Thanks all, really not convinced.

@Viletta at least you now have answers and can make a plan to go forward with.

lisara79 · 12/06/2017 11:34

Rhi.... that is definitely a positive test... congratulations!

Viletta... that's not great news but understanding the problem can only lead to a solution x

Congratulations!! Love hearing the good news.

Sorry I joined and was quiet. Am now so late I think I might have skipped a period. CD 50. So frustrating! Just want to get going again on next cycle.
I might be going for NHS tests next. So curious how everyone else is going on them.

RhiBee29 · 12/06/2017 20:03

Can I lurk for a bit?

lisara79 · 12/06/2017 21:11

@rhibee29... lurk? we'd like you to stay as long as you want!

OP posts:
littlemimosa · 12/06/2017 21:37

Congratulations Rhi!!!!!
So great to hear happy news.
Lurk for as long as you like.

Viletta. Sorry to hear about the swimmers. But at least you know now what the reason is and you can try to do something to help. Did they give any advice on how to improve count and morphology? Did you say your DH drinks and smokes? Have I imagined that??

Yes we definitely need a new thread. What will we call it? Any original ideas?

lisara79 · 12/06/2017 22:19

lisara79 · 12/06/2017 23:31

I'm ok littlemimosa... I'm going back to work tomorrow... I had today off due to the bleeding but I need the sanity of work!

Viletta · 13/06/2017 10:17

Thank you for all the support, girls!
At the moment they want DH to re-test asap to confirm the diagnosis.. they didn't even let us see the test results. After that he will be referred to an infertility clinic for further recommendations, treatment and diagnostics..

Viletta · 13/06/2017 10:18

Said this I feel a bit hopeless.. I'm such a control freak but the situation is not fully in my area of control.. I can ask DH to stop smoking/drinking but can't make him...

Melodypond17 · 13/06/2017 10:36

Oh @Viletta - what a nightmare for you...
:(

15dpo and a bfn again today.
Af due Friday/Saturday
So looks like dh hasn't impregnated me, but found out today via gp he has given me thrush... really not happy :(

lisara79 · 14/06/2017 19:56

How is everyone? I'm sitting this month out (let my body recover) but fingers are crossed for everyone!

OP posts:
Viletta · 14/06/2017 20:14

@Melodypond17 Might be just a disbalance of the flora.. this is not always contagious. Anyway get better soon!

@lisara79 good idea to have a rest and some carefree time for yourself

I'm still ttc-ing despite dh tests and at the moment still believe that I will conceive naturally.. they said amount of ejaculate was very low as well. But I know for sure that this is not always the case. Making him drink more water as he always forgets to.

Heard about terrible event today in London, hope everyone's safe!

littlemimosa · 14/06/2017 20:26

Melody poor you. Thrush is miserable. I had it recently and found this natural remedy which worked a treat. It is called 'Yeast Arrest' by Vitanica (find it on Amazon) and they are suppositories that you put in at night with a pad on. They are fab. ALso it is recommended to take a probiotic supplement as well as the treatment as like Viletta says it can be a gut imbalance as much as something you caught.

Lisara good plan to sit a cycle out. Very sensible. How is the pain and bleeding?

Sarah how's things with you? Wondering how the clomid is going?

Viletta I feel for you. Men are not good at admitting to a problem and trying to fix it. I hope for your sake he cuts back on his poisons soon.

lisara79 · 14/06/2017 20:45

@littlemimosa Pain and bleeding has gone thank goodness... I'm off to Brighton on Saturday so I'll have a chance to relax a little... thanks

@viletta London news is so frightening... just awful. Also hope everyone is safe. I'm in Wales but lived in London for a long time and have friends who live close to there...

RhiBee29 · 15/06/2017 09:26
