Hi all.... as the 2ww buddies thread has got so long... thought we'd start a new one .. cd13 now... waiting for ovulation (next 2/3 days) and will then be back on the 2ww! How's everyone doing?

Morning lisara I'm cd3 too and my pms gets worse just before it stops so I'm in a bit of pain, feel all grotty today can't wait to get Saturday out of the way and I can relax for two week!

So cd12, had to dtd yesterday as dh working nights and I'm on days so no other time! 😬 hopefully that's not too early but we'll see.... also with the miscarriage last month not sure if everything will have returned to normal as yet! Oh well, bring on the wait and the symptom spotting :) x

Good morning ladies! Cd8 here and started the DTD business a day late last night for SMEP but OH is away playing golf all weekend (code for drinking) so we won't be able to keep on track anyway. Sorry I've been absent from proceedings the last few days I've been super busy with appointments for mental health (me) health visitors (monkey) and 2yr development checks (DC is an 80yr old trapped inside a toddler so he flew through).

I would like to nominate myself as cheer captain as I am in a good mood today and need to make other people happy so I don't dwell on my own thoughts 😆

I need a cheerleader today @plaintomatopasta... my colleague announced pg today, I am happy for her as she miscarried a few months back but still a bit jealous, how ridiculous!

I'm either 11 or 13dpo, got the familiar cramps of AF, haven't POAS as not feeling hopeful. Will test Saturday if no AF

Hi Ladies, hope you’re all ok.... I’m now cycle day 11 - so DTD starts tonight..... lets hope all of us at the beginning again get some good news this month. Good luck Fx to all those waiting and hope all those with BFPs are doing well x

RhiBee that’s perfectly normal... I was like that the day I miscarried - a friend messaged me to tell me there were pregnant after 1 month of tying! I bawled my eyes out and felt so jealous and then felt really bad as it was great news for them.

Af here:( Going to be sad for a day then pick myself up and move on. I'm fixing my mind on the positives i.e. Regular cycles, regular ovulation. Focussing on that. I'm lucky especially at my age.
Hope next month yields more bfps for us ladies. Only you left in this month Rhi?

I think so littlemimosa but I'm not convinced I'll get a bfp. Sat here catching up on one born every minute, trying to remind myself all this TTC stuff is worth it!

Anyone use Clearblue ovulation tests? They're expensive but think I may try them next cycle just to reassure myself that I am actually ovulating.

RhiBee hang in there... I've not used them, I'm using internet cheapies. I did when we first started out and I bought the full ovulation kit - which was expensive... it did tell me when I ovulated but never helped us conceive sadly. I sold it when we were on our break as I'd convinced myself I could move on and not need a baby.,, yeah right... !! But they may help you as they do pinpoint the day you ovulate I believe x

Thanks @Sarah2209, I think I may give it a go for one cycle then if no bfp move on to ic's. As I've not used opk's before these look like a good place to start...a dummies guide to ovulation

Why not.... you never know! It might be just what you need to make it happen.... and you still have a bit of hope this month.... you may not need them Fx

Good evening beautiful ladies. I am home alone tonight due to being a golf widow. Little bit is in bed and I have a glass of prosecco on the go... my acupuncturist said I am fine to go and relax into ovulation and come back whenever I want to... he's so lovely and was brilliant with my little Bear because I had to take him today. Xx

Just made some enquiries about reflexology to help with stress and boost fertility. Has anyone tried this?

I'd say go for it. I do meditation and mindfulness as a stress relief and it's working well.

BFN as expected, still no AF but I'm sure she's on her way. Oh well cycle 3 here i come.

Hi all, AF showed up in time! so my one bfp and feeling pregnant all along might have been a chemical or just evap. If it's chemical it's a good sign.. at least step 1 was complete and perhaps my body finally figured out what I want from it. I've read my notes and it looks like this was cycle 5 + one year in total of unprotected DTD .. I will make an appointment with gp. Having a plan makes me feel good. Feeling very positive for the future, but won't test early ever again! It's a torture!

Morning ladies! Bear just flooded the bathroom 😆 good job his dad is away or else there would have been trouble.

@viletta I think having a plan helps as I honestly believe a large part of ttc is mental. We weren't trying for Bear he just happened but this next one we want so badly I think that's what's stopping us. Speak to the gp and start the tests going (depending on your nhs it's a looooong process and a lot of waiting about for the next stage). We have been trying since march 2015 and so far I have got as far as the blood tests and smears. Sorry your bfp wasn't successful. As you say though it could be a positive sign and mean that you CAN conceive and it will work next time. Drink lots of water. It makes the endometrium all fluffy and sticky and that little bean has no choice but to settle in 😀

@rhibee29 we are all fine here. I'm a bit achy this morning and MrB is back tonight so really should clean the house... really should but really can't be bothered! Sorry about your bfn. Onwards though and you're closer now to the bfp we all want. Xx

Oh and cd10 so when DH gets home I'll pounce! Even shaved my legs this morning 😆

@plaintomatopasta thank you! Will keep you posted. I think the problem is on my DH side if any. I was tested before as I worked in a private medical center as a staff and all was good, I also had pregnancy way back in my life that I terminated as it was not planned. I wonder if DH could be tested at the same time as me.. we will see! I think we just didn't tried hard enough as I never used opk

@viletta you both have to be tested at the same time and you both have to go to all appointments and make changes. Even if you're the one who goes to the gp they see you both together at the gynaecologist x

Hi all, I bought the clear blue dual hormone OPKs today. When is it that I should start testing on a 35 day cycle would you say? I usually ovulate around day 25. Xx

Finally coming to the end of af now as mine is a week long. Wishing I could jump straight in but have long 35-40 day cycles so still got a while yet before I can start obsessively peeing on opks. I am sure I will see some bfps before I get to the next 2ww xx

@hopingforabfp my oops say start day 23 for a 40 day cycle so I would guess about day 17/18 for a 35 day cycle xx

I am using internet cheapies but that shouldn't effect the time of month that you have hormone surge. I think I started on day 23 and got positive on day 26 last cycle
