hb glad u enjoyed the spa day, sounds bliss although eyeroll at them not doing the shellac! I had my hands shellaced last weekend and I never even thought to mention it!

GP was not concerned about short AF, said I was lucky But has booked me in for thyroid and full blood count. She's also advised me to cut out sugar from my diet 😩 I had started to any for ttc womb plan but it hurts knowing it has to happen now!

Well done otters, so pleased you’ve got another test. It will be much more accurate and may show that you’ve ovulated and all the DTD-ing was worth it (I’m sure it was worth it anyway, but you know what I mean.) I would disregard the results you’ve already got as they can’t be accurate that close to when you ovulated.

Hb thank you lovely! The furry-trousered feline one seems a bit indifferent but DH is over the moon. Think we might start enjoying this whole thing now. So glad the spa was gorgeous, I think reading on the water bed sounds like bliss too. How annoying about the shellac although my friend who does gel nails refused to do mine (had to tell her about the pregnancy) too. But yes they have to cover themselves I guess. Booo.

Landed safe! Thanks for keeping me entertained! That's the hardest bit done.. phew! Very happy I managed it drug free despite feeling quite panicky after lunch. Bit of Bridget jones sorted me out! Will catch up properly later.. me and sis got to try and get to hotel and stay up for another 7 hours at least 🙈

I managed to escape the bar at 8:30, I was exhausted after the longest day ever and just really could not be bothered to talk to anyone! Is that bad? Haha I think people have believed my reason for not drinking. Said I'm trying to be good before wedding. But stuffed my face with 3 course meal and sponge and custard for pudding 😂😂oops! Hope I can keep it up for the whole week! It's torture!

dancing yeah a big group of people that we normally do overnighters with and always get absolutely trashed so they're like

I'm getting really worried about sleeping- this probably sounds stupid but I try to fall asleep on my left side but whenever I wake up I've always gone into this sort of half on my front half on my side position like with my arm under the pillow if you know what I mean. I don't know how important it is in the first trimester but I'm worrying myself that I could be cutting off the blood supply or something?! Should I be worried?

Also I don't think any of my friends would buy any excuse for not drinking so it would definitely have eyebrows raised, haha!

Good luck for the TWW tigger. I've already started probing my boobs to see if their sore 🙈 so no doubt they will be sore in a couple of days from all the poking and not pregnancy

Buzz Ah, ok. Well, hopefully even if they notice they'll be polite and not ask nosey questions!!

I don't think the sleeping thing is anything to worry about. I'm obviously not an expert though. But how can you control where you move when you're asleep?! Must be better that you're getting sleep than worrying yourself so much you wake up? Hopefully someone with more technical knowledge will be able to properly reassure you!

Really hope the 4th is a good day for you Tigger! You so deserve it!! It'll come around so quickly!

So, I tested again this morning. Still don't think it was negative, although really, really faint and just appeared before 5 mins was up. Which seems like progress. So hoping af turns up. I recon based on my old cycles and surgery as cd1 af is due this weekend. But have to wait until 6 weeks of no show before I can contact EPU about it.

Ohh thanks buzz, baby Keith probably looks identical to my scan picture (although obviously our babies are individuals too haha). Love having a baby-buddy. Your post about ‘being good before the wedding’ made me laugh out loud - more sponge cake the better! God I never even thought about sleeping positions, I sleep on my front all the time (with the cat asleep on my back) and babyJupiter seems okay so far. Am sure it’s fine.

I refer to the group all the time with DH. I was telling my mum all about it today and she commented that she would have absolutely loved to have a support network like that around her when she was pregnant. She was new to the city then and away from family and friends. She asked what some of you are called and said she particularly liked the name DancingUnicorn haha. So you have my mums approval Dancing

I think I may have ovulated on Sunday so this Sunday will be 7dpo. I'm getting the bloods on Friday though as can't get it at weekend and bank holiday Monday.

mummy I really hope it was late ovulation. Doctor agreed to do another blood test but probably indulging me! Sounds like you've done well with dtd, hopefully you've caught the egg! You can join the 2WW soon!

youngmummy I used clear blue fertility monitor which is great as it's digital and easy to read. I have just ordered some one step opks from amazon, waiting for them to arrive. Also ordered a thermometer. Thought I'd go all out next time! Still new to opk so we can learn together

buzz I'm such a belly sleeper, or else I'm on my right, I sleep on my left the least I think.... Which Probably isn't for the best, I might take jbs advice and get a pillow although it'll only add to my slothness!

I just ordered two pairs of maternity jeans off asos, I'm struggling to keep the button shut on mine, I just look like a chubster though rather than pregnant!

I was confused too otters, i guess it must be the UV light they use to cure the polish... not because maybe something is likely to happen, just if it coincidentally did they'd be in the shit! She offered me a file & pAint but it's just not the same as gels!! My good friend does my beauty normally (traded for my hair services) so will have to spill the beans to her and see if it's cool!

buzz You are TOTALLY covered pre wedding, I'm sure no one will suspect a thing! I gave up alch for two months prior to mine bar the hen weekend & got no funny looks or questions and would never have occurred to me that peiple would even suspect! It's after the wedding that you are under the microscope! ive clocked a few glances at my tummy since!

I sleep in every position EXCEPT left🙈 Was considering swapping sides with DH! Defo getting a monster pillow at some point tho!
