AF has arrived for me 2 days early this morning, bitch! Also technically means I am still on the August bus as my next period is due on the 30th August, two in one month what an absolute fucker! I think I'll just stay put though

I chickened out of testing.... temp was same as yesterday but I had a glass of wine last night so not sure if that had an affect and it would have been lower?

So I want to start temping this month. When I do I take my temp. From which cycle date and what means what? any advice or tips would fab!!

Think I'll just plonk myself here as this seems more likely.

@pixieinlove do you want to do vaginal or oral?

If oral start from day 1 of your next cycle... I started after I finished bleeding because ick! But if you kept wipes by the side of your bed and didn't use tampons nothing to stop you checking from day 1.

Bear in mind it cannot help you before ovulation, it'll only help you to pinpoint ovulation afterwards.

Do you have a BBT thermometer? It's got to be to two decimal places.

So for the follicular phase (the bit before ovulation) you're just tracking so that when ovulation occurs and your temp goes up it has something to compare it to.

Are you using an app? Fertility Friend is great as it plots it all for you and gives you cross hairs (just a line to show low temps and high temps.)

@juneybean I think I'll try Orally for the cycle 2nof trying. Although still waiting for AF like you hehe!!

So would the graph mean that on the 29th you ovulated?

On that graph I ovulated on the 22nd July (where the dotty line comes down). So I'm 13dpo now.

A lot of charts look for a fair dip to pinpoint ovulation which you can see I did have.

@juneybean sorry to be asking all these questions. But what would your temp do if you were pregnant? Just curious as to why you didn't test because of your temp?

Oh no no no about the pink CM....!!

Typically a temp would remain high - so you can imagine how excited I was a few days ago!)

So although my temp didn't drop any more today I was still nervous to test - probably just a hunch I had rather than my temp today haha.

I think I'm most definitely on this bus. Had a Dr appointment just because I still had some cramping and whatnot. Better to be safe than sorry. Now I have a week's worth of antibiotics. Here's to September!!

I must admit I'm starting to feel bitter especially when people join the buses when they're already late on their periods, feels like they just want to rub it in our faces (I know they don't but.... negative nancy over here).

I think that makes sense juneybean. Is it a 'well you still have a shot and could be pregnant' thought? I can understand where you're coming from, especially as the months tick over and it's just increasingly heartbreaking.

Know the feeling @juneybean im sitting at work almost an emotional reck because AF is being a massive douche. She had my hopes up and then slapped me in the face.. as well as 5 people on Facebook announcing there pregnancy! I really hate being female sometimes

Have been watching the August bus and now have had the joy of AF arriving 3 days too soon. Hoping this is the bus for me!

I realised early on that I have a short Luteal phase. For the past month and a half I have been trying B6. Bit worried that was what caused my early period (normally pretty regular) and not sure whether to continue with it this month...

I hope we all have a successful month

@juneybean I'm so glad you said that! I was feeling the same way but felt like I was being mean!!!

Not sure I belong here tho as think I am due to get my next period still in August (what a charming month!)

Hi @MiniatureSeaShells don't know anything about short luteal phases I'm afraid but didn't want to ignore your post (I'm 40 tho so have plenty of other challenges!

I really hope I'm not one of those people I think I'll be lucky enough if September is even an option tbh!
