Hi everyone.
Viletta so sorry your bfp turned into AF but glad to hear you're taking a positive from it.
Plain I love your positivity too. And your little messages make me smile. Thank you.
Rhi sorry you got a bfn:( ((hugs)) x
Cd 3 here so nothing to report. Feeling good. Pms all cleared up. Saying that I had very little pms this month. The only thing I can put it down to is the Coq10. I've really felt great since I started taking it last month. Have had lots more energy and less pms. How great is that! It was worth the price tag just for that.
How's everyone else?

RhiBee29 · 08/05/2017 06:47

Still no AF, 3 days late according to Period Tracker and 1 day late on Ovia. CD29. Just wasn't AF over and done with so we can move forward.

Just been for a run...downloaded couch to 5k, I'm shattered! Hoping the exercise will help. I have a consultation with the reflexologist tonight. Yoga Wednesday night. Feeling positive this month that I'm making changes and hoping it'll all result in a bfp!

weasledee · 08/05/2017 06:59

Morning all I'm 2dpo, wondering where everyone else is up to? :)

Sarah2209 · 08/05/2017 08:00

Good morning... I'm CD 15 so hoping I'll ovulate any day! Fx for everyone this cycle xx

littlemimosa · 08/05/2017 08:34

Rhi you're in a very frustrating time of the month there. The not knowing and not being able to move on is the worst bit of all this. Sounds like you're doing some very healthy things tho. Yoga is the best exercise there is. I've been doing it for years. And I forgot to tell you that I'm a big fan of reflexology. In fact I think it really helped me conceive my first two. It's very very relaxing and grounding. Let us know how you get on tonight!
Hi Sarah and weasel. Hope my fellow oldies are well.
I'm off out for a run later after work. My second so far this cycle. I'm trying to get the blood pumping:) apparently it's important for the older lady ttc. Anyone else trying anything new this cycle? Good luck for ovulation Sarah! Are you using opks this month?

plaintomatopasta · 08/05/2017 08:40

Morning ladies!! Today is cd12 and I'm pleased to say we are ahead of schedule and I have a super positive opk which means all systems go and everything has been put up a day!

Also it's Monday (my day off) which means munchkin football and a little vegan lunch date with my favourite 2yo ❤️

littlemimosa · 08/05/2017 18:30

Love your attachments plain:) I often ovulate on day 12 too.
Sounds all systems go for you there! You sound very positive too hun. Love your positivity.
How's everyone else today?

RhiBee29 · 08/05/2017 20:47

Still no AF & still a bfn!!!

Went for a run (think rhino from Jumanji) this morning, my legs are killing me but I feel so good for doing it Smile

Sarah2209 · 08/05/2017 20:49

Hey Plain... go girl!! I'm vegan too by the way Smile

Hi Littlemimosa - yes I'm using opks- good job as this month I'm not ovulating on day 14 this time.... I think my miscarriage and whatever my super light bleed was last month has messed up my cycle!! Oh well just have to keep at it every two days..... 😉

RhiBee29 · 09/05/2017 19:00

AF was due anytime between cd26 - cd28 and it's now cd31 and still no flow?! No symptoms either. 4 bfn's so far! What the heck is going on?!

Any chance of a bfp now?

If AF doesn't show when should I start opk's?

Is this the menopause?

Help I'm spiralling!

Sarah2209 · 09/05/2017 20:13

Don't panic RhiBee... I had a cycle like that earlier this year. Late AF and no BFPs but then I had an awful 2 day heavy bleed and cramps at day cd31. I think I conceived but it didn't implant correctly. Any chance you ovulated later than you thought and therefore could be pregnant but it's to early to show? X

Purplepjs · 09/05/2017 20:34

Hi all,
Would love to join the 2ww crew....feeling a bit fed up of the emotional rollercoaster!!
Age:35
TTC#2
Cycle:6
Am currently 2dpo and feeling blue!!! Hope you guys are all ok tonight. Smile

RhiBee29 · 09/05/2017 21:43

Thanks @Sarah2209 it's so weird! I didn't temp or opk so possible that ovulation was later than I thought.

Welcome @Purplepjs

Booked my first reflexology treatment for Monday, I feel less stressed after the phone consultation, I think just blurting out that I'm overwhelmed by work, being mum to a 2yr old etc really helped.

Melodypond17 · 09/05/2017 23:39

Hello everyone Smile

I'm totally new to these boards and still getting to grips with all the abbreviations...

I'm 43, got 2 daughters - 18 and 21 - and now ttc with my second husband.

This is our 4th month trying and currently 6dpo (6 days after ovulating?) and going slightly mad overanalysing every possibly symptom which is why I'm so glad to have found this place! I'm driving my husband mad! Grin

littlemimosa · 10/05/2017 05:26

Welcome Purplepjs. Good to have you here.
Welcome Melody. Great to see so many over 40s ttc:) There are a few of us on here so you'll be in good company.
Rhi I was going to suggest later than normal ovulation too. That happened to me this month and I had a31 day cycle rather than my usual 29. I hope you are ok today. You sound stressed out. I think running and reflexology will be good things for helping you relax.
Sarah hope you're getting a peak in those opks.
CD6 here so all quiet. Nothing to report.

weasledee · 10/05/2017 06:45

Hi melody, I'm 40 (41 Sunday! 😱😁) and I too am trying for number 3 :)
I'm 4dpo and symptom spotting, but nothing as yet :)

plaintomatopasta · 10/05/2017 07:07

Morning ladies! Welcome to the new ladies and hope you have fun here. Everyone is really nice.

I'm cd14/1dpo and out for this month. I'm now in the 4ww waiting for my next chance (and last chance). It's ok though as I potentially lost my job yesterday and so am applying for lots more and it probably is t a good time to be pg before starting. 🤞🏻 I get something soon though because we are POOR! 😳

How's everyone feeling this morning?

Welcome Purple and Melody!!

I'm 43... 44 this year so your both in good company with us 'geriatric mums and mums to be' as the medical profession kindly refer to us!!! But there's some lovely younger ladies here too - they're all super supportive and very giving of themselves and to each of us...

RhiBee good luck with the reflexology- let us know how it goes.

Plain - I'm sending all the positive energy and healing I can to you for this month. I'd be so delighted if you got your bfp..... new job would be tricky but you'd have your wish come true.... why did you neaoloae your job? Tell me to mind my own if you'd rather not say Grin

I had my positive opk this morning! So about to go into the tww.... so hoping this is it!!!

Fx to everyone xxStar

Sarah2209 · 10/05/2017 10:10

Sorry Plain - meant to say 'nearly lose you job' not neaoloae?!?!? What is that???? HmmConfusedGrin

plaintomatopasta · 10/05/2017 10:50

I'm a supply teacher and my school is being awkward with me and refusing to give me any lessons or pay me to be in school so I'm applying for millions of others and just going to do agency I'd need be till I get something. It's a massive pain in the bum!

I'm out this month and won't get my bfp. I'm cd14/1dpo and my temp has plummeted which means no conception this time. 😢 oh well onwards and upwards. My current child has turned into a monkey today and is climbing the walls... literally!

Sarah2209 · 10/05/2017 11:21

Oh Plain... that's rubbish on both counts!! I had no idea you could tell that quickly after ovulation? So if you temp drops right after ovulating you haven't conceived then?

Well sending those vibes for next month then - stay hopeful x

plaintomatopasta · 10/05/2017 12:20

Apparently so. It avoids the symptom spotting and waiting for af. Personally it's easier to accept if there is t a long build up because I know it's coming.

Sarah2209 · 10/05/2017 12:41

So what's a dip? I've started charting again for the first time and mines all over the place... today's was highest at 36.57? So would a dip be down to 35...? I'd rather know early if it's not going to happen too x

Sarah2209 · 10/05/2017 13:32

Hi Plain, been reading up on dip post ovulation and it's not a sign of not conceiving - I found this - 'After ovulation, it can be normal to see a dip in temperature (even below the coverline), which is caused by a secondary estrogen surge and may also cause extra CM. The temp should go back above the coverline after this surge, however.'

So you're not out! Xx

plaintomatopasta · 10/05/2017 16:45

Only for the first day though and then it should increase again. This is my second dip down!
