So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

Not heard about Easter being a fertility festival hope it's true and it's going to be a very fertile Easter for all!

I have read somewhere about sweet potatoes and twins but don't think it's proven!

I don't like sweet potatoes but I'm willing to give it a go! There are twins in family so I could be in with a shot!

Googled bbt thermometer and so many to choose from, can anyone recommend one that wasn't too expensive?

There are 5 sets of twins in my immediate family, I'm one of them lol. But in all honesty I couldn't cope with potentially 4 under 4, I'd tear my hair out 😂

Omg I've just realised I've had sweet potatoe fries for dinner, I forgot what was said on here about them. I'm seriously losing it 😂😂

I've found the CBFM easy to use and as far as I can see it's v accurate (af arrives 16 days after a peak).
I would advise to dip the tests rather than wee on them as I had a few that wouldn't register in the monitor but when dipped they always work !

Well I might start eating sweet potatoes. Happy to have twins or just the one! Maybe it will help you have one of you've got a rubbish body like mine! As of today I've been referred to a fertility clinic. A bit sad

I'm definitely tempted to mainline sweet potatoes to give the sperm a chance to find an egg!!

This month I'm just tracking to see what my cycle is doing before insemination next cycle. So I'm day 24 and due period Saturday or Sunday but today I noticed creamy CM which was slightly stretchy, does anyone else get this before AF?

Sorry to hear that boatrace - can totally understand how that would sting. But hopefully something really helpful comes out of it (or else you get your bfp before then and never have to go!)

Juneybean I get stretchy cm about 4 days before af then after a couple of days I completely dry up then 2 days later af arrives. So it COULD be a sign af is on her way

I had bloods last month and really low progesterone but started oil of evening primrose and feel much better and somehow had a period so who knows!

Are you taking anything else? I'm taking B50 complex, vitamin C and zinc and magnesium. Was tying agnus castus but giving that up this month.

Has evening primrose had a really noticeable effect?

Just ordered a thermometer to start charting so hopefully this will speed things along! good luck everyone!

It was a combination one from boots for hormone regulation, has oil of evening primrose and some B vitamins I think will check when I get home, have been taking everyday when I remember!

previously I have had as long as 13 week cycles coming off the pill so was really chuffed with my 6 and a half week cycle, also had reiki done by a family friend could all be coincidence but will she what happens this cycle am feeling optimistic that hopefully this cycle will be similar if not maybe shorter fingers crossed
