Hang in there Boggle. At least you've had your progesterone test now so you will know either way in a few days about your levels. If your progesterone is an issue I think I'm right in saying you can have suppliments in pessary form during your cycle for that. Have you got counselling this week?

SummerHopin · 05/04/2017 10:50

Welcome Holly too. We can certainly help with any PCOS related questions you have but I dont know if the route we are all on would apply to you if your situation is a bit more complex plus you already have a dc. It sounds like you've been through a lot though so anything you want to know re. PCOS just shout.

SummerHopin · 05/04/2017 10:53

Slady so pleased for you! I'm going to clinic tomorrow too to have my CD11 check on clomid so getting nervous / excited. I've had a few instances of achy boobs the last couple of days and I've been super tired, but I dont know what that means. Hopefully it means I'm growing a lovely fat follicle but who knows!

Today is going to be a long day - I'm sure you're the same SLady :)

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 11:02

I suspect I'll know if I'm out before I'm able to get my blood test results.
I had counselling on Monday. Depending on how this cycle goes, my next session on the 20th might be my last.

SLady · 05/04/2017 11:13

Yes that's true holly, the procedure is probably different if you already have a DC. Definitely worth following up with your GP though rather than being fobbed off for another couple of years.

Eeks I know summer been waiting ages for this! It's first thing in the morning which is good :) good luck for your scan tomorrow. I bet you're excited to know what's going on! Fingers crossed for a big fat juicy follicle!!

2WW is hell boggle hugs

SummerHopin · 05/04/2017 11:18

I'm about 4 weeks into my counselling and I do think it is helping. Like you say, getting a BFP will mean no more counselling is needed, but I am pleased I do it. Mine is due to end either way at the end of April.

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 11:22

Thanks guys. I don't think I'm out yet I am just nervous. Spotting has never been for any other reason but bad.

Bah. I'm wishing time away. I just want to know.

Good luck with your appointments tomorrow. I hope they go really well!

HollyWollyDooDah · 05/04/2017 14:03

Thanks guys, I'm unfortunate enough to not have much optimism when it comes to GPS and gynae stuff.
Always felt a bit fobbed off and had to really push for the endorsement treatment

Had my 21 day bloods today so will book in next week and have a chat about that.
I will ask for a referral anyway as I'm in pain a lot - funnily enough they didn't always believe me.

Just one question which I've just thought about. Does pcos just randomly appear? Just that they've always said scans and ovaries were fine. Now all of a sudden I've got pcos

Does anyone have any useful links I can look at?

Thanks everyone again for being welcoming and kind :)

AmyC86 · 05/04/2017 14:05

I think that I'm ovulating today. Lots of EWCM this morning, in work so I hope I'm not too late to get down to it tonight. DTD last on Monday afternoon.

How's baby fluffy?? Xx

GreenEyedGirl01 · 05/04/2017 19:18

Hi all

Thanks so much for your help with my previous question - I have one more for you please?

I've been instructed to start clomid on day two of my cycle (after taking provera to induce a period). I just wanted to check what actually counts as day 1?! Apologies for TMI - my period usually starts with a day or two of brown blood before really kicking in, would day one be first day of that? I'd hate to get off to a bad start by starting the clomid on the wrong day...

Thank you in advance... and best of luck to everybody this month, I've got my fingers crossed for you all!

FluffyEwok · 05/04/2017 19:21

I've got a scan a week tomorrow boggle. Feel ill if I don't eat thoughFlowers

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 20:12

Hi Green, second day of full red bloody flow to start clomid. Good luck!

Yay! How many weeks Fluffy?

GreenEyedGirl01 · 05/04/2017 20:22

Thank you Boggle! I've never really had to think about it before!

Hope you're doing ok

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 20:27

10th time's a charm Green! Just about floating at the minute!

satsoooma · 05/04/2017 20:33

Oh Boggle, sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment. If it helps at all, cramping at about one week post ovulation (it briefly stopped a couple of days before AF was due) was pretty much the only pregnancy symptom I had. Do you usually get cramping, or spotting, at this point in your cycle?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed extra tight that the spotting and cramps are just your new embryo setting up house. xx

Hope everyone else's appointments go well this week!

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 20:58

Not massively crampy. Brown discharge is quite high up, like, I have to go searching for it but it's defo there. Any time of spotted, it's always lead to AF. So not feeling hopeful.

satsoooma · 05/04/2017 21:15

How many dpo are you? If you just got your progesterone test done, spotting at this point in your cycle could be a good thing. I appreciate that it will still be worrying for you though.

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 21:25

Today is 7dpo. Pinky discharge Monday (5dpo), brown yesterday and today. I don't know want to think. It feels too early. I just want this baby so much.

satsoooma · 05/04/2017 21:41

I know how awful it is to have to wait, but discharge at 5-7 dpo sounds like a really positive sign, so try not to panic just yet.

I spent days worrying to DH about all the cramping I had at about 7dpo. Looking back, it is obvious that was not something that would normally happen during my regular cycle.

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 05/04/2017 21:54

I'm trying to not test early either cos it'll break me. I will test after Easter. DH has taken my tests. I just want my baby. It's overdue!!
