Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

hi 3cats! i lurk often so i have been kind of keeping up with things! any signs of af? she was due yesterday wasn't she?

i am 20 wks now and i cant believe how quick its gone!

seasides chart looks great doesnt it, another high temp today too! i REALLY hope its good news for her. i think she is avoiding us cos all the positivity from us would drive her mad when she is trying to stay grounded in case its just an extra long cycle! she is away too but i am sure if she gets a bfp we will all know!

seaside72 · 15/05/2007 09:56

HI 3cats and greedy! - I am here - still away and still no AF! greedy - you are right - I do feel a little bit like everytime I post I am tempting fate and will look like a complete fool when AF eventually begins. I have convinced myself that my chart is all wrong and FF is lying to me!!

I promise to let you know if/when I do test (planning to test Thursday if no AF)

3Cats - fingers crossed for false negatives - while there is no AF there is still hope

MrsMcJnr · 15/05/2007 10:41

Hello ladies all went quite well yesterday. Sorry for the delay in coming on here. Was too tired last night and busy all afternoon at work! Didn?t see the Consultant because she was on holiday but saw her Registrar who was lovely and 7 months pg! Anyway, she took a history and told me that the aspirin was wise and that I should carry on with that. She then said she wasn?t sure about heparin and needed to speak to the Consultant but in the meantime, needed me to have a scan to check that the baby was in the right place. So I went down to EPU, which was odd and then waited and waited as the Registrar argued with the scanning dept as they didn?t want to do the scan because I am only 5 weeks but Reg was arguing that as soon as they had confirmation it wasn?t ectopic, they could start my drugs (Reg had spoken to Consultant in meantime and I will be given Clexane) so I need to go back next Monday for the scan, bloods and injection lessons and then have weekly checks after that. She really didn?t tell me anything I didn?t know about the condition, in fact, she said very little indeed. I am now feeling very nervous about next Monday.

Thanks for the hugs Cityangel

3Cats ? sorry about the spotting and the need for all those tests. Let?s hope you are right about the Xray and next cycle Still keeping my fingers crossed for you this cycle though, not over yet!

Seaside Thursday is a lucky testing day in my opinion! We are all here for you, either way hon.

Will find the charts and have a spot ? I do believe I have gone triphasic!

Hey Greedy ? 20 weeks!! Wow!!! I?m 15 behind you now! (wasn?t I just a couple of days behind you before? )

MrsMcJnr · 15/05/2007 11:51

3Cats - hope AF stays away.

Seaside - I got the 18 temp high congrats message from Ovusoft last night, let's hope you get something similar

Ready · 15/05/2007 11:57

Sorry, I've been away for a bit... missed out on plenty it seems...

3cats - So... from your chart it looks as though CD1 hasn't rolled round again - sorry about the negative tests, but your cycles are never normally this long are they?? LOL at your DH saying you don't have spots - so a good sign then?? Fingers crossed?

MrsMc - Sorry that the consultant was away - but glad you got to see someone nice. Try not to worry about next week. Fingers crossed for you sweets!

Seaside - fingers and toes crossed for you. Hope you are having a lovely time

Cityangel - How you doing? How's it feeling not temping?

Everyone else - hope all is well... Big hugs

mum03 · 15/05/2007 14:47

With this plotting a pregnancy thread seeming to work and be getting some of us pg, I have put my chart on to bump it up!

3cats - still no af? hope she stays away.

Seaside - of course I will not try to temp you to test til thursday, but please post extra early for us then... on tenderhooks here for you.

MrsMc - does look like you have gone tri-phasic! Hope the scan etc goes well on monday.

Ready - have finally gotten round to replying to your email

3catstoo · 15/05/2007 15:06

Hi ladies. nice to hear from you all.

AF just arrived .
I'm hoping it won't last too long and ruin my xray on Monday.

I was so hopeful this time especially as I didn't get the usual build up. It's the first time in 9 months that my lp has gone over 11 days. Or maybe Ovusoft got it wrong.

Oh well now the countdown to ov begins again.

Good luck MrsMc for your scan on Monday.

Fingers crossed for you on Thursday seaside.

Ready · 15/05/2007 15:52

3cats - I'm sorry to hear that AF has arrived and even harder when you got your hopes up. (hug) Hope the x-ray goes well on Monday

mum03 - I've emailed you back

MrsMcJnr · 15/05/2007 16:54

3Cats sorry. Hope Monday goes well.

Hello to all the other ladies

Ready · 15/05/2007 17:14

Oh... nearly forgot... if the new plotting thread is leading to BFPs then technically I should be next!!! ... Although if skipping me, means that Seaside gets her BFP next then I will sign up for that!

seaside72 · 15/05/2007 21:16

LOL Ready - but I hope you know that I am not leaving this thread until you come with me! (and likewise if your BFP comes before mine I will expect you to wait with me even if you are still here with three sprogs and talking about getting your tubes tied!!)

cityangel · 16/05/2007 00:15

3cats sorry things are tough

Things are very stressful with the new job at the moment. I am hoping they will sort themselves soon.

Ready who does your man want to win on Saturday?

Ready · 16/05/2007 08:48

ooooooh Seaside - Your chart is looking sooooooo good!! Fingers and toes are still firmly crossed for you!!

City - To be honest, I haven't asked him who he wants to win - knowing him he will say he doesn't care who wins so long as it's a great game! I want Chelsea to win so that Man U don't do the double! Have you got tickets?

MrsMc - Hope you are feeling ok?

3cats - How are you today?

Mum03 - Hope your temp went up for you today!

Anyone I have missed - hope you are grand?

greedygreedyguzzler · 16/05/2007 08:48

seaside - i just want you to know that i AM stalking you and i wont pretend i am not!!! i really am going o explode if you dont test soon and it will be sooooooooo messy and all your fault! TEST TEST TEST!!!

3catstoo · 16/05/2007 09:40

Morning All.

Not so pmt ish today. Yesterday I was AWFUL.
So sorry if my moodiness shows through on here.
I think that first day of AF is always the hardest. I could have cried yesterday but today I've snapped out of it. Still not happy but looking forward and staying positive. Now hoping AF finishes before my xray and also hoping that the xray works its magic and clears me out and I get pg (wishful thinking but I have to stay positive).

I have just worked out that my next Ov will fall around the time my parents are here . They do not know we are ttc. My Mum would have a fit.
TMI..........our bed is REALLY squeaky, so we can't even attempt anything with them sleeping in the room below us .

How are you all today.

Hope your job settles down City. Hugs to you.

Seaside (roll on Thursday - we can't bare the suspense!).

3catstoo · 16/05/2007 10:08

Greedy are you going to find out what you are having?
I'm only curious as you had a fair gap between bding and Ov. (I know I've read too much rubbish on timing - never tried it but know of friends trying it currently).

I've just told DH that as he can't get time off for my xray he has to make it upto me by putting in extra effort at the right time - neglected to tell him that my parents will be here. Maybe the stress of them being here will delay Ov until they've gone!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 16/05/2007 11:48

convinced i am having a girl 3cats for the same reasons. if not then it blows that theory out of the window. talking of crying, i haven't stopped this morning!..................my mum always comes to look after my kids on a tue when i am at work and they always have great fun together. well, this morning my ds said " i wish nanny could come over everyday" then he said " and i wish she was our mummy". thing is, hes too young to be deliberatley nasty and i know he wasn't saying it to be mean to me, he was just saying what he felt which makes me feel even worse. she has so much energy and plays with them ALL the time when she is here and i feel like such a crap mum now. anyway.........moan over.........set me off crying again typing it all down! not sure why i am posting my moans on this thread either really, sorry!

mum03 · 16/05/2007 12:29

greedy - {{{{hugs}}}}, you are a good mum, children just say things of the moment, your mum probrably gave them sweets or something equally as insignificant, and it does not really mean he loves her more. As for the girl theory, I was convinced of that with my first pg, just like you was way before ov, but I had a boy. A big shock (and hard to adjust mentally afterwards) when I was convinced due to the timing it HAD to be a girl....!!!!!

3cats - glad you are a little bit better today.

seaside72 · 16/05/2007 14:17

3cats - I am so sorry about AF well done for picking yourself up and dusting yourself off on CD2.

greedy - I am so sorry you have had a sad day - sounds like you are having one of those days that I call a black veil day - everything gets to you and tears appear with little prompting. LO's just say what they think in that moment and I am sure in a couple of hours he will snuggling up to Mummy and asking why Grandma smells funny or some such comment Of course they love being with Grandma because she gets to give them 200% for 10 hours a week - you have to try and do that the other 150+ hours of the week!

All my other chartspotting buddies - it appears I may be PG -tried to hold off testing until tomorrow morning but failed so just did a CB digital and it popped up with "Pregnant" in less than 60 seconds - am def in shock but obviously over-excited After 14 months it was truly the last think I expected this month. OMG what do I do now - help! So I expect you all to be coming with me very soon - I'm not sure I like being the newest BFP!

cityangel · 16/05/2007 15:21

Congratulations Seaside how exciting!

I am so so so pleased for you!

Go and see the doc Keep us posted!

Cheer up Greedy you are pg too! Big hugs.

Hi Ready how is your dh now? I was offered tickets but dh is away so gave them to a good family friend.

3catsoo sorry bunny it didn't work out. Especially as you were so hopeful. I hope you are enjoying a large wine/ margarita?

Taking it easy this month as starting new job, but got carried away last night!
New job is going to take a lot out of me and I will have limited daytime MN options

Mum03 how goes it with you?

3catstoo · 16/05/2007 15:25

FANTASTIC Seaside.
Huge congrats to you.
I'm pleased you put us out of our misery too. We were all waiting for that news.

Greedy big hugs to you.
Children can be so cruel sometimes without knowing it. I'm sure he didn't mean it.
They do seem to pick up on the fact that you can have less energy during pg. Mine were like that when I was pg with number 3. I was exhausted. They tried to run rings around me.
Don't let it get you down.
Feel free to have a moan on here. We don't just have to talk about temping. Goodness knows, I moan enough .

Just what I was thinking re the timing and a girl. It will be interesting to see.

I think DH would be more up for another baby if I could guarentee him another boy (naughty DH).

3catstoo · 16/05/2007 15:29

Mum03 interesting that you had a boy in that situation.

City, it's hard not to feel positive when AF comes late. I must remember next time to not count my chickens, iyswim.
Take it easy.

seaside72 · 16/05/2007 15:35

thanks 3cats and cityangel
TBH I am in shock I think! fingers crossed it is a good bean and in the right place

MrsMcJnr · 16/05/2007 19:12

hi guys, just popping in very quickly Seaside - I'm over the moon for you and can't wait to have a chart spot.

pussycatmomma · 16/05/2007 19:24

I just wanted to say congratulations to seaside on her bfp...it does give renewed hope to me whenever I see a bfp when someone has been trying a long time.
The very best of luck to you sweetie. xx
