Mimosa... think I'm just clutching at straws.... found out my sister is 9 weeks pregnant today... happy for her!

Viletta... if make an appointment to see the doctor anyway. you've been trying long enough and they'll start the process with testing etc. Can't hurt!

Feeling defeated today Sadno idea why, probably pms! AF not due til the weekend but just not feeling hopeful. I feel too old (32), too fat, too stressed and too tired to be able to conceive. I'm doing weight watchers, it's not gone well since Easter, I'm joining a women's wellness group on 10th to try and address my issues. Sorry to whinge, we're keeping TTC quiet for now and since we've moved halfway across the country I don't have any close friends nearby to moan at. Gah, need to get a grip!!

Hope everyone else is ok x

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 20:56

Aww Rhi... PMT is such a nightmare... you are taking good positive action though! A woman's wellness group sounds like a great idea, and might help you make friends in your new town... iv e moved a few times and it can be so hard to meet new people and certainly takes time. I feel for you lovely lady but you're taking all the right steps and you'll get there x

Thanks @lisara79, it's nice to know I have you lot to listen. I know I need to sort it all out. I was 1st lighter, very fit, a lot happier and less stressed when I got pg on cycle 1 with DS just need to fight my way back to that. Just downloaded Couch 2 5k, just need to make/find time to run now.

Viletta · 01/05/2017 21:14

Hi Rhi, 32 is not old at all! Great to hear you decided to get back on track! I find yoga very relaxing and helpful to stay fit. I've also enjoyed Intuitive eating book, I've lost quite a bit of weight with this method. Don't need to stress out about it, all will be good!

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 21:32

I could really do with looking quite a lot of weight... it would definitely help... I'll take a look at that book Viletta. I need to get back to WW or SW or sometging... I excersize as I walk a lot and cycle regularly but need to control the eating.

RhiBee29 · 01/05/2017 21:40

Thanks @Viletta will take a look at the book. Today's achievement...declined dessert which is my Achilles heel Grin

Viletta · 01/05/2017 21:55

The book is based calmly about what stands behind us eating when we are not hungry or eating more than needed.. and has w to stop dieting and stressed by out about food. I tried tons of diets but this book kind of opened my eyes that my problem is in my relationships with food. Hope it helps, let me know if you try:)

Viletta · 01/05/2017 21:56

Sorry for so many typos! Bloody phone! X

lisara79 · 01/05/2017 22:04

thanks Viletta... going to take a look!

Oh lots on here to catch up on. I am afraid it was AT for me at 9dpo which is a real kick in the guts as I have never had short L.P. before. Trying to tell myself not to be a tit and remember it was only cycle 1.

I am in London for work today so I am enjoying lovely soft boiled eggs at hotel breakfast and am going to catch up for a.massive cocktail with a friend later!!!!

lisara79 · 02/05/2017 08:18

Sorry to hear that Shred.

I'm out too... AF turned up this morning.... so disappointed...

Jords0105 · 02/05/2017 08:48

Just thought I'd let you know Af showed up just now.. Relieved more than anything! Was reading bad stories about late bfps gonna get some opks this month, so I say!

Jords0105 · 02/05/2017 08:51

P.s I'm more annoyed at the fact it's just started as I got to work and stupidly I haven't brought anything with me! Gonna be a long day.. Typical

plaintomatopasta · 02/05/2017 09:00

Morning from school ladies! Today I am slightly better but still losing about 15ml every two hours which is annoying and I think why I'm so tired. Plus OH stayed in bed this morning so I had to get the munchkin sorted as well as myself and had to practically run to school! Have no idea what clothes I put him in 😆

Sarah2209 · 02/05/2017 09:02

Hi everyone, I tested and it was negative.. so no idea what that incredibly painful, super light bleed was about!! Oh well - next cycle here I come!!

RhiBee 32 is not old lovely - I'm 43, 44 this year and have been trying for 5 years with a break in the middle. We're on the wait list for IVF - we have to wait even though we're paying as we're in Cornwall and the only clinics near in Exeter, Plymouth or Bristol are nhs clinics, so we are on the list with those who get free goes. Sadly I'm too old to get any free goes :( we have enough for one go and that's it... we're trying naturally but odds are against us. Don't be fed up - stress is very debilitating and can mke things so much worse... try and see all the positives and then make a list of the negatives and make a plan for tackling them. Sometimes just thinking about what you have and what you want can help focus the mind and make you feel more empowered.

Lisara and Shred so sorry.... let's go into the next cycle together hoping it's our month Flowers

Sarah2209 · 02/05/2017 09:06

Sorry Jords - I was relieved too in away... kept thinking it can't be in there and not showing on tests?!? If it is the levels must be so low something is wrong....
Hope the day improves for you!

And you Plain - hate stressful mornings they make you feel discombobulated for the rest of the day (love that word....😂) xx

plaintomatopasta · 02/05/2017 09:20

So sorry to all you who got AF. She's sneaky and cruel. I'm considering not doing opks this month as it's my last chance properly trying. I checked up on our place on the waiting list and we are at approximately 22mths wait so far and that's just for a hycosy! Sooooooo hoping it's able to be covered by DH medical cover and then we can just pay for it and go to Leeds next month.

Hi Ladies.. got superdrug 10iu/l tests today to test on Friday.. obviously used one straight away! I though I didn't see anything but it looks like now after a minute the faint line is showing up! Do you see it??

2ww buddies continues...
Viletta · 02/05/2017 16:34

Forgot to mention, I'm around 12 dpo, 4 days before expected AF

lisara79 · 02/05/2017 16:48

I see it! Congratulations!

OP posts:
Viletta · 02/05/2017 16:54

Heard that superdrug is too sensitive and gives false positive. Will retest and let you know!

weasledee · 02/05/2017 17:00

Congrats lisara! Defo positive :)
