@satsoooma congratulations!!! How lovely! So pleased of all the success on here m. Gives me hope.

I've had to take a break from the thread been feeling really down these days as you do.. I just had acupuncture for the first time today. That was super weird. She seemed very concerned that I havnt had a period or even spotting for 8 months now :( and my doctor or gynaecologist didn't give me any meds and just said go to a fertility clinic. Have not even got my blood results back from gyn or letter from her that I can ask my doctor to refer me to the clinic. Waiting game. I hope this acupuncture can bring on a bleed at least. I also had my first session of laser hair removal on my upper lip on Monday. I hope everyone is doing ok. Can't wait to finally get into a fertility clinic and start some clomid or SOMETHING! Feeling down :(

I hope you feel better soon, I've been really really down about it all recently as well. Feels like time is just passing by with nothing happening. I feel stuck, like why do we have to wait a year when it seems unlikely I'm ovulating at all!? Lets just get this ball moving.

I don't know if I ovulated the other day for sure. Had some tugging feelings today so who knows. I'm not testing until after Easter which is 17 days away! I'm too scared of having an early miscarriage again to test sooner. It's going to be a long 17 days.

Ahh xx I forgot that you've not bothered with the opks. How about ewcm? Seen much of that?! Xx with the theory of the folicale growing a mm a day, I would have said that you where likely to have ovulated on CD16/17 I'm sure that I read somewhere that follicles only 'hatch' if they're between 20 and 24mm

Had some ewcm on Tuesday. Sore nips Wednesday and tugging feeling on one side today. Scan nurse predicted I'd ovulate Tuesday or Wednesday. Did 2 opks Monday and Tuesday but go no positives so either I missed the surge or it happened Wednesday onwards. Either way, will give DTD one last go tomorrow and then I'm done for this cycle. What will be will be. I know I should put my positive hat on. Just scared, that's all.

It's very hard to put your positive hat on. Last cycle I was positive until the scan day, then I got nervous and negative, i know that the aprehension around the unpredictability of the opks didnt help either. This time around I was nervous and negative at the beginning of the cycle, but have become far more focused. Ditched the opks as you suggested, I might give them a go when I've got ewcm signs over perhaps 2 days.

DH appears to be much more relaxed about the whole situation too as we did get to a point where he couldn't 'perform' if I mentioned the whole DTD thing Sad

I think that the Christmas baby thing is really given us a boost. We'd be due boxing day if all goes to plan.

CONGRATULATIONS satsooma amazing! I had a really good feeling about your cycle this month too. So pleased for you! I'm loving all the BFP's it's really lifting my spirits. Don't leave us on this thread though please haha, I still need your knowledge! Grin

Aaaah! Thanks everyone!! We are very excited. DH is finding it a bit hard to process I think - he hardly slept.

I burned through my collection of various test brands this morning, just to be sure. They were all positive, although it was interesting to see that some lines were much fainter than others.

Fluffy I should be exactly 4 weeks (CB digital says 1-2 weeks).

Boggle, I am so so relieved that I can cancel the HyCoSy. Obviously I just needed that extra motivation to actually get pregnant Grin.

I'll still be stopping by the thread SLady, I think it is going to be a lucky thread for everyone. I will be crossing my fingers extra tight that you get your Christmas babies Boggle and Amy. It sounds like things are going well for you both so far this cycle.

I really don't think I could have made it this far without the support from this thread. You are all so knowledgeable and it was so reassuring to know that there were others going through the same thing as me, when it seemed like no-one in real life could understand.

satsooma can I ask how long it's been since first taking clomid to getting your BFP? I know this is your 5th round? But obviously doesn't take 5 months

SLady I kept really good notes, so I can tell you we started TTC 18 months ago and I first went to my GP to ask about PCOS 11 months ago. It is now 9 months since my official PCOS diagnosis and referral to a fertility clinic.

My first fertility clinic appointment was 6 months ago and I started Clomid the next day. This was lucky round 5/6 at 50mg.

Thanks Dani. Sorry to hear that you felt rubbish in your first trimester. I love your approach of just enjoying everything, even the shit bits though :) Can't believe you are due so soon. It seems like just the other week that you got your BFP. x
