September Bus

I want to go up to every pregnant woman and say "how? How did you do that? Did you take magic pills?" It just seems so impossible right now

So just want a little whine....I mentioned this on a bus a few months ago so sorry anyone that's heard the story before....my cousin got his relative young (20) girlfriend of less than 9 months, pregnant. Apparently they only had unprotected sex once!!!! Once he finally picked up the courage to tell my grandparents (grandad very much head of the household) they said they were happy for him but wished it was in better circumstances. Grandad then says to me seperately a few weeks later that he always thought it would be me who put the first great grandchild in his arms. I'm 29 been with my DH 10 years and married for 3 years. They don't know we are TTC (on cycle 9 now!) So heart breaking enough...fast forward to this week and cousins baby has been born all healthy and happy which is brilliant. On the down side my uncle who doesn't really have anyone to share the news with has sent me just over 50 photos of the new baby in 2 days! 😯😯 I'm trying to be all oh wow so cute he's lovely congratulations etc but I'm a little sick of it now! What can I say?? Feel like it just need to grin and bare it as it's selfish for him not to be able to celebrate just cos I can't seem to get pregnant! Agh!

I remember you mentioning this Mrsjones! It's pretty tough going at the best of times, so I don't really have any advice exactly. Unfortunately there aren't really words for 'that's great news and I'm happy for you guys but at the same time please stop because we're TTC'. I'm sure some people just don't get the emotional stress of it sometimes anyway.

@unicorns thank you. You're right there are now words for that. Also I realise this seems trivial in comparison to others difficult times TTC. Sorry just felt like I needed to get it off my chest

Urgh that sounds awful @Mrsjones17 I came off Facebook because I was sick of the baby bombs every where. My best friend is pregnant after DIUI but it worked first time and I feel so frustrated for myself and I struggle to be happy some days for her and I feel like such a shit because of it :(

@Janefx40 I've added you to our spreadsheet regardless!

So I've got my period, but it came on this afternoon so do I count tomorrow as day 1 or what?!

@MrsJones17 Firstly, you're more than welcome. Secondly, you're feelings are completely justified and understandable. Never apologise for how you feel. I may only just be back so doing a bit of a u-turn I guess, but even though we're at different stages, we're on the same journey. And you're on your journey as a individual, as well as with your partner. That's your journey and no-one can take that away from you, just as how you can't control how you feel!

@juneybean I think as long as you have proper flow of red blood then it is cd1. I'm no expert tho. Sorry about AF :(

Sisters just announced she's trying for another baby, she just needs to look at her partner and she gets pregnant. I love my nieces to pieces and obviously I'll be so happy for her but I kinda wanna say to her back off the next pregnancy should be mine. She's just being selfish lol.

So today I cried 3 times over pointless stuff. Apparently today being a hairdresser is the worse job in the world! Haven't told work mates we're trying as dont want the constant questions, so had to keep blaming the hormone that have come with AF! Me and her are definitely not on talking terms after last months knock a door run and now she's messed up my calendars! On the plus a massive glass of wine has definitely helped

A May baby means the whole of summer off!

Thank you ladies! I am far to dramatic for my own good I completely own that lol I'm completely to blame though I got my hope up so high then smashed back down to the ground. I think a good night sleeps is all that's needed. We can do it this month ladies let's get those baby dancing underway xx

@leahmegs you poor thing. It is so emotionally draining. I cried all day Saturday when I got my menstrual migraine (which means I'm not preggers). OH came in to find me sobbing on the floor because some mud had come off my shoes...just a small example! On the plus side I do feel better once AF has arrived. That's the thing about cycles...they come round again and we get another shot! X

My Facebook has become baby and pregnancy central, there are family and friends popping babies out everywhere and I just have to smile because I already have three why should I feel sad

Seems like AF is arriving - had pink cm this morning. Which is what I would normally get for two days before proper AF. Do I count today as CD1 or when I get the proper AF? guess it be a large for me tonight.

Sorry @pixieinlove to hear about AF. We were just chatting about this. I think it's when you get a full flow of bright red that is cd1. X

I decided to take my emotional ass to bed, have definitely woken up slightly more positive today. Maybe I was just over tired!

That's funny @Janefx40 I normally cry because my boyfriend hasn't said something in the right tone of voice lol. That's exactly what I want to do now, get her in full flow so I can finally get my calendars sorted 

@pixieinlove I'm sorry that bloody AF has arrived for you, i classes yesterday as my first day as Wednesday was pathetic!

What's everyone's time of the month food. Mine has to be chocolate and cheese. Not together thought lol xx
