to have you back! Glad you had a lovely time! I think having a month off will be good ? I am intending to have a month off temping next month as we are going back home to visit family and friends, so I am taking the opportunity for a break. You never know, you always here people say ?we took a month off and fell? ? fingers crossed for us huh!!

MrsMc- Sorry to hear you had to go to a funeral , I hope all went well.
I think that you are right to put the OPKs as the priority as you normally ovulate the day after a + and your temps didn?t reflect that this month did they. Fingers and toes crossed for you.

3cats - Glad I am not the only one to think about mumsnetters! Chuckle. How are you doing? Are you still suffering with your migraines? I suddenly wondered you know, a friend of mine got terrible migraines, turned out she was allergic to cheese ? I am not saying you are allergic to cheese (that would be terribly ironic wouldn?t it!) but perhaps you have a food intolerance that triggers them? Sorry if you have already investigated this area.

Off to chart spot?

Ready · 08/05/2007 18:34

*hear

Chocolatedays · 08/05/2007 20:20

Hey Ready - don't worry about me - we are on the IVF roller coaster - so we have a 1 in 4 chance of getting pg in the next 3 months. (timing tbc!). I am temping but the drugs will throw the data I think.
