So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

I am cd2 so a bit of a wait for fw now, boo! Not much to update, will probably start doing the opks around cd15 ish as last cycle was 35 days. Glad to see some of you are due to test around the same time in May! X

I'm still here too! Waiting for my period before I can do home insemination.

My last cycle was 47 days so god knows when I am due to test, had an impressive 22 days of flashing smileys last cycle before I gave up!

Fully expecting my cycle to be a bit messed up this month after my op but we'll see ! Never quite know what's going on with my cycle sometimes. From CBFM I would expect it on day 28-30 but that's v early for me ....

cookie I usually have long cycles too but my last was 35 days, which is short for me! Previous to this they were in the 40s!
It's great when your not ttc but a pain the backside when you are as it makes the wait for fw sooo long 😫😂 can I ask, how old are your other dc? Mine are 6(nearly7) and 4 so the gape will be bigger this time, which makes me nervous?! .

Hi all, jumping on from the April bus. Thought it was our month this time as we had the faintest of lines on a couple of tests, but AF has arrived in full force this morning 5 days late. Not sure if it was a chemical or just faulty tests (or eyes!).

Last Cycle was doomed to fail as I spent most of it trying to combat symptoms and pain of IBS. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has this and if they think it affects their fertility? I'm convinced it does affect mine.

Hoping for BFPs in May for everyone and lots of January baby's! Gutted there'll be no baby this year but what a fabulous way it'll be to start the new year!

I'm tentatively jumping on.... I had my mirena coil removed this morning and I have no idea of my cycle since it stopped my periods. I've downloaded Ovuview - is anyone else using an app? This is the same one I used when trying for DC1, I was pregnant cycle 1 (chemical) and cycle 3 (DC1!) first time around but that was 3 years ago.

CD1 today, AF arriving two days early in the middle of the night shift from hell.

Bit sad not to have a 2017 baby...

Hoping a bit of moral support on here will help. Weird month all in all as my Mum died three weeks ago, after a very long illness, so in a post night, sad, and now not pregnant sulk at the mo... hoping a bit of sleep helps.

I use Ovia and also CBFM and 99% of the time they match up. Been using Ovia for 15 months as I wanted to track my cycle and CBFM since December as knew we would be ttc at some point this year and I was anxious to make sure I be able to pinpoint fertile times !

9months trying and getting a bit desperate.

I have pcos. I have been chatting since December. Have discovered I have a short LP. I ovulate late and get a period about 8-9days later so no chance for any little fertilised egg.

DH getting increasingly stressed too which is making dtd a bit of a trial.

I've tried agnus castus and b50 complex, but think I'm going to forget all that this month.

Gp seen last month. Awaiting some blood test results, and see where we go from there.

Boatrace I have blood tests tomorrow but I don't know what it is they look for, all I know is if have to fast for 14 hours before! Do you know what exactly they look for? Also going for scan just waiting for appointment date.

Bagel so sorry to hear about your mum, this must be such a stressful and upsetting time for you. Hope you managed to get some sleep after your night shift.

I had promised DH I would "relax and enjoy" TTC but I am getting rather fed up so I have ordered myself some ovulation test's this month - its getting serious!

If it's a fasting blood test I think they are checking your thyroid? But I could be wrong. I had one like that with DD but this time I had day 21 test which looks for progesterone to confirm you have actually ovukated

And it will also check your general hormone levels I think (I just ran upstairs and checked my old diary)

Thank you that makes sense, gp didn't say exactly what test was for but if it's thyroid and hormone then it's covering all bases an I guess I might need to do the 21 day test depending on the results of this test. Hope your results come back good for you.

Yep that's exactly what happened with me. My fasting test was relatively normal so then moved on to the day 21, but last time I actually got pregnant just after the day 21 test so never knew what the next stage was

I only have 26/27 cycle so day 21 would be well into 2ww for me! I used opks last cycle for the first time and did get a positive but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm ovulating does it?

Ladydolly about apps I've been using one called Flo, I've found it really easy to use and it did match my predicted ovulation day to my positive opk.
