DID MY LAST TEST WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, WHAT TEST WOULD YOU RECOMMEND

BeckiF · 23/07/2004 11:22

Hi ChaCha - not so bad. Added another Metformin into the daily intake today so now I'm up to three a day. 1 in the AM, 2 at lunch. Next week I'll add one at tea time ... slowly slowly and all that. Still no AF, maybe I AM turning into a man afterall! My mind is on our engagement party that we have finally booked for October (having got engaged on Valentines Day!) so that will be a nice distraction, then we are on hols for two weeks. In the meantime we keep on hoping for a natural pregnancy....it's nice trying anyway

Azure · 23/07/2004 11:27

SKM, some people recommend the Clearblue Digital pregnancy test, as it clearly states "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" - no worrying about lines. Alternatively (and cheaper) ask your GP to do a test. Best of luck!

Hello Becki F

BeckiF · 23/07/2004 11:47

SKM I also suggest a Clearblue digital and that you do a test first thing in the morning!

Hi everyone, been quite a while since i last posted. found it hard to keep up with the post as iam from Australia with the time difference and all. Joined an Ausie chat and found it to be not as supportive, caring, friendly or informitive as this one as its only just really started. Its been great to read that there has been so many graduates. well just a breifing on my story. took several yrs to fall pg with ds1 now 20 months been ttc for 7 months now. currently on CD13 and around 2 dpo. BD so much this month that dh is thankful for some time off. Hoping that this month is the one. Taking zinc and Agnus Castus and other anti oxidants and vitimans and minerals dh also taking zinc. AF date seems so far away this month (26-28DC)was sure i was pg last month had all the signs then AF arrived and was very heavy but still having all the signs. Weired hay! But anyway since Azure has made the note that this thread needs one graduate per week and there has been such success I thought i better get in on the act!! Here's hoping. good luck everyone I will try and keep up as much as i can.

Cobweb · 25/07/2004 21:21

Hi girls, well thought I would post here as it was the most appropriate place and I felt the need to write it down.

On Saturday night my dh and I had unprotected sex, its been 3 weeks since my d&c and we were very careful

In the morning I noticed the ovulation jelly, sorry if tmi, but I am dated things that this could be correct after my d&c. If so, being that you are normally extremely fertile after being pregnant I am a little worried in case any super sperm have managed to escape

I was planning on waiting until my first AF before ttc again.

Guess what's meant to be will decide things.

Hope everyone is ok and apologies again if tmi xxx

ChaCha · 25/07/2004 21:58

Hi Tania2,
Nice to see you hear again

Am CD12 - seem to be ovulating today but DH has been out of town so hoping that yesterday's BD'g will bring success and that he is not too tired tonight once home

Good luck to everyone..good news on your party BeckiF, thats something nice to look fwd to and take your mind of TTC.

And so...back to the rollercoaster

ChaCha · 25/07/2004 22:00

LOL!
Just read back my post. Tania2, apologies, was not implying that you had gone deaf in your absence .

Tex111 · 25/07/2004 22:45

Cobweb, sounds like you might well get lucky this month. Are you worried about getting pregnant before having a period? I know they recommend waiting until you have at least one period but I think that's just so there's no confusion over dates, etc. I have a friend who got pregnant after a D&C and before she had a period and she had no problems at all. Good luck to you!

Had a great weekend in Cambridge - two christenings! After the christening on Saturday we had a 'Moms night out' and boy, am I suffering today! It's been so long since I had a night out like that. Great weekend and now I should be heading into the O zone this week. Fingers crossed.

Congrats SKM!

Bibi20 · 26/07/2004 10:52

Congratulations SKM! This sure is a lucky thread!

I'm CD 11, taking starflower oil, vit B6, folic acid (been taking it for nearly a year now - I remember wondering how big a bottle to get - I'm on my 4th lot!) and zinc (DH on extra zinc too!). Off to buy some Green Tea as well - I'm such a sucker for anything anyone recommends - and I'm having reflexology on Thursday!

Only problem now is that DH will be away for what may well be the crucial few days! B*gger.

Lots of babydust to everyone ttc - anyone testing this week? XX

Bibi20 · 26/07/2004 10:55

Meant to say Cobweb, don't think there is such a thing as TMI here, which is why it's so great!

I also have a friend who got pg again straight away and has a lovely little girl!

xx

malinki · 26/07/2004 11:19

SKM, I'll add my congrats too. I'm still ttc CD28, waiting until CD36, then testing (as I have extremely sore boobies) and I'm so all the time at really stupid things, this is of course unless AF makes an appearance then I'm off to the hospital for a HSG..... Speak to you soon, oh before I forget SKM have you stopped taking your MET!!!

runtus · 26/07/2004 11:20

Morning, in a bit of a quandry here.....on CD30 (last month was a 38 cycle after coming off the pill) and had random spotting on Saturday evening.

Should I assume the spotting means I am not prg or could it possibly be implantation bleeding, seeing as my cycle seems to be longer than average? Am I just clutching at straws and hoping against all reason that I could still be pregnant?

Thinking of doing a test to put my mind at rest

Cobweb · 26/07/2004 11:59

Hi Runtus, well there is no harm in doing a test. I could be implantation bleeding!

Glad you put my mind at rest Bibi20, I was worried that I had said too much

runtus · 26/07/2004 12:49

Just bought a test and now can't wee!

Tania2 · 26/07/2004 13:29

Thank you ChaCha for the welcome back msg. Good luck runtus hope you get a BFP. its so hard to wee under presure isn't it. I will visit the thread every few days to see everyones progress. currently on CD15 4dpo.
Baby Dust all round.

runtus · 26/07/2004 13:47

BFN

Azure · 26/07/2004 13:51

Hello everyone - welcome back Tania2. Runtus, sorry to hear about the BFN - remember, it's still early days compared to your cycle last month.

OP posts:
Cobweb · 26/07/2004 16:51

Sorry about the BFN Runtus, it might be too early, here's hoping for you hun.
