Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

Box ercise, I'm not sure if I'm capable of that, never seen it. Does Davina have an ordinary video too?

Freddiesyummymummy, I'm no use either as I've stopped charting. It didn't get me anywhere. TTC #4 but no success, now in cycle 18 or 19 of trying.

Good luck. Lets hope you don't need to chart and it happens quickly for you.

The latest Davina workout is 3x30 minute workouts. One is box, one is pump and the other is tone. The theory is to do them all once a week. But I love the box, so do that more. Honestly, though, if I have made it sound complicated, sorry, because it is really good fun. You don't actually punch anything just the motion. Some air-kicking too - and the beauty part is that one of her instructors does an easy version of things, so you can build up to Davina's level.
Her first DVD The Power of 3, nearly killed me. First time I did it, I couldn't walk without pain the next day. Simply cos I really went for it (big mistake). At work my colleague was teasing me, saying there is no way a workout could have that effect. Well, I leant her the DVD and she was exactly the same - she never doubted me again So if you go for that - take it easy the first few times and build up.

If you want something a little less bouncy - I also have salsacise which is a giggle. Learning Latin dancesteps, and it is really funny, and I do actually feel like I have done something. Not the buzz of an aerobic workout, but definitely better than nowt.

Hi

I found charting really good last time - discovered for the first time the cause of my migraines (they occurred exactly on CD22 every month). Mind you it only took 3 months TTC DS1 - I guess it could get a little boring temp taking month after month....

Ah well - anyone else charting out there? I really had forgotten what fun it is checking for cervical mucus

Hopefully TTC#2 will be as quick (fingers crossed) although I have told DH that it takes longer on the second one so he may be a bit if it is as quick as last time. Mind you I am older now will be 35 so who knows...

Ready · 07/01/2008 16:24

FreddiesYummyMummy, yes hopefully you will catch quick
This thread, once upon a time was full of chart spotters - but they have all got pregnant... I guess a few of us just stayed here as we don't share any other threads together Pretty sure there is room for you to start your own Charting thread and see who is out there. But also you are welcome to chat here with us too

Hi Ready, 3catsoo and Freddy...

I hope you had good Christmases...
I am back from hols and missed you all!

I hope the New Year brings you lots of luck and happiness.

How is your new place Ready?

Ready · 09/01/2008 00:26

Lovely to hear from you City - how's it going? Have you had your scan yet? If so, how did it go? Was it really amazing to see? If not, hope it all goes well for you. New place is great thanks, it's a bit weird not being oop north, but it's good to be settled. DH got a goal this evening, which was nice, 2 so far for his new boys, so happier times - onwards and upwards. Let's hope the baby is not far away . Christmas was good. It's busy time football wise, so plenty of travelling - and of course new years eve is a non-entity, but we don't mind How was your christmas and new year?

Ready · 09/01/2008 00:27

I meant, if not as in not had the scan yet. Not... if not amazing. I hope that was clear

Hi everyone.

Welcome home City. Did you have a fab break?
I echoe Readys comments on your scan. Do let us know.

Had a strange week here.
DH has been dying with a runny nose.

When he felt slighty better he decided he would keep me up for half the night but with little success (I think stress is a huge factor here - he couldn't keep it up, iyswim, sorry if tmi).
That has happened twice in as many weeks.
I really felt for him, even though he seemed fine about it and blamed having a cold (never had that effect before and it was just a slight cold not flu) - are you sensing my lack of sympathy?
After the second time I also felt frustrated because he just rolled over and went to sleep without any consideration for me.

Sorry I sound so mean.

I think maybe his work related stress is perhaps why we haven't had any luck in the last 18months.

I have decided to have a break from trying, for this month at least.
I have also been back to the GP for more antibiotics to get my skin sorted. He has given something that isn't suitable for ttc (I told him I would have a break in order to sort myself out).

I don't feel sad about it strangley, probably because it is just a short pause not completely stopping ttc.

Can I still pop on here though even though this month is out for me?
I would miss you guys.

Ready · 09/01/2008 17:37

Perhaps we need to find a new home to chat 3catstoo? Tuck ourselves away in a quiet corner of _Chat perhaps? Because in all honesty we talk about such a wide range of things don't we not just ttc

Sorry about dh's performance issues, it certainly does sound as if he is stressed out - perhaps that is another reason why he is so reluctant to have another baby, because he knows that he might not be in the best frame of mind for another member of the family? And you sound stressed too, chick, spots are a sign of stress, I get them when I am stressed about things. I reckon taking a break for a bit will do you the world of good, actually. Might be just the ticket - you can then evaluate the situation and talk to dh again about everything.

3catstoo · 09/01/2008 17:42

Sounds good Ready.
Is there a seperate Chat thread or section ?(I'm useless, I stick to what I know)

Ready · 09/01/2008 18:12

Tell you what, we can stay here in conception. I don't think anyone will mind, but we can set up a thread just for chitchat. Here
