Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 26/10/2007 21:06

Should clarify, MIL doesn't know we are ttc.

cityangel · 28/10/2007 16:52

Tell MIL to go stick it!

I know plenty of people's MILs that are like that its a shame really. Just wind her up yourself... yes when we plan to have kids we'll bring them up abroad should do it!

The weather is miserable today so snuggling up indoors, how about you?

How are you 3catsoo? big hug

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 28/10/2007 18:15

I wish I was brave enough to stand up for myself

The weather is poo, got all wrapped up and went down the pub to watch my boys outclass Liverpool and only come away with a point. Congrats on sticking 6 past Sven's lot yesterday

cityangel · 28/10/2007 23:21

Yes I went to the game yesterday Sorry you didn't win honest!

Trying not to get my hopes up too much after the HSG.

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 03/11/2007 20:36

I've been without internet access (with the exception of my mobile phone, which gives limited - not enough to look at the threads on MN ) and have been MN cold turkey. Argh!

How are you City and 3cats??? Any news??

Nothing really to report from here, still living in limbo, in all aspects of life really. CD10 here

cityangel · 04/11/2007 23:40

No news here... lots of nookie this month so fingers crossed!

trying not to get my hopes up too much... should know in 10 days.

I hope the limbo sorts itself out :0)

Ready · 05/11/2007 10:42

Well that is a good enough reason as any to be away from MN City Fingers crossed for 10 days time

cityangel · 05/11/2007 22:46

Hey Ready... I think dh has got to the hopeful phase I was at 4 months ago have you found that with yours?

Ready · 06/11/2007 16:45

It's funny you say that, DH and I were talking about it last night, I asked how long he thought it would take when we first started. I was gutted when he said about 6 months All this time I have felt angry, sad, etc but don't think about how he is feeling. Well, I do, but you know what I mean - I have the tears and tantrums and he picks up the pieces, but all this time he has been getting disappointed too.

Last night he said "we'll give it a really good go this month, yeah - what CD is it again?"

Our poor dh's deserve big cuddles I think

How are you?

cityangel · 07/11/2007 21:05

Ready my experience is exactly the same

Totally and utterly fed up this month

Now is the perfect time job wise to get pregnant

How is 3catstoo?

3catstoo · 08/11/2007 14:10

Hi ladies,

Sorry to hear that you are fed up City.
Lots of nookie sounds good though !
Fingers crossed.

How are you Ready?

AF is on her way here .

Spotting, spots, pms, migraine ........
Not a big migraine yet though, this week.

I asked DH if we could move the deadline to the new year. It would make more sense to keep trying until end December and then start the new year knowing that was it.

He didn't go for it. He said I could find some excuse every time.

I told a RL friend that we were stopping in Oct. She was very unsympathetic when I said AF was on it's way (spotting since Tuesday).

I had lots of friends around this morning for a larger than normal coffee morning. There were 3 tiny babies. It didn't help the hormones I have to say.

I hate this depressing feeling in the run upto AF, feels like I'm constantly moaning.

DH is home again tomorrow as the trains are messed up again. So I'll wish you a happy weekend now as I won't get on the pc tomorrow.

Big hugs all round.

cityangel · 10/11/2007 00:07

Oh 3catstoo sounds sooo hard... I really can't find the right words as although we're in a similar situation in wanting the same thing the circumstances are different.

I agree with babies everywhere I went to the pub on a Friday night and the landlady was babysitting a cute 3 month year old!

Sorry about AF sounds like no fun and don't apologise we've can all relate to low points especially just before AF

Big hugs from cold London...

Ready big hugs... shall we ambush 3catstoo and meet for Christmas drinks... 6 weeks to go!
Have a great weekend CA

3catstoo · 11/11/2007 20:53

Thanks for the support city.
AF arrived as expected on Fri.

DH is lurking so will catch up tomorrow.

Hugs xxxx

Ready · 11/11/2007 22:45

Hi girls... I am really sorry that I haven't been about much lately. I have intermittent internet access, very little time on my hands when I have the access, and some issues in RL that are not great Things are not going well. Because of those things it means I am not able to keep up with MN as I normally do. But I want you both to know that I am thinking of you.

Definitely on for Christmas drinks though! xx

cityangel · 12/11/2007 00:20

Oh dear Ready and 3catstoo life isn't treating us very well at the moment is it

Don't worry about when you can get on MN just pop in whenever you can we all get busy and distracted. It's nice for me to know you're out there somewhere. Xmas drinks sound nice

Not much new with me... 2ww will soon be AF me thinks...

Ready · 14/11/2007 23:27

Fingers crossed for you City, sorry about AF 3cats - Thinking of you both. Hugs.

cityangel · 16/11/2007 21:21

Trying and failing miserably not to get too excited. Have never been pg so nearly fell off the loo when the test changed +!

Its very hard telling you the news as I know how hopeful you are to get lucky too. I hope I bring our group luck

Where is everyone in their cycle? Fingers crossed xxx

PS: I hope you let me stay on the thread

seaside72 · 17/11/2007 17:26

aka - old chartspotter (hope you remember me and don't just think I am some random weirdo btw!!!!)

Ready · 17/11/2007 19:05

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!! I haven't had proper internet access, as you know, and I just grabbed five minutes and what wonderful news!! So excited!!! How are you feeling?? That HSG worked wonders didn't it!! Woo!! Congratulations chick!!!!!!!! [grin

cityangel · 17/11/2007 21:07

Thanks for your lovely messages you really cheered me up as it still really feels like I was dreaming yesterday!

Ready I guess the HSG must have helped but will never know for sure... I really hope you get lucky too you soooo deserve it.

Seaside you secret lurker! I was considering pretending to not recognise you but decided that was silly and you might believe me!

I am going to test again tomorrow.

Dh has got excited and read 5 chapter of the pg book (a neighbour gave us when they decided not to have any more kids) I am trying to get him to chill out! I think I'll be way more excited in Jan if it lasts.

I don't know how things are going to pan out as I haven't been pg before so I am not going anywhere...

I am not sure whether to go to the doctors yet either. My wait and see. I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Fingers crossed for you all

Ready · 17/11/2007 21:54

I would say as soon as you have a bfp then it is the right time to get to the gp and let them know what's going on. I am so chuffed for you!! It has given me hope, it really has! There's no reason why I won't be next

seaside72 · 17/11/2007 22:25

So excited

city - if you need anything or feel up to it come over to the TTC grads thread in pg - it is the only pg thread I am on as a regular - actually - sorry but I have already posted your news over there in the hopes you may visit us there sometime soon Sorry to have stolen your thunder but we are running out of new recruits!! I totally know how you feel about disbelief and uncertainty I was the same - never ever had a BFP before and was so nervous even though had no bad history except taking too long IYKWIM??- I just think it is because when you have waited so long it seems too good to be true?

Ready - it will be you (imagine big lottery finger appearing out of the sky!) Take heart - it has taken city 15 cycles and it took me 20 since I came off the pill - 14 since I figured out what my cycle meant but still 20 months of active TTC really IYKWIM. I know it is no consolation hon but it does happen - eventually - just takes its own sweet time.

3cats - big waves and hugs hon.

iampgatlast · 18/11/2007 15:52

cityangel - i just wanted to say huge congratulations, i dont know if you remember me? used to be desperate2bmum think we were cycle buds at one point? i know how long you have been trying. so so pleased for you!!! look after yourself and beanie xxxxx

cityangel · 18/11/2007 19:38

Seaside how nice I will pop over and say hello but I don't feel any different so I feel like a bit of a fraud. We've done 6 tests now and they have all been positive so for now I appear to be pg I like your positivity, it seems like only yesterday when I was really starting to think it wasn't possible. I shall pop over and say hi

Desperate to be I missed you how are things?

I really don't want to leave the conception threads and obviously if things don't work out I won't need to anyway.

God it's miserable out there so staying in with juice isn't sooo bad. Ready I would say go out there and enjoy naughty things... soft cheese, wine, sushi I am missing them already
