Sorry for all the AF! It's only just September now so most of us should get another shot at getting BFPs on this bus.

@PineapplePrincess Yes I am the same. 2WW is a nightmare - AF not as bad. I think it's the hope/fear/uncertainty that messes with my head. Once period arrives I know for sure and it's all about the next cycle. Actually for me it's now the second week of 2WW and particularly last 4 days that drive me nuts.

I've not done a pregnancy test since May. So I basically only done one since we were TTC and that was a pointless one as I'd had a period but was feeling weird and wanted to check. I always get my migraine 11dpo so by the time I could test, I know I'm out. Was determined to do it this month anyway even tho I didn't expect a positive - it's depressing never testing - but there was really no point as I could feel AF coming.

NimbleKnitter · 01/09/2017 07:43

Pretty sure I'm out. Temp hasn't moved in three days

Steaksauce · 01/09/2017 08:20

Sorry to everyone who AF has arrived for Sad.
I'm staying positive and taking AF week as an excuse to eat chocolate and to eat all the things pregnant people shouldn't eat just in case next month is the one! Haha
Wedge of Brie and pint of wine anyone? Grin

NimbleKnitter · 01/09/2017 08:49

Bath. I'm going to have one EVERY DAY

Sorry to hear about all the AFs!

I caved again & tested this morning with a FRER & it was a big white BFN! So think I'm out & off to the October Bus - next AF due 8th October! Damn my long cycles!

DoAsDreamersDo · 01/09/2017 09:07

So Ovia decided to amend my fertility score this morning so that instead of being a score of 10 today, I'm down to 8.5!! Good job we managed to DTD on Monday and Thursday. I was hoping to enjoy this weekend in bed (which I still might in case it's wrong, which is highly likely).

McTufty · 01/09/2017 09:24

So many AFs Sad Drink all the gin and eat all the goats cheese!

lovepinacolada how many dpo are you? You're not out till AF shows!

doasdreamersdo definitely spend the weekend in bed! Ovia can be wrong and what harm can it do...?

nimbleknitter does that matter? As long as you're above coverline anything is possible! Smile

LovePinaColada · 01/09/2017 09:36

Think I am 10 DPO! AF due the 4th!

LovePinaColada · 01/09/2017 09:36

Go go go @DoAsDreamersDo! Good luck!

McTufty · 01/09/2017 09:49

Then you're not out at all pinacolada!! Still early. 31% of pregnant people get a negative 10dpo:

NimbleKnitter · 01/09/2017 10:09

@McTufty very true!

Guess I'm not as good at this waiting malarkey as I'd like to think I am!

pixielove123 · 01/09/2017 10:20

Sorry about all the BFN and AF's arriving. Loving the sound of going out for a big night of food and drink that we aren't allowed.

I agree we not out till AF arrived.

Still haven't a clue what is going on with me (wish I took my temp this morning) but still no sign of AF after the spotting at the beginning of the week. Have POAS three mornings in a row and all BFN! CM creamy. Some apps say AF due today some say tomorrow another says 3rd.

I also feeling like I ride a roller coaster of emotions in the TWW especially the last 4 days and then when AF starts I get over it and move forward with the next cycle. So at the moment just wish I could decide which way to turn my focus.

Mrsjones17 · 01/09/2017 10:23

Im out. Spotting heavier and tested with FMU and stark white BFN

Meggimoo · 01/09/2017 10:34

steaksauce - love it! Yup, when AF came I was reaching straight for the wine...runny eggs... get it while you can right!
juneybean- loving all your hard work on our spreadsheet, thank you

Meggimoo · 01/09/2017 10:41

Also, I've been doing a little research (googling) in spotting before AF. Spotting is apparently defined as being outside of your usual monthly bleed. Which got me wondering if my 'spotting' is not actually spotting but is just a light start to AF, which would mean my cycle days are all out by 2 days. Going to try to monitor potential ovulation symptoms in minute detail to try to figure it out. Feeling confused! 🤔

juneybean · 01/09/2017 10:49

@meggimoo I'm sure we're told to count day 1 as the first full bleed though.... like on previous months when I checked CM it's been pink so I've known AF is coming but it would be a day or two before a full bleed which I count as CD1.

So bloody confusing!

OP posts:
Meggimoo · 01/09/2017 10:59

Isn't it! Mine's usually more browny than pinky... feel like we need a dulux colour chart or something!

pixielove123 · 01/09/2017 11:45

'Bloody' confusing. Hahahaha. @juneybean Grin

juneybean · 01/09/2017 11:48

Grin gotta keep it lighthearted

Janefx40 · 01/09/2017 12:44

Love the idea of a colour chart but please don't start posting pics! Someone did that once on another board I was on and I have to admit it was a bit much!!! I thought I was fairly unsqueamish but seeing a pic of a used sanitary towel was a step too far for me!!!

NimbleKnitter · 01/09/2017 13:03

Ok, this is nuts, but apparently you can use blood on home pregnancy tests, to get the result sooner.

This is because hCG is more concentrated in blood than urine.

It makes your result panel red, but you can still get the result.

Is it madness that I'm considering this? I really hate peeing on a stick

NimbleKnitter · 01/09/2017 13:05

I should say - you do need to use a proper sample needle - like the kind in blood testing kits.

Not sure if a regular prick would do it

juneybean · 01/09/2017 13:41

Oooh @nimbleknitter I've heard of that before! Surely a regular prick would work though :S
