Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

Stats:

Ttc 2
Cycle 6
Bfp due 4th august

I'm on board too- just name changed...

Month 1 of trying
Nearly 38 years young

Yeah! @intelligentPutty. Last month we didn't DTad until a week after I finished AF so was thinking perhaps we started too late last month, so we thought if we DTD every 2 days as soon as af finished then we should do a lot better!

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I think perhaps wait and test again, it can screw with you! I had this happen to me last month and it turned out negative! I think if it's pink then it's positive, but if it's not then negative!

What's this about oral sex though? Me and DH don't do oral but I'm curious to know how it messes things up?

Morning all! Got on the bus at the beginning of the month, but still in with a chance for August due to short cycle. Stats again:

Cycle 4
Age: 36
TTC #2 (DS is almost 2)

Think we've done all the trying we can do this cycle, so officially in 2ww. Trying not to drive myself too mad - this is my first cycle using opks and I think we timed it right, but who knows? Going to be strong and not test until AF is due. Have lots of social stuff going on in the run up, so don't want to put a downer on things. Am trying to eat right and stay positive

@Charchar23 it's basically the opposite of what the conceive plus lube seems to be for.
The saliva is not good for the sperm and 'can' stop them swimming to where they need to get too.
This site says it's a myth but worth taking note of i thought.

Hi all. Just checking back in. Now approximately 2dpo. On holiday and have dtd everyday over fertile window using preseed. Yesterday (1dpo) struck down with some weird type of stomach bug, abdominal cramps and flu like symptoms and was pretty much passed out all day in hotel room. Feeling queasy and crampy still today but made it to the beach. Starting my first ever tww and will try not to obsess about symptoms good luck everyone still on the bus!

I'm around 5 dpo now. Not too obsessed this month so that's good but possibly because I'm not feeling positive. BFP/AF due 25th Aug. Holiday the day after so that will take my mind off if it's bad news.

Oh thanks for the info on it @intelligentPutty I know me and DH don't do oral but it's good to know I guess haha!

Awww no @BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy! How rubbish! Just rest up and drink lots of water! Try not to go crazy and symptoms check.

I know I keep going back and forth but rn I'm fairly certain AF is on her way in the next day or so. The cramps are ridiculous and everything south seems to be pretty closed off and swollen or something so ah I tried

Think boobs are a little sensitive. Or maybe I'm being super suss of any symptoms. Sure this happens before af too.... hate this symptom spotting.

Ovia reckons I'm not due af until next weds but that would make it day 31 of cycle. I think it's averaging based on since mmc too.

Btw @UnicornsandRainbows1 it made me check back on my dates and since date of my d&c it was 6weeks before af came again. Don't know if that's helpful or not to you but thought it might help. X

@intelligent oh really? Wtf is this then?! I had my d&c on the 19th so what's that, 4 weeks? I had some weird needle shooting pain there for the last couple of weeks, unfortunately I had it as a symptom for pregnancy, but also had it after surgery as everything altered back to normal. There was a tiny break but god knows what it means right now. Hoping it's something positive for you.

Well that's just me and of course we are all different. Maybe just keep on bd until BFP or AF does come. Thinking of u. Xx

Argh, due to ovulate tomorrow but there's nothing doing on my OPKs. Could my urine be too diluted to register? I've just been using cheepies but I think if this month doesn't work out then next month for sure I'll be using Clearblue.

@HolyShmoly It's possible it could be diluted. I'd say act as though tomorrow is ov. time and then keep trying the opks for a bit in case it's a couple of days off; that way you've covered yourself a bit more. I have read about some women online who got negatives but still must have ovulated that month because they fell pregnant. It might just be one of those months I'm afraid.

@holyshmoly When I ovulated this month I had no warning with the OPKs (one step ones).

Literally got a positive one out of the blue no faints before hand. Ovulated next day. Got a BFP this month.

@Loosemoose28 and @Holyshmoly I don't bother with the opk's surely better to DTD every few days as soon as af finished ;) more excuse to have fun too hehe! Plus I go by how my body feels too.

@UnicornsandRainbows I guess when you want something so bad it is hard to feel anything but sad!

Well guys, I appreciate all your positive vibes but I've just woken up to cramping and went to the bathroom where there's the beginning of blood sigh 11dpo and I was going to test tomorrow on the morning of my wedding anniversary. Well at least no wonder I've been an angry douchebag all week.

Hey, do you know that I said I had AF? well...it's just been on and off spotting (just when I wipe) for 3 days now. Wtf. I normally start light but not this light. Also, if this is AF then it was 5 days early. Any ideas? I'm 10/11 dpo if this isn't AF but got a clear bfn this morning. Tearing my hair out

Maybe wait a couple more days then test again. Fucking rollercoaster. I soooo get checking every wipe!

@intelligentPutty well it's brown at the moment and barely there, but over the last 3-4 days it has been light pink/orangey at points as well. The other morning it was briefly red (but sort of translucent red?) which is what made me sure I was out. Sorry to go into so much detail! Can IB last this long? And shouldn't I have a faint line on a boots own first response test by now?

Personally I have only ever trusted the cb digital.
But u have to wait a bit more for them (I think)...

@intelligentPutty I guess it's just the waiting game. I found a couple of ICs left over from last month, so I will use them tomorrow and the next day. Please keep everything crossed! I haven't told my DH that this might not be AF after all because I don't want to get his hopes up. Xx

@Polly well I was expecting it to go full on. My stomach feels like it's full on, but it just isn't so I'm actually really confused. It's just some really light orangey/maybe light brown thing. Maybe it's just going to take a couple of days to sort itself out properly
