Wow @Fia256 that doctor sounds like a right wa*ker. Hope you get a much more understanding doctor next time, having experienced a loss myself I know how mentally draining it can be so glad you managed to call back and complain!

@juneybean sorry af arrived early for you! Really hope this next cycle is the one.

@roseandtime I use my LH only OPK's late morning. Need to try and not use the loo for a couple of hours before and not to drink too much. If the opk is nearing positive I will test again in the afternoon and before bed.

Got a phone call back from the Dr, who was lovely.

Said to wait to test again until Monday. She will then ring me to find out the result - if it's negative or still light but no bleeding, to come in for bloods. And if it's positive she will sort out getting me in for a 6 week scan.
If I do start bleeding she said to ring her and leave a message and she will ring me back.

Felt so much more supported speaking to her and she worded everything very sensitively. If I do start bleeding, she is going to then refer me to a specialist to start looking into why it keeps happening

fia I'm sorry you're going through this but pleased you have now spoken to someone more supportive

@Fia256 what a nightmare. Poor you. My GP is a bit similar (tho I've never been in the distressing situation you are in). I went to see a different Doctor the other day and it was like a revelation - well done for making a complaint and fingers crossed for a positive result on Monday.

Hi all. I think I may have ovulated twice this cycle. 5/6 days of positive OPK from CD12 onwards and EWCM from CD8 to cd17 which is highly unusual for me. Loads of clear ovulation pain which I don't feel normally. Eek. Testing next Friday 8th

The positive OPK may have been your LH surge, but you may not have ovulated then.

You may then have tried ovulating a second time, hence the cervical fluid.

Course you may have ovulated twice, but that would be unusual

It's possible that it was a first attempt then a second which was successful (I'm not temping). But this pattern is v unusual for me.

So sorry hear you had a grumpy bugger of a doctor @Fia256 - but so pleased you managed to speak to another who was lovely! Keep us all updated.

Not 100% sure - maybe I do this evening but my UTI & antibiotics are causing all sorts of pain/sickness so goodness know what is what!

Evening all.

Just thought I'd update that AF made an appearance bang on schedule on Tuesday. So seven months post miscarriage and still no luck, was really hoping to be pregnant again for my original due date, 18 days and counting. Gah!

Altho' what I did figure out this month is I am an emotional wreck with the uncertainty of being pregnant. The 2WW is a killer, the last week particularly so. Once AF appears I am much more accepting. Is anyone else like this, or just me?

Anyways, technically still on the September bus as will be due AF again by 26th September. Off on holidays from next week, so not planning my usual OV testing and Preseed. Maybe a more casual approach will work wonders!?!

Sorry for AF @juneybean, @Steaksauce and @PineapplePrincess. Same for me, AF has arrived this morning as I expected. Disappointed but it is what it is, onwards and upwards to cycle 9. Next AF is due 29th so I'm just gonna straddle two buses again 😎
