Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

Bfp due 4th august

Hi ladies, I'm jumping on this bus too (long time lurker, first time poster)

CD2 so BFP due around 11th August
Cycle 3

I knew that July wouldn't be my month. This month I'll be BD every other day from the moment AF stops to the time she doesn't come back.

Haha yes I will update tonight! Had a migraine yesterday on my birthday of all days so was out of action! Grrr!

I've signed up to the clearblue clinical trial that mumsnet was advertising the other day... hope the stuff comes before next week

What a nightmare to have a migraine on your birthday - I am a fellow sufferer so feel your pain!

Ahh thanks love I woke up with it and got sent home from work. We ended up ordering Chinese instead of the planned meal out and I could only eat half. Not like me at all!

What do you all do while TTC and getting sick. Do you take medication that can take when not pregnant or do you live like you are pregnant and just take what is allowed while pregnant?

Can I join in? We casually started trying this month. Not tracked ovulation exactly, but we dtd CD14 and CD19 with ovulation around CD18 according to my period tracker app. (30-31 day cycles usually)

pixie I still take my codeine if I get my headaches as it won't cross over to any embryo that is there before a BFP. But I try not to drink.

For those who use ovulation tests when I. Your cycle so you start to test? I got some cheapies of amazon to use this cycle. TIA

ally depends how long your cycle is but I generally start day 9 doing two a day and around day 13 I'll start doing more to see if it gets darker.

Pixie I have the worst cold ever. Took some ibuprofen and apparently you're not supposed to (mainly after 30 weeks), the advice is to replace it with paracetamol.

Oh yeah I stopped taking ibuprofen before I started TTC. It can cause miscarriages

@Refilona so sorry you have the worst flu. I have too. Was taking anti-histamines at night. But that was while AF was around. But yesterday I had the worst headache ever and Paracetamol just wasn't touching sides so I eventually took something with Codien ... @juneybean thanks for that info about Ibruproohen. I'll be sure to stay away from that then....

@pixie I'm trying to stay off medication altogether but if I really need something ie. Am on death's door I will take the safest version. Generally stick to paracetamol and lots of water/sleep!

@ally I start day 10, currently on day 12 and nothing yet. Goes to show! A couple of my apps say I'm well into my fertile window while others say I'm just starting, so we'll see when lh starts to peak.

Started ttc on cd12 last month which is where I am now, so I'm happy I've got a bit of a head start this month. Hopefully get peak opk today so can dtt a few times over the weekend. Infact planning on doing that regardless! 😂

I have about 4 apps that I'm using and some say I'm ovulating tomorrow and others say end of next week. What does everyone else's say? Anyway going to be dtd every second day now for the next week and half!!

Happy saturday ladies. It's been my FW this week so been getting down to it every other day. I'm CD16 now but have a 27 day cycle. OPK said peak fertility yesterday. Not sure my OH will be up for doing it again... 4 times in one week is quite the challenge when full time working / social commitments, etc so think we've done everything we can.
Now for that dreaded 2WW. AF due 27th July.

Currently on CD4. AF was four days late which is very unusual. Bought a couple of tests and POAS before bed, was negative but found a distinct but faint blue line in the morning! POAS that evening, came back negative and no line appeared the next morning and AF arrived 😔 I came off the pill a year ago having been on it for 15 years but TBH haven't really been TTC. After the BFN I'm keen to TTC now! Thing I've noticed is that my cycles are extremely short, between 20-25 days! This month it was 28 days so perhaps they're starting to lengthen? I've had a stressful month at work so making an effort to eat, relax and look after myself and fingers crossed we might get a BFP! 😊

Cheers ladies that replied to my ovulation testing query. Think I'm going to start testing around cycle day 10. Any preference to when I do it? Morning or evening? Does it matter?

@pixie one app says I'll ovulate tomorrow, 2 say on Monday and the other says Wednesday! My op tests are still negative so who knows what's right!

Like you and @firework we've been dtd every other day.. Aiming to keep doing that until Thursday or the day after I get confirmation that I'm ovulating.

@DunPony that's seriously annoying that AF would trick you like that! Fx this cycle goes well!

@ally everything Ive read has recommended not using your morning pee - go for afternoon or evening and then stick to that time everyday. And try to hold it for 4 hours or more before testing.

I use the clearblue ovulation sticks and they work in the morning, but the boots ones I used before them said don't use until 11am onwards... x
