Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

New to MN! DP and I are starting this month TTC

TTC #3 (DS 12yrs &DD 10yrs)
Age: 39

Am taking folic acid and a multivitamin as well as Zinc and Maca Root Powder in my morning smoothie.

Hi pixie! I have never heard of maca root - what is it meant to do? I'm intrigued!

Intrigued by Maca Root too! I have been taking folic acid & multi-vits but I am also open to other ideas!

When is everyones fertile week? Mine is week beginning the 17th! 🤞🤞

I read that it boost your fertility. And I'm worried that my eggs aren't that great given my age... so i willing to try anything. I've also heard that Green Tea also boost fertility. But then I heard on MN that it prevents the absorption of folic acid. So I thought I'd take my folic acid in the morning and my green tea either late afternoon or at night?!?

Oh and the Period tracker says my fertile week is next week - ovulation day 17th and then 5 days fertile thereafter.

Jumping on this bus as July's crashed af turned up last night second attempt starting next week !

@lovepinacolada I've got 4 apps on the go and they all tell me a different date for the start of my fertile week 🙈 so it'll be somewhere between the 11th-16th July. Trying to track cm and bbt so those might help!

@Shanners123 I have two apps - P Tracker & Ovia - they are one day apart! Just trying this month to DTD every other day & hoping that's the answer! 😍 I bet I also have four apps by the end of this cycle 😂 it's all so addictive!

I think my cycle is longer than yours, mine is usually 35 days!

I hope nobody minds but I made a spreadsheet to keep up to date with everyone!

@juneybean - love it - it's amazing - it can be really hard to remember everyone's story.

I'm 40 - suppose I didn't want to admit it as feel a bit nuts TTC#1 at this age - but that was just how life dealt out the cards. My bfp date would be 4th August or thereabouts.

@loosemoose28 hope you're feeling ok after your treatment and that it does the trick.

@lovepinacolada yeah I'm normally about 26-28 days. Just testing the apps so we'll see if they start to align with more info.

Also anyone tracking bbt? Not sure if I'm doing it right. Mine started at 36.7 3 days ago and now it's 37.1 which on the graph looks like it shoots way up. When I wake up I chuck off the duvet and take it straight away.. Should I let my body acclimatise without the duvet first though or does it matter? Cant believe I'm asking such inane questions.. What has become of me!

Fab @juneybean. Not too sure yet of all the terminology but I think this would be my first cycle if that means my first month of trying?

@Shanners123 I temp, I do it in my foof as found my oral temps very up and down depending on whether I'd been sleeping with mouth open or not. I don't acclimatise, just wake up and stick it in! At the beginning of my cycle my temps are all over the place, and even after ovulation can be a bit up and down. How long have you been doing it for?

@passmethewine okay cheers, good to know! Yeah I'm doing the same. Only been doing it for the last 4 days, but missed a day yesterday. What happens when you miss a day? Does fertility friend guess what it probably was?

I'm not 100% sure of all acronyms so might get them wrong! Currently waiting for af to arrive as it is 2 days late but 3 negative tests aren't very encouraging! Trying to stay positive for August!

cycle 1.5 (trying not to count this cycle too much due to this surgery)
TTC no.1
No date for BFP as I have no F*ing clue what my body is up to right now.

BUT BUT BUT saying that......
I have now not had AF since 1st June. Was due around time of surgery. POAS yesterday morning surprise surprise BFN.

However yesterday afternoon I had ovary pain and pinky mucous- Just like when I believe I ovulate- always have done on PoP pill.

So, sod it. We DTD last night.

I won't POAS (I promise myself) until 24/7/17 at the very earliest.

However I am still pretty sure I will be on the August Bus or probably the September Bus at this rate.

Can i join?

Shanners I temp, I'm actually swapping to vaginally instead of oral this month, so haven't yet started as still bunged up with a tampon and not rightly sure how that would work....

@Shanners123 no if you miss a day FF will just continue the line to the next day...I think it always makes it a dashed line instead of a solid like so that you can see there have been inconsistencies

Dh said that it takes the average 40+ 2 years to conceive the other day - this does not fill me with joy :(
