I've just checked my discharge and it's something I've never had before its extra stretchy and when I stretch it it looks like cling film if you know what I mean.. My partners literally ran to the shop for a test but I'm scared of another bfn!

Sarah2209 · 30/04/2017 18:28

Oh fingers crossed Jords - really hoping it's a good sign for a bfp..... Fx

BlueSkies87 · 30/04/2017 18:52

Yes fx Jords, let us know Smile

Jords0105 · 30/04/2017 20:02

Will have to wait until tomorrow he didn't have any in the shop and everywheres shut:(

plaintomatopasta · 30/04/2017 20:12

Omg @jords0105 where do you live and I'll drop one over now 😆

littlemimosa · 30/04/2017 20:17

Really sorry Blue. Hope you're ok. ((hugs))

Sarah - are you sure it was AF? Would it be worth testing again?

Plain - what a journey you've had. And you sound so strong and positive. I really admire you for that. Your little man is gorgeous by the way! How old is he? When you say that your day 3 & 21 results were high, is that a bad thing? I am guessing that a high FSH/LH on day 3 isn't what you'd want? What was your result? And is the day 21 progesterone? I'm asking cos i'm thinking of getting them tested at some point due to my age...

Jords - fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I'm CD 27 so am due AF tomorrow or Tuesday but am pretty sure I'm out. The sore boobs have faded now which is usually the cue for AF. Feeling ok about it though. Everyone's positivity has lifted me up:)

Jords0105 · 30/04/2017 20:21

Haha plain probably too far I'm in Halifax! I think I'm hoping for nothing though, could still turn up tomorrow.. Is it me or does there seem to be less of us than normal? Yeah Sarah I agree with mimosa hopefully it wasn't Af and your in with a shot!

Viletta · 30/04/2017 20:36

Hello Ladies!
TTC#1 age 31
Cycle 2 I guess, we've been trying naturally for almost a year but I'm guessing all in wrong time. I feel that this month we have a chance. Whenever I read about early symptoms I think feels I have them all! 6 days to my period, yesterday was BFN on a 25 boots test.. I had crumbs yesterday, egg white, nausea.. I'm sure for some reason it just won't happen that easy for me but i think I do have the symptoms. Will get a superdrug test in Tuesday. Good luck everyone and let us all see BFP asap!!Smile

BlueSkies87 · 30/04/2017 21:12

Welcome Viletta Smile

Thank you Mimosa. I have been ok today, but am in quite a lot of pain at the moment with cramps and DH is a bit down this evening so feeling slightly less positive than I was earlier. I am still a bit confused by what has happened this cycle, what with the bleed on CD24 and now AF arriving early on CD26, when I always have a 28 or 29 day cycle. Do you think implantation could have taken place but then things went wrong? I only say that because we absolutely nailed it timing wise this cycle and the last few days have been very uncharacteristic.

Sorry to hear that you think you are out but glad you are feeling positive.

Jords sorry to hear you couldn't get hold of a test. Fx for a BFP tomorrow Smile

littlemimosa · 30/04/2017 21:33

Welcome Vileta. Fx for you.

Blue, I honestly don't know. It's sounds feasible but I guess youll never know. It's really disconcerting isn't it when your normally super clockwork cycle goes awry. I do understand that. Are you doing temps? Might be worth just doing once cycle? Sorry you're feeling down hun x

BlueSkies87 · 30/04/2017 21:42

Mim I temp until I know I have ovulated but then stop as I find, for some reason, that temping makes me anxious in the morning, especially as AF approaches. So silly. DH always asks what the thermometer says and whilst he is just being supportive and lovely I hate having to tell him when it drops and therefore dread it. So I decided only to temp for the first half of the cycle.

I will be fine tomorrow I'm sure. Just need a good night's sleep and I will be back to my usual self Smile. Thank you for being lovely, as always x

Sarah2209 · 30/04/2017 21:48

Hi Mimosa and Jords... I really want to.. but the nurse said if I'd implanted late and had ovulation later than I thought, I may not show a positive until a week or so after the bleed. I've been reading up on ladies getting early bleeds and then getting late BFPs and there's a lot who had what they thought was an early af and then got positives but only a week or so after. I did test yesterday afternoon and it was negative- but I keep thinking I need to give it a full week and then test to know for sure... part of me is convinced I am and the other I'm not..... had sore boobs today and have had ewcm though not so much today... I've ordered 2 First Response so I'll do them next week.... I may try another of my internet cheapies tomorrow too - you never know....

Boy don't we all go through it ladies.... x

Shredtheevidence · 30/04/2017 22:30

Trying desperately hard not to symptom spot but I have just been for a wee and (as we all do) looked down and there is a light pink smear. Heart is screaming implantation - head is saying it's more likely to be early af as only been of pill for 2 cycles and haven't had implant bleed with either of my 2 pregnancies.

9dpo today - please someone save me from myself!!!!

lisara79 · 30/04/2017 22:31

Ah, we do go through it Sarah! It should be so simple!

Welcome Viletta!

Great time for IB Shred! if it's pink, it's a good sign!

Shredtheevidence · 30/04/2017 23:04

Hmmmm I think it may be AF just been to loo again and it seems heavier. Oh well if it is then I will have to look on the positive - possibly a 36 day cycles rather than my normal 40! Although that would mean a very short luteal phase. Ahhhhhhh

Viletta · 01/05/2017 00:16

I'm wondering how easy (expensive) would it be to take a beta-HCG blood test in the U.K.? From where I am from it's a routine cheap thing to do in any lab and it gives you a precise answer straight away...

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 00:23

Viletta... I would start with the GP as they may do it for free... otherwise I just googled and found private hospitals who'll do it for about £90... seems a lot of money... sure the doc would do it if they feel that there is a reason to.

OP posts:
Viletta · 01/05/2017 01:28

Hi Lisara, £90 is a lot of money indeed! Thanks for checking! There is no particular reason at all, apart of making the last week bp easier to handle. I feel a bit stressed as I would like to get myself checked to make sure I am okay to have babies.. that I have ovulation and a normal endometrium, however it is expensive if going private and I don't think a GP would offer an ultrasound unless I have a good reason for it.

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 10:45

Viletta... a GP would do basic health checks but is unlikely to investigate further unless you have been trying unsuccessfully for a year (if under 25)... After that they may well do a variety of things, especially of neither you or your partner have any children.

OP posts:
lisara79 · 01/05/2017 10:57

I meant under 35 not 25...

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 11:05

Sorry, me again... I have a question about temping.... so, last night I went to bed quite late (about 2) and didn't get to sleep until after 3. I woke up at 7 with my alarm (I'd forgot to cancel them for BH) and took my tempreture.... it had disapointedly gone down 0.1 of a degree again... I went straight back to sleep and woke up again at 10 (can you tell we don't have any children yet) and thought, I'd only been asleep for less than 4 hours last time and the room was cold, so held it in my mouth for 30 secs or so before taking the tempreture.... this time it had gone up from yesterday's tempreture by 0.2 degrees c.... 0.3 degrees higher than at 7... not sure what to make of this... one is disappointing, one would be a good sign... I may just have to ignore both and check again tomorrow... what do you think... AF is due anytime between yesterday and Wednesday...

Still feel quite gross. Like I have increasing nausea and cramps that are almost as bad as my contractions. Bit worried i might have an infection!

littlemimosa · 01/05/2017 19:45

Lisara - I wouldn't know to be honest. Is it an ear thermometer or mouth? What I do know is that there can be factors which can vary a person's temperature by a few tenths of a degree which could or could not be pregnancy related. Not very helpful I know!

Plain - so sorry you're feeling ill. Perhaps you do have a virus or something?

Sarah - did u test again? How's things?

Shred - did it turn out to be AF?

How's everyone else? Quiet on here today. Hope everyone is out enjoying the bank holiday and not thinking about ttc!

Viletta · 01/05/2017 20:03

#lisara79 thanks for letting me know! Will think about it if nothing happens in the next 3 cycles.. we've been trying naturally for 1 year but think might not DTD in correct time.

#Jords, how are you feeling today? My yesterday cramps and nausea have gone. 5-6 days before AF!
