Here comes the thread, you know what to do!

There is definitely a line there parsnips and it can take 36 hours for hcg to double so I would try again tomorrow or day after. Don't despair, there is definitely something there. The digital needs an hcg of 50 I think I read online and you might still be hovering lower.

Oh Hb it's our fave meal. Cook up spinach, mushrooms, onion, seasoning and bit of nutmeg and layer that mixture between lasagne sheets with a feta and cottage cheese mixture. Then put white cheddar cheese sauce over the top of the last lasagne layer. Cook for about 35-40mins on gas mark 7 but keep checking (our oven is dodgy so might need less heat haha) Its very nice and we have with a rocket and avocado salad. It's calorific and expensive but a treat and does have some goodness in it.

otters I think Hb is right that if your luteal phase is 14 days then AF due this weekend? I guess because you O'd late it's pushed things back. Not to be negative though as definitely good chance you'll get your BFP! I would test on Friday/Saturday - exciting.

Dancing yay for knitting. I love it. Most calming thing in the world. I have the easiest baby hat and baby bootie knitting pattern if you want them/when you're ready.

otters i do recall you ovulated late... so your AF will be due later, your literal phase should always be the same (apparently) and this is why some people get differing cycle lengths even when they ovulate.

parsnips I'm testing Saturday (will be afternoon) after my post night shift sleep. I will be 10dpo. AF is due Tuesday.

I had that. Does it feel like a strange fluttering sensation with some twangs a bit sharp?

Feels quite sharp. Comes and goes. Not sure about fluttering. More towards groin area I think.

parsnips there is definitely a line there, probably just not enough hcg for a digital yet. It's quite possible you ovulated later than you think.

Well I have brown spotting this morning like the start of AF so looks like it may be a chemical pregnancy for me

JB lots of ladies get brown spotting in early pregnancy. I think as long as there's not lots of pain and it's not bright red. Try not to worry xx

otters if i was you and I had willpower I would wait till I'm home. Obviously if you got a bfp it would make your holiday amazing but by the sounds of it you ovulated late and might not get a positive till later? Whatever you decide, we're here ❤️

Eeeek, so confusing parsnips , hope it's just a bit early for the digi, without tracking ov could have been doing silly things without you knowing! FX a few days will bring a nice strong line!

Otters obviously do what you need to, but it sounds like maybe waiting to test would be better. If you ovd late you might still get a false negative at this point, which would be upsetting and spoil the hols. Although, knicker watch might be doing that anyway. I really hope it's your month.

I'll be following sage advice from all. I hope I ovulated late so will wait to see if AF turns up at weekend and try my best not sure how to resist testing until I'm home. Had a lovely freezing swim in the sea yesterday so the upside is more swimming time. Watched the sunset and felt so calm and relaxed then went into mad TTC emotional frenzy!

Hi girls!! The world knows now so my phone has been hopping! Everyone delighted and nobody surprised! I got a lot of 'I knew it'!! But it's great, found out my friend is due a few weeks before me so that's nice too! Now it's kind of an anti climax, I wanna tell more people 😂.
Also looks like I'll be starting my new job in a month or so! Everything happening together!

mummy I had a pulsing feeling in lower groin at 9DPO so hopefully yours is implantation pain! Roll on Saturday and testing day.

JB how is the spotting? Don't panic, all totally normal plus the line on your FRER was super strong so you must have a good level of hcg already. Could just be your body ejecting old blood so it can just keep hold of lovely new blood for your baby.

Does anyone know how long it will take between scan/blood test and getting the nuchal test results? Thanks lovelies.

jupiter they just did nuchal test at my scan, they just look at fluid on the back of the neck and if it's thin they are happy enough but maybe you are having something more in depth than that? Also the phlebotomy nurse who did my bloods was amazing, I didn't feel a thing, I wanted to kiss her!

Sorry been absent, been reading but trying to keep up with work here in the NY office, lots of people to catch up with. Trying to avoid drinking may be tough tonight, I'll play the jet lag card I think.

DH aunt commented on my airport food photo on Facebook "that's not enough for you and baby" 🙈 I deleted it but it was up there for an hour! I hope no one from work saw. Thinking I might tell just my immediate line manager at 12 weeks, so he has time to help train my new junior in the right way. I don't want to tell my US bosses until much later, as I know they will judge, and I want to pre empt their concerns.

Parsnips that's annoying about the digital but I see a clear line, so I'd expect the digital to turn positive in a few days.

More developments on job front! Advert description has been approved by my boss and he spoke to me today about it saying that he hopes not to have to have an interview and just do it from application but that it's obvs mine we just have to go through the process 🙈 I still don't believe it though and am not getting excited until it actually happens. But praying it happens soon so I can tell work before I get really fat!

Thanks for all the kind words today ladies. So far no AF and no more spotting, however this is not dissimilar to my normal cycles before AF comes full flow. The FRERs I ordered online haven't arrived today so probably won't test again until Saturday if AF doesn't arrive. I have zero symptoms so I guess it's just a waiting game for now.

Oh grumpy I've seen a few people get outed by people of fb before they announce the news themselves, pregnancies and birth announcements, it's always a bit awkward!

AF got me I was so so so hopeful for this month. The disappointment is crushing and DH is really upset as well. It's been a tough day as earlier on he had a message to tell him one of his friends committed suicide so he's been quite upset. Then AF hit full flow. Will catch up with everyone later, just need some time then I'll pick myself up again.

So sorry otters. You deserve a BFP so much. Take all the time you need, but we are here if you need to vent x
