You never know penguin it only takes one wee sperm to be there at the right time.

My AF is due tomorrow. The queasy feelings from sunday have never returned. I don't feel any differently now than normal pre-af. Feels like AF is about to show so doubting the faint line from yesterday. I think I'm almost too scared to test again.

Ah Jb I've heard it's completely normal to feel like AF is on the way! Try not to think too much about it (Ha!)

Orange sounds promising! As this was only our first cycle trying we only DTD twice during fw, on 2 consecutive days when I was super horny and had lots of ewcm. Your body knows what it is doing!

JB that's totally normal! I've been having af type cramps and half expect to see it has arrived every time I go to the toilet. I'm only one day late today so know how you feel - but a line is a line!

Oh God. I have just had a little meltdown at work. Just been hauled over the coals re a billing issue (which wasn't my fault) in front of the head of the office with half the bloody world copied in and I'm really pissed off.

I told my boss I am getting really annoyed at the general lack of appreciation and attitude of partners here and that it is a horrible place to work at the moment. Then walked off as on verge of tears. [am mortified as completely lost my cool - loudly]

He has now panicked and is taking me out to lunch to say thanks for covering while he was off. It is very obvious that I've been crying 😳 and I feel like a complete idiot.

Oh parsnips I'm so sorry. That really sucks. But sometimes someone actually calling out the situation is exactly what's needed to make a change happen. And the atmosphere with one senior member of staff has been forever changed where I work by tears! Maybe this will spark the change you need. Although maybe waiting a day or two to take you out to lunch would have been more empathetic! Sending hugs!

Morning all this hotel is amazing! Completely beautiful. We're off for a walk through the bluebell woods in a min before heading home. I've talked myself down from the edge. Really don't think I'm going to be lucky this cycle and I'm ok with that.

Just seen an email from HR about my promotion in my bosses inbox 🙊 not guaranteed but that the wheels are set in motion. Just when I was planning on flipping my shit and threatening to get another job 😂 just as long as it happens before July maybe I can get away with not telling them so soon about Keith. Gonna have to start buying lots of baggy clothes I think!

I told him about what that partner said about deferring my family plans and testing my fertility or my career will stagnate! He was 😱😱😱. I've taken a bit of a leap of faith telling him that but he and his wife are trying for their second baby so I think I can trust him.

He said not to worry about that at all and to always put family before work. I told him that I just feel really frustrated and undervalued and that all this focus on time recording and billing all the time makes me feel like I'm being painted as an underperformed. He said that's not how he sees it at all and not to worry and that he is pushing for me to have a strong pay review and bonus.

I think he's worried I might quit now so hopefully will be a bit more supportive from now on. I feel better for saying something. I do feel a bit frustrated with some of his personality quirks (he is a classic micromanager) but I didn't want to seem like I was being personal so I haven't mentioned those but I reckon he will take a hint.

Sounds like it's worked out quite well parsnips and really good you could open up and be honest. He sounds like a decent bloke and is right about family first! Hopefully things get a bit better now :)

Sounds like a perfect day for a scan mrs will be refreshing like mad, cause I'm excited but also very bored at work! I remember you were worried about the timing of your placement and baby? Has it all worked out okay now? :)

Pictures are gorgeous Tigger. I would love to get away. Suggested dates to dh, but nothing much really happened.

Para yes, it completely sucks. I have no idea what to expect, or when. Doubt I ovd when I thought I had otherwise I think AF would have started by now. Maybe I'm just impatient. I dunno how people with long cycles cope with all the waiting!!

I don't have anything to report. Still no af. No real idea when/if I've ovulated. Guess it's just a waiting game. Finally took the plunge and rang the EPU to ask for a referral to their counsellor.

Hi girls, all is well! Baby C is doing great albeit a bit lazy and refusing to move for the doc.... Its in the genes I guess!

dancing I think that's great that you've gone to epu for support, that's what they're there for, you've been through so much it'll be good to talk it through with someone ❤️
