Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Morning all! Grumpy that's brilliant GrinGrin I've never tried Pilates, I would have thought it would have been good though! Hope the cool yoga is better today.

How are you feeling today dancing? I hope the cramping isn't too bad x

My garden is on the small side, but it's big enough that we've got some grass and a small patio area. I planted some ready-grown herbs a couple of weeks ago which I've always wanted Smile put some of the thyme on my roast chicken on Sunday, was decent!

Hope everyone has a good day.

buzzmoon · 04/04/2017 07:43

Morning all! Hope you're okay dancing and got a good night sleep!

Haha grumpy I hope you find cool yoga okay. I'm looking forward to joining the pregnancy yoga class at 14 weeks.

tigger your garden sounds lovely!

Hope everyone has a good day! Only 4 days till the weekend!

orangefolly · 04/04/2017 07:48

Hi all, just catching up.

Dancing glad you are home and healing. You've been amazingly strong Flowers (in place of car park daffodils - ha)

Thank you all for the holiday advice. It's unanimous for chilled out. You are all very wise so I will take your advice Grin

Oh re the 5:2 buzz I did this for a few months and lost loads of weight - it made me really aware of how much I was eating on my non fasting days, and cut my sugar cravings right back. Buuuuut I ended up feeling so deprived and miserable with the diet (and hangry every 2 day) that when I stopped I felt angry with diets in general and put weight back on!

penguin I love a few herbs - I find it ridiculously satisfying to eat something I have grown! I keep trying to grow peas and beans on the patio but the bloody squirrels eat everything!

Seven0fNine · 04/04/2017 07:49

dancing you are a very brave lady. Hope you managed to get some sleep x

Haha penguin that's the best feeling when DH is cooking and goes "do we have any oregano?" And I feel very smug and go and chop some out the garden!

Tigger I am so excited about your garden. Pizza oven is our dream but it's a distant one as we need to start saving for our own house first. Sounds amazing! Please post us some pics when it's done x

Haha grumpy about the fart! I can't wait to get pregnant and start blaming stuff on being upduffed. 😂

Day 2 of Easter hols and just sent DH off to work with his lunch box. Managed to knock a pot of double cream all over the floor. So hard to clean up - the cat was delighted. Raining here so today is deffo going to be a crafty day 😀

DancingUnicorn · 04/04/2017 08:30

Seven hahaha. I'm trying to imagine my oh ever asking if we have oregano!!

HeyJupiter · 04/04/2017 09:31

Seven your cat must have been delighted! Grin

Dancing ditto on DH and oregano. Not sure my DH really understands herbs :) Hope you're feeling okay-ish today.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Redpony1 · 04/04/2017 10:00

Dancing Flowers you are a superwomen, so strong. Hope you feel ok today

Orange I am worried about feeling deprived! I literally do not know what to do! I started following the SW plan yesterday, but kinda tracking calories as well as syns just to see how they compare. I did originally lose 4st on SW so i know it works, but i have no idea why i am struggling! I have lost 1lb since Jan. I have put on 6lb since coming off the pill in Dec - i thought i'd lose weight!!!!!

DancingUnicorn · 04/04/2017 10:30

I think the hormonal changes affect people differently red. I've definitely heard stories of it going both ways. My problem is, and always will be, that I love food! It makes me happy. And I hate exercise, which makes me sad! ;) FX you find something that works for you.

Penguin27 · 04/04/2017 11:30

Haha dancing I have the same problem... looove food (and wine!) and not an exercise fanatic at all! I also think my DH doesn't understand herbs... spices he gets, but seems to think "Italian mix" herbs go with everything so he doesn't ever need anything else! To be fair, it goes well in most things

JB1983 · 04/04/2017 14:35

I have quite a big garden but I'm a bit rubbish on the gardening side so it is mostly paved or grass. I do have a Border though and have prepped that for planting. Is it two early for my annual trip to the garden centre for bedding plants? Last year I planted them too late and they didn't flower until almost the end of summer. The year before I planted hem too early and my neighbours tutted that they wouldn't survive if there was a frost highly possible at any time of year in Scotland to be fair! I want my border to look nice by the time I have a big BBQ in May.

HbH · 04/04/2017 15:55

afternoon ladies!

Dancing you are such a strong woman, hope you've got the rest of the week off & lovely people to look after you FlowersCake

Big lols @ your fart probs grumpy and boo to your exercise woes. I'm an occasional pilates participant! First time i went armed with a sweat towel and sweat band (used to much more high calibre working out) & didn't even shed a bead! I do find it do good for back and core though, and can usually feel well worked the next day... might depend on the instructor though.

Italy is beautiful, weather splendid but I'm absolutely POOPED! I'm just having my afternoon lie down potentially a nap This is definitely reiterating to me that there should be no more preggo active hols! I'm certainly not complaining as I'm lucky to be here & lucky to be preggo but it's the first time I've been physically and slightly mentally drained on hol!

My eyes are shutting as i type.......😴

penguinsandotters · 04/04/2017 16:35

Hb wish I could be in Italy now! Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

AF just arrived so it's another cycle for me. Just had a large slice of chocolate cake Cake to cheer me up! I too love food too much but am not too bad on the exercise front.

Penguin27 · 04/04/2017 16:40

I'm so jealous Hb I love Italy!! Glad you're having a good time. Get plenty of rest and naps where you can, you definitely deserve it.

Sorry that AF has arrived otters, but on to the next cycle! I also think mine is starting, although it might just be more spotting so I'll wait and see... it's definitely more blood-like now than earlier spotting (sorry for tmi!)

Tigger83 · 04/04/2017 16:45

Jb there are some frost hardy perennials and bedding plants you can put it... I'm waiting a few more weeks for everything else that's softer as according to countryfile there could still be a cold snap. Alternative is put them in and throw some frost fleece over the tenders! I've got my violas and bits in. What do you want to grow? Bleeding heart can go in now and hydrangeas... I've put in some Large Daisy's and some other bits

DancingUnicorn · 04/04/2017 17:02

Hb enjoy your nap in the sun. You deserve it! I can't imagine being on holiday the past couple of months, so I'm hoping you're able to rest lots!

Jb the garden centre might be able to help decide what could go in now? I love a good garden centre trip even though I have no garden and kill every pot plant I've ever owned including cacti

Otters I'm so sorry about AF. Glad you have cake!! Are you taking Clomid did you say? Have you been taking it long? Hopefully it works some magic this cycle!

If there's a list update at any point, I worked out today that the earliest I could expect another bfp is end of May/start of June. Of course, all depends on cycle returning to normal quickly. But I can hope!!

Do we have testing tomorrow?

DancingUnicorn · 04/04/2017 17:21

Oh, also wanting to book a relaxing weekend break, somewhere in the UK (south ideally, so we don't have far to drive). Anyone have suggestions?

NaturWilde · 04/04/2017 17:25

All this talk of gardening is lovely...I was reading "Expecting Better" at the weekend, and she recommends no gardening during pregnancy?! Thoughts?!

NaturWilde · 04/04/2017 17:27

I'll certainly be gardeningSmile

Tigger83 · 04/04/2017 17:28

Dancing what about southwold or orford? Love it there!!

buzzmoon · 04/04/2017 17:35

dancing Rye/Hastings is lovely! We stayed in a fabulous place by the company The Dream Lodge Group. Was lovely!

I've been googling all morning about gardening whilst pregnant wilde I washed my hands about 5 times after so hoping will be okay!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 04/04/2017 17:41

Buzz it's only really a risk if cats poo in your garden. I think my cats' litter tray is more of a risk - I'm getting DH to do it now. Plus sense of smell is def heightened.. yuk.

I'm home already as had a meeting finish early. I'm currently lying on my bed in full skirt suit trying not to fall asleep! Supposed to be leaving for cool yoga in 30 mins hmm ... ok gonna try and go.. I just want to eat and sleep!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 04/04/2017 17:42

Hb enjoy relaxing in Italy!

DancingUnicorn · 04/04/2017 17:46

Wilde I think gardening is generally ok, but it's more important to wear gloves and make sure hands and washed etc. I really like that book, found it pretty useful. I like numbers!

buzzmoon · 04/04/2017 17:47

I got to leave work early too grumpy so nearly home! Got prawn linguine for dinner and going to sit on the sofa and watch telly 🎉

HbH · 04/04/2017 17:48

dancing

Bath or somewhere in the Cotswolds are both recommended (bourton-on-the-water, stow on the wold both beautiful among so many more, got engaged there so i may be biased!)
