Do another read tomorrow - there's a thing called a corpus luteum dip that often occurs sometime from 2-6 DPO. It's not the same as an implantation dip (more like 6-12 DPO), The dip is a result of a drop in estrogen due to the egg being released, and then the corpus luteum takes over to produce progesterone. If your temps stay low it could mean a lack of proestrogen and it would be worth speaking to your GP. Hang in there lovely and see what tomorrow brings x

Purplepjs · 10/05/2017 19:26

Hi plain, I'm a supply teacher too. Sorry your work is so rubbish. I work through an agency and it generally works pretty well. Hope you figure it out.

Fingers crossed your temp dip is not connected to conceiving and you're 'back in the game'!!

Purplepjs · 10/05/2017 19:28

... not connected to 'not conceiving' that is. X

weasledee · 10/05/2017 22:27

You've got me on the temperature thing now! 😬 mine is 37.3 which on average is higher than normal.... :)
Plus and apologies for tmi but I made 5 visits to the loo at work today! That's a lot for me!

BrumKP · 11/05/2017 07:07

Morning ladies. Today is the day of my ultrasound after all my blood tests - thought I would do a CB just in case... and it says Pregnant 1-2 weeks! I'm really worried that it's another false positive, and don't know what to do! The other part of me is in overjoyed shock I think. Has anyone had FP with CB?xx

weasledee · 11/05/2017 08:52

Congratulations!! What a surprise :)
Never heard of false positives with a digital...... :)

plaintomatopasta · 11/05/2017 09:56

Congratulations. You could always tell them at your appt and they'll check before doing anything...

Sarah2209 · 11/05/2017 10:57

Congrats Brum.... I've never heard of FPs with digital either?!? Let's us know how you get on and good luck x

Plain how was your temp? X

Shredtheevidence · 11/05/2017 11:30

Congratulations Brum!!

Purplepjs · 11/05/2017 11:34

Congratulations brum!!!

lisara79 · 11/05/2017 13:50

Hi All... sorry iv e been AWOL, not been too well and it's busy out here! iv e caught up a little... congratulations Brum! iv e never heard of a digital false negative either.... I'm CD10.... been a wired month... AF was short and light whilst being too long and heavy to be anything else, temps were above normal but have now dropped and pms symptoms (including abdominal pain, breast sensitivity, heightened smell and mood swings) have continued to now... I know I'm not pregnant (af and low temps) but my hormones are all over the place and I worry that it's to do with my age or something is wrong....

I hope everyone is well and have my fingers crossed for you all x

Ah lisara that all sounds a bit odd and shitty to have to deal with.

I am feeling a bit down about it all today. Largely jealousy on 2 fronts. I seemed to spend the weekend surrounded by pregnant women. The irony is it was because I was out doing 'fun' toddler things with my dd and I then hate myself for feeling like this when i have been lucky enough to have the small.

And then, and this is completely irrational, I am jealous of people who have a 'normal' cycle. I am in CD12 and still have approx 12 days until ovulation.

Sorry just needed to rant. Please can you all just give me a big old slap!!!!

Purplepjs · 11/05/2017 15:54

Aw shred, that's a really tough weekend. I totally get the normal cycle jealousy....when we were trying for our first my cycles were anything up to 60 days. It sucks waiting and waiting. Hope the next couple of weeks pass quickly for you. X

RhiBee29 · 11/05/2017 16:55

Call off the HRT ladies AF has finally made an appearance 6 days late!!!

Going to try OPK's from CD8 to see what's going on!

Congratulations @BrumKP

@Shredtheevidence I get the green eyed monster too, it's natural!

Sarah2209 · 11/05/2017 17:26

You should read our previous thread Shred - we had a whole discussion about not feeling bad about wanting more than one or two or whatever.... it's our right as women to want to bear children. Pants about your long cycles though - that is a pain!!

Sorry Lisara - know how you feel! It's so frustrating!! Have a nice glass of something alcoholic and don't worry about symptom spotting for a while xx

weasledee · 11/05/2017 20:14

So I did a pregnancy test which was ridiculous as only 6dpo! But poas is weirdly addictive! Unsurprisingly it was negative! :)

Melodypond17 · 11/05/2017 20:43

Congratulations Brum Smile

This is going to sound crazy but I'm now 7DPO and in the last few days, my sex drive has plummeted - has anyone else experienced this? Am I just trying to read a sign into something that isn't there?

kitkat321 · 11/05/2017 22:47

Hello - may I join please?

Came off the pill last month mid pack and got af within 2 days - assuming I started ovulating right away (unlikely I know) I'd now be 12 dpo.

Tested today and got bfn but have felt cramping for last few days - mild but there. Also had slightly sore boobs - although that could just be from going the they gym the other day.

This would be pregnancy number 5 and have 1 dc - always conceived instantly in the past but struggle to get past the 5 week mark so hoping for some luck this time.

BrumKP · 12/05/2017 06:17

Thanks everyone , and welcome kitkat.

Yesterday turned out to be v stressful. I told the sonographer who did another testt which showed BFP. She said my ovaries look fine, and my womb lining was thick which is a good sign. However, she couldn't see a sac, and there was fluid in the 'pouch of douglas' (yes, never heard of it either) which can be a sign of ectopic. She sent me to A&E where I had bloods, 2 more BFP tests and was then sent home. I have to go back for more bloods on Sat and then a scan next Thurs.

My prog levels and hcg were elevated which is a good sign, so Im really hoping it's just waaay to early to see anything. So now I guess I have to wait and not worry....

Hugs to you all Flowers

RhiBee29 · 12/05/2017 06:43

Welcome @kitkat321

@BrumKP I have everything crossed for you, it was probably far too early to see the sac. Try and relax today. Flowers

plaintomatopasta · 12/05/2017 07:15

Morning ladies! @BrumKP just stay positive and so will your test. It's far too early for them to see anything so they're just being precautionary by getting more tests done. It means you'll see your tiny from the very start which is super exciting!

So things are stressful here. DH and I are no longer speaking at all and I've decided to move out today for a while with Bear. It's ok though. We will play adventures whilst staying with my best friend and there's two other kids there.

My temp is all over the place but hasn't returned up to the top again so I'm counting myself out definitely now as I'm cd16/3dpo.

Sarah2209 · 12/05/2017 08:28

Oh Plain.... that sounds awful! Hope you're ok really? Sending massive hugs Flowers I know there's nothing I can do but I'm here.

Congrats Brum and hang in there - way to early to see anything.

Welcome KitKat.

plaintomatopasta · 12/05/2017 09:28

@Sarah2209 I'm honestly fine. I have enough about me to survive by myself with a gorgeous toddler. Once I get sorted I can find somewhere to live just the two of us. It's been a long time coming but I have priorities so can't mess about trying to fix things.

plaintomatopasta · 12/05/2017 09:29

@Sarah2209 I'm actually more annoyed at another failed month. But at least that means only one munchkin to look after.

Sarah2209 · 12/05/2017 09:42

You're so incredibly strong - and it sounds like you've done the right thing. Hard to do though.... especially with a toddler. Look after yourself and keep in touch with us x
